These boots totally rock! I absolutely love them. They are a very nice shade of red, are comfortable, go with everything and I get compliments all the time. My second pair of Docs and still a huge fan.

Very nice boot.
I got this shoe very fast from Zappos- thanks for the great service! I agree with previous review on the small calf thing- it doesn't seem to apply. My best friend has them in the UK size 6, I have them in UK 7 and they look better in the smaller size- the calf of the boot is cut more generously in the larger size. Still, they are gorgeous and I'm glad I got them. The leather is a rich dark red with burnished highlights, and with the addition of some arch supports and innersoles, they are very comfortable. The zipper is a little stiff at first, I used a dab of vegetable oil on it and it loosened up. I used Dr. Marten's Wonder Balsam to soften the leather, and it helped to lace them loosely around the ankle for the first couple of weeks. Worth it!

Fabulous and stylish -
I got these boots shipped SO quickly and none too soon since snow is on the way. They seemed to run a little big to me, and they are wide for a narrow foot (AAA) but the addition of footbeds seems to help. I am also going through a break in period for them, but am sure they will be as comfortable as they are hot! I don't agree with the comment on slender calves (I guess it is to what degree) I am athletic and have very muscular calves and they are fine - the lacing lets you adjust.

Great Boots!
These boots are fabulous: comfortable and ridiculously stylish at the same time. I am so glad I bought these and get compliments every single time I wear them. You will not regret buying these.

I was worried these would be brownish, but they are the perfect red – I LOVE these. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on them already.

SHARP LOOKING BOOTS -
These are a great pair of boots. You get the hot look of the high lace-up, with the convenience of the side zipper. Plus, they are very comfortable. Be forewarned: If you have full calves, you may not want to order these. Mine are slender, and I still find them snug up the leg. Already, I've gotten compliments on them. I think they'll look great with my long skirts and denim jacket. What's not to like?!

 |  | I received your email this morning about my shoes being shipped priority! I am just ending my 12 week maternity leave and will be going back to work on Tuesday. I have not lost all of the baby weight yet so I have been busy shopping for new clothes and also needed some new shoes for work to spice up my wardrobe. I have a difficulty time finding dress shows b/c I have a narrow heel and dress shoes do not stay on my heel very well. Therefore, I am always keeping an eye open for dress shoes with an ankle strap. My friend recommend Zappos.com and it has been a fantastic experience searching for shoes that fit by criteria! What a great website and great shopping experience! No more trips to the mall searching for shoes. I am hooked on Zappos!
