The shoe looks great. I have worn them a number of times and like how they look with jeans. If I order them again, I will check to see if they have an extra wide size. I find the wide to be too tight with a heavier sock on. I wish I had found that out before I wore them outside. Maybe because of the tightness, I find my foot aches after a few hours of wearing. I tried a gel pad, but that only makes the shoe tighter on my foot.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever. The wide width is great, the shoe is roomy and very supportive. I\'ll definitely buy another pair of these shoes. Great price, too.

I love these shoes; this was my 3rd pair. They're comfy and fit great! Better than the shoes is the excellent and speedy service I get from Zappos. No shipping, delivered to my door in 2 or 3 days. What more could you ask for?

My order for Propet slip-on shoes was a perfect choice. The shoe is sized as advertised and is the quality I expected. Zappos takes all the risk out of shopping and I am able to buy with confidence that I will end up with what I need. In fact, Zappos is the only store that I want to shop with for all clothing and shoes! They care!

Snug fit -
I ordered my usual size but the fit feels a bit tighter than other brands, especially in width. They were so snug I couldn't have worn even the thinnest of socks. I also felt there wasn't much arch support and the insole felt more firm than cushioned. The shoes appear to be very well constructed and I loved the fact that they can be washed. I returned my order unworn so I can't attest to the all day comfort that some have written about.

Love them! These shoes were so comfortable I wore them out. I would definitely buy another pair. I have a high instep, but there was enough give to make them very comfortable. I didn't use them for exercising, but as a casual walking shoe they were great.

These fit true to size and look nice enough for a comfort shoe. Unfortunately, they no longer have the same arch support; it is slightly less supportive and comfortable as the previous pairs I ordered 3 years ago.

Based solely on other reviews, I bought this shoe over a more expensive, similar shoe by another brand. Specifically, I chose the Propet because reviewers for the most part touted its great arch support. I also have a very wide foot and it was one of the few slip-ons that came in wide and extra-wide. I ordered a 7 extra wide (even though I usually wear only wide) because of one reviewer's complaint about not being able to slip one's foot easily into the shoe. Although I find it overall comfortable after about four hours of being on my feet, I disagree about the arch support. For my feet there is absolutely no arch support. I also wish I had ordered just regular wide as they are a little loose on me. That, however, is corrected with thicker socks. All in all, I would say this shoe is true to size and width, but with little or no arch support. I also disagree with reviewers who felt that it was ugly. I bought the blue color (which looks more grey than blue) and think it's a handsomely funky shoe that looks great with jeans and chinos.

Most comfortable shoes; I have been a nurse for years and have worn many different shoes, but these are by far the most comfortable, ever. They aren't the most beautiful; however, when you are on your feet for 12 hours, comfort is more important. I put these shoes on right out of the box and worked for 12 hours and it felt like I had no shoes on. I will never wear any other shoe to work. This is my third pair.

I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of this shoe based on the reviews, and to my disappointment, I was unable to even get my foot into this shoe! The opening is too small! Not for thick feet!

These are the most comfortable shoes in the world! You will not be disappointed. I have had them in blue and tan and always wanted them in black. And Zappos came through! My new black ones arrived today and they are cushy and supportive right out of the box. They are true to size (I’m a 6 1/2 Medium) and have great arch support. As a New Yorker, I walk in them everywhere - and they are cool looking, too - I am always getting compliments. And they are machine washable - I do it all the time! I cannot thank Zappos enough for carrying this wonderful shoe! Thank you Zappos!

This is my second purchase of this shoe. First pair provided wonderful comfort on a tour to Europe with lots of walking required. These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, and were the perfect choice for my trip.
Got a 2nd pair to have on hand for when the first pair is walked out.

Couldn't do my job without them -
I am 65 years old and had been unemployed for over a year. Took a job where I had to be on my feet and walk a lot and these shoes have been a life saver. Although I am still tired at the end of the day, if I hadn't worn the Propet Wash and Wear Slip-on, I don't think I would have been able to walk when I got out of my car at home!

I have VERY hard to fit feet and these do the trick. In my opinion these are a little sleeker than orthopedic shoes and the service is outstanding. I'll be back for more.

Comfortable shoes!
I have bilateral neuropathy and have a hard time finding a comfortable supportive shoe that does not look like an athletic shoe, until now. These are the most comfortable shoes. They hug my feet with comfortably without squeezing my feet or toes. I am so pleased to have found them.

Propét Wash & Wear Slip-On- Denim Nubuck Sz 9, 2E (Wide): PERFECT FIT! Fast, easy on/off- I hike 6 miles daily in these @ local rugged terrain State Park- through mud, rocks/stones, fallen trees, branches, limbs, over logs, etc. w/ great traction, support, shock absorption & in perfect comfort- my feet feel great all through my hike, at the end too. When they get muddy, I just rinse them under cold water, let air dry overnight, & they are like new again. I've been wearing them 2 years for exercise/activity. I also wear these to bicycle. Propet is the only shoe I've had in my entire life that I can wear from 6 am-11pm in absolute comfort & support all day long- even when my day is really busy, & I take these off at bedtime, my feet still feel energized & great- same thing next am. Boy these sure are ugly though... I usually just wear these hiking/bicycling/on treadmill/etc. I have a few White leather lace-up Propets (walking/running shoes) that look a lot better, but they have the added hassle of laces. This Denim Nubuck color is really a (dindgy) grey-blue, versatile to wear w/ black or blue active wear. I may get a pair in the White (with navy elastic trim collar- Slip-ons) as the white seems to at least give a crisper look. I do notice that this slip-on really provides support which is superior to the lace-up styles. Except for Propets, I always have difficulty getting shoes on when they are closed like this around the ankle/instep. These have a wide, highly flexible but snug elastic band collar around the instep- so don't worry about getting them on, they are very easy to get on. The elastic has NOT broken down over time. LUV PROPETS!

For me, this shoe has a very narrow toe area. I bought the widest available and it tapers so much toward the front that it rubs the sides of toes. Also, the depth of the toe area is very shallow and rubs the top of toes. Shoe is not stretching to ease these pressure points, so if you have wide, swim-fin shaped feet, this isn't the shoe for you.

I have both arthritis & diabetes! I wear these shoes all the time; they are very comfortable and so easy to put on. They really are wash & wear, but I don't use the dryer. I do like the polished leather best. I have four pair. (White, black, white/blue, & Nubuck brown) I've worn this style for about 5 years & I always put a Spenco support in them. The inner lining can be easily removed for using a custom support as well.

Not gonna lie, the ugliest shoes I've ever bought, but comfy -
Needed shoes for a trip that will involve a lot of walking, and I have falling arches and a couple of heel spurs. These have thick soles like sneakers, but look like shoes (shoes from Star Trek, true, but shoes) and will be easy to slip on and off. It was easy to remove the insole and put my orthotics in. I don't know why they put all those seams on the front, which make them look like galoshes, but so they did. There is a knit cuff around the ankle which makes them comfortable right away, no chafing from leather against your skin (I'm not a fan of socks). So if you're looking for great walking shoes and plan on wearing long pants, and if you care more about comfort than appearance while traveling, go for these. I originally got 1/2 size smaller because various reviewers said these run big, but that wasn't true for me and I am wearing my regular size.

Best shoe ever -
I bought my first pair of these shoes two years ago and this fall I got them in another color for fall the two tone rust. For summer I just got another white and I am wanting more colors. The fit is great. The support is excellent and the wear is wonderful. Just wipe off any marks and go. It’s been a great find for me I needed a slip-on and a shoe with good support and this is it! Thank you so much.

These are my all-time favorite shoes!
These are the most comfortable and convenient shoes I have ever worn. I am retired now, and I practically live in these shoes. They look better than tennis shoes. They are so easy to slip on and off, yet they hug my feet snugly for walking. I need additional arch support, and it was easy to remove the one given in the shoe and replace it with my own. I think the all-white and the tan and white versions look best, but I also wear the black a lot when I'm wearing black pants. I've bought several pairs of these shoes in various colors so I won't run out.

The only thing you have to do with this shoe is order it one size smaller and you will have the most fabulous shoe you could ever wear for comfort. And I have a terrible time for comfort for shoes. Have a great day.
