Great all purpose shoe!
The Soft Walk San Jose is very comfortable except for a little binding at the widest part. (My foot is very wide, tho'.) I'm on my feet most of the day and these have been extremely comfortable. The style is versatile and this is a great all around shoe.

Comfort even at an odd size -
One of the few brands to carry the 11.5, the shoe feels great all day and I'm on my feet continually and on hard floors.

Well worth the money!
I have really wide feet so it's hard to find shoes that I can wear to work and be comfortable in all day. These shoes were absolute comfort from the moment I put them on; no breaking-in time necessary at all. I also was able to find a better price elsewhere, which Zappos matched, so that was also a big plus. I am so happy with these shoes (I'm very fond of Mary Janes and was really bummed when I wore out my last pair, a different brand from a retail store, and couldn't find them again); I had to tell myself to wait until the end of the summer before buying another pair (for when these wear out).

Great shoes -
I bought these to replace a beloved pair of Doc Marten Mary Janes that were falling apart. While I love my Docs, I'm really impressed with these SoftWalk's. These took only a day or two to break in and they're nowhere near as "clunky" as my old Docs--they're light and very comfortable.

I like the style of this shoe. I wear a larger size and also a wide width. The strap and center stitching combine to give the illusion of a smaller narrower foot.

comfy and lots of cushion. Slightly smaller than I thought. But, 1/2 size bigger would have been too long. I have very wide, short feet.

The perfect shoe for a 10 1/2 AA who needs square toe -
I recently ordered 3 pr of SoftWalk styles..sent back one style, keptthe other 2. This style was MEANT for my feet. I have never had a shoe feel fit so perfectly, and so soft. No breaking in period at all. I could not believe it!! You are my FAVORITE SHOE STORE...your easy returns and free shipping policy provides an incentive to order more than one pair for those of us Hard to fit people.

Soft Walk San Jose -
I was looking for a shoe that would be comfortable for walking and look good with pants or a skirt to wear when travelling so I only have to take one pair of shoes. This shoe works perfectly. It is very comfortable. Its only flaw is that I would prefer a bit more arch support.

Excellent shoe!
This is the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever owned! The shoe doesn't rub at all and the padding is great. I've worn these shoes with dress pants, skirts, dresses, and jeans, and I think it looks great with all of them. This shoe was definitely worth the money.

Great shoes!
Only problem I have with them is that they "squish" when I walk. Otherwise, they are great shoes and I'm sure that the squishing will subside.

P.S. You might want to talk to your manufacturer about the heel cushioning in the Alpha shoes. I reall like them except that with both pairs I've had, the heel cushioning/lining wears out long before the rest of the shoe does. I'd really like another pair, but don't want to spend that much and have the heels go.

Getting comfortable shoes in my size has been impossable until now. It is a little wide around the ankle but an extra hole in the strap fixed that.

This shoe is really comfortable. If you wear wide shoes Zappos.com is the place to shop. Zappos customer service is OUTSTANDING, I mean REALY OUTSTANDING!!!! I will never go to a shoe store again and try to purchase wide shoes and suffer the frustration of trying to find my size.

I get 1/2 size larger for a closed shoe and this one is very comfortable because of the leather and especially the cusioned sole. The only problem I had was that the heel is either to high or to stiff. It hurt and made a blister. This has been a commom occurance with "new shoes" for me since I was a kid. SOmetimes it does not occur and I can only think that the heel is a tiny but lower or much softer leather.

These shoes are better than I anticipated - I was able to wear them right from the box and they look better on my foot than in the picture. I wear between a 7 1/2 and 8 narrow. I ordered the 7 1/2 first and returned them, the 8N is perfect for my narrow heel without pinching the toe.

Mary Jane lover -
I have been wearing Softwalk's MaryJane Jupiter but wanted a darker navy. This popped up on Zappos, so I ordered it. It has a different insole than the Jupiter (somewhat thinner with not as much cushion). Since I have to take out the insoles to put in my medically prescribed orthodic, this worked fine. What I found, however, is that the thin insole from here worked quite well as the underliner insole for my orthodic for the Jupiter Softwalk. I believe the reason for this is that the Jupiter has more depth than this shoe. I cannot wear this with the insole that it comes with and my orthodic. I have to just have a thinner half insole (over the counter) and my orthodic for this. The shoe itself is dressier than the Jupiter. It is a bit narrower than the Jupiter, but it still works for my wide foot (don't order wide unless you are really wide). The color was a darker navy but not a black navy. The shoe is lovely and dressy and makes my foot look narrower than it is. Note it does not have the level of toe depth of the Jupiter.

Not as comfortable as it looks -
I almost wish I'd sent this one back before I wore it. The strap is not supportive. The bumpy pad is comfortable but they didn't compensate for the space it takes up and my foot feels crowded. The vamp throws my foot forward and to the side.

This is a great shoe except for the front rim is a bit tight. Could be my high arch, but other then that, its good.

These shoes are a dream. They actually look nice and are dressy. They are deep enough for plastic arch supports and wide enough for bunions and arthritic toes. Most extra-wide, deep shoes are ugly clodhoppers. Best of all, they are like walking on a cloud.

Shoe looks great -
The strap on the shoe that goes over the instep is not as flexible as it should be. This is the only drawback to an otherwise great shoe. I have about 15 pairs of SoftWalk and love them--this is a bit of a disappointment.
