These shoes are great for work! I am on my feet walking around all day and these shoes are supportive, comfortable and look like athletic shoes. I usually wear similar shoes with laces (made by Skechers); however, I inadvertently ordered these and I couldn't be happier. In fact I haven't purchased the lace up shoes since. They feel much tighter, like if you laced up your shoes really tight and I like that. I feel like they won't fall off or are loose on my foot. The only flaw in these shoes is that I have to buy a new pair every 3-4 months because they get really "worked" and start losing support. Overall a great shoe for work!

An essential for a Hearst Castle tour guide on the go. Averaging over 600 stairs a day, Islamorada keeps me going thru the day. The good folks at Zappos are fast and excellent communicators. I replace these shoes at least once a year and Zappos offers a better price than the manufacture!

Zappos was great, but I have to say that these sneakers were not so great. They are very hard leather and I have tried to stretch them out, but I have had no luck. I work at a very busy bar in which I cocktail waitress and these sneakers are not meant to be worn for ten hours. They are not bad for a couple of hours, but not for the whole shift. I just got a pair of Easy Spirits that are way better. Good luck!

I love these shoes I am on my feet all day. When I wear my running shoes my feet ache, they are tired and sore. But these are work/walking shoes, at the end of the day my feet are tired but they do not ache. They are true to size but, the back of the shoe is slightly wider than I would like but they make my feet look smaller. I will purchase again.

Sneakers fit comfortably. Easy to get on. Was impressed that I purchased a size 11 and it made my feet look small (which is not common). Not as flexible as I would have hoped, but very comfortable. I stand for 9 hours a day and my feet don't hurt afterwards. Only one problem... if shoe stays dry, slip resistant sole is wonderful. However, if wet gets up into the groves of the traction (like a puddle), then they don't prevent slipping. Not like other Skechers I have purchased.

Stylish yet uncomfortable to wear for 8 hours of standing -
I really like the look of these shoes and the ease of not having laces. I ordered my usual size and a 1/2 size up and ended up needing the larger size. I found the insert and bottom of the shoe to be hard and inflexible. I have worn them a few times and yesterday, after standing and walking for about 9 hours, the soles of my feet ached and I was eager to get them off. I also bought the Nurse Mates Arizona shoe and find them to be more comfortable.

Best Non Slip Work Shoe, Zappos best delivery -
I love this shoe!!! I wear Skechers for personal shoes but was slipping in the water at work on cement floors with the regular ones. I do NOT slip in this shoe, love the wide toe box (I don't rub my toes in this brand), the wide base is nice cuz my foot does not turn over like in other shoes. I buy these two at a time cuz I like to replace my work shoes every four months or so plus have one to clean and air out, and one to wear.

If you work with water on the floor you will love these non slip shoes! They are comfortable from day one and have great arch support. This is my second pair!

The best in non-slip sole for the work place -
I've worn Skechers for a few years now; I've worn non-slip work shoes for a few years now, but to have the best of these two shoes together is a dream come true. I can't imagine wearing any other shoe for work & play. Solid black in color goes with anything and not having to tie shoe laces is also a big plus. Zappos did a great job in giving me OVERNIGHT shipping for free!!! I had these shoes on my feet in less than 24 hours after placing the order. Thanks Zappos.

The best non-skid shoes in the world -
I work on my feet all day long in a school cafeteria. We had to buy non-skid shoes. I have tried all kinds of non-skid shoes just to find my feet would hurt so badly at the end of the day. My doctor told me to get two pair of shoes changing them every other day. I bought two pairs of Islamorada shoes. I wear a different pair a day and my feet are fine now. I recommend these shoes to everyone who works on their feet everyday.

Great looking shoe. The traction is a plus.
I bought these for the lace less style, not so much for the ease of slipping them on, but because they looked different from similar Skechers. They are shinier than other Skechers too.
I tried on Skechers Energy and the soles were soft. These soles are much harder, but no less comfortable. However, they feel different and I think would be less usable as a hiking or walking shoe.
After several weeks of wearing them as regular sneakers I wore them to a farmers market, one known for messy floors. They performed admirably. I was able to walk confidently on anything that lay in the way, including french fries, grapes, a couple of small tomatoes, spilled liquids, and every other item that ended up on the concrete floor of the market. I think the hard sole gives the shoe a bit more power when walking on such things and helping the treads grip in it. What surprised me was that the traction didn't decrease even though the soles seem to pick up some or all of everything you walk on, especially if it is soft. An item to note is that because the soles hold what is stepped on they also track it behind you. I left tracks all over the market floor.
Once I got home I found they were easier to clean than many shoes, but they DID require cleaning, something I rarely do.

I wouldn't wear these to a restaurant, but happily am going to wear them when walking in Euro...

Great shoe for a pregnant woman! They are very comfortable and have great heel support. It feels like my heels are on pillows! They are easy to slip on and off.

My Fit!
I love the look of these shoes, plus the fact that there are no laces. They are slip resistant, that feature is great! I use them for work and my feet hurt at the middle of the day, even with gel soles inside. I stand on my feet all day so they are not as comfortable as I had hoped. I would order a 1/2 size larger, Skechers brand seems to run that way.

I bought this shoe a little leery because my feet are wide, but they fit me great, a little snug getting on at 1st, but they broke right in. I will be getting another so as to switch up every so often, I am on my feet 8 hrs at a time on wet concrete tiled floor, and these have yet to slip!

Great shoe for a nurse -
This shoe fits very well, and does not stretch out. Mine were worn daily "just at work" (8-12 hrs/day) until I realized these were wonderful with jeans and shorts, too. I was looking to buy another pair similar, looked at Premix and Energy 2, and ended up getting these same pair again without realizing it. I like them THAT much. I have horrible over-pronation, and these seem to 'correct' it somehow; my feet don't hurt, even with flat arches. I did get a wee little blister during the breaking-in phase, but that is to be expected. Great shoe, holds up well (I'm really hard on shoes). They don't get as dirty as other's I've had, as there is little fabric to hold a stain. Just wipe, and go!

A little slippery!
I'm a server and always on my feet. I am also 3 months pregnant and was looking for something supportive as well as slip proof. The shoe feels great. Not having to break in they are comfortable out of the box! However, when I got to work, I started sliding on one of our slip proof mats in the kitchen. We thought maybe it was grease but I am really not sure. My friend tested it with her shoes and she didn't slide at all! Where I was sliding like roller skates! Maybe a bit pricey compared to shoes I only paid $25 and gets better traction! My manager also told me other girls have had trouble with these same shoes. Everything else is good. I just have to watch out in one certain spot!

Too Tight -
I liked the look of the shoe, but when I ordered I ordered my size (6) but they are too tight. I should have ordered a 6-1/2. They are not very comfortable. My feet hurt by the time I get home from work.

Bought this shoe for work and got several compliments on it. A little difficult to slide on. Great non skid sole. Perhaps runs a little short in size.
