I had these sandals 3 years ago and wore them out. So I went a few years without them because I am rather frugal, (OK, cheap), and $170 for a pair of sandals is a bit much. I broke down after seeing a pair on my sister. They are just so darn cute! I confess, I purchased a black, And a white pair. Not only are they stylish, more importantly they\'re comfortable, and... they go with everything! I figure I will get over 2 summers of wear from these sandals. If I amortize the cost, They are well worth the $.50 cents a day I have to pay. I, my feet, and my wallet love these sandals. Worth every cent!

I adore these shoes. They look classy enough to wear to meetings on hot summer days and fun enough to wear out at night. Plus they are adjustable and feel great, like Mephistos always do.

This shoe just didn\'t work for me on many levels. I probably only wore them 5 times before returning them. The rhinestones started to fall out, but the worst thing was that they made my feet smell. And not just a little. If I had them on, I could smell my feet. I know this is TMI, but I have NEVER had an issue with any other shoe in my life.

The Sydel is a fun sandal that can go lots of places. The black footbed helps to keep it a little dressier looking. It is very comfortable although not quite as supportive as the Hannel but the Hannel is much more casual.

I suffer from ongoing back and knee problems due to flat feet and I can't wear my orthotics here in the Hong Kong summer as it is stinking hot! I purchased these after reading the reviews online and decided despite the cost, to give them a go. I LOVE them the raised instep is enough to give support whilst remaining incredibly comfortable. I have never had a pair of such comfortable shoes and wear them all day indoors and out. I definitely recommend these shoes and as soon as I can swing it by hubby, will be purchasing another pair on another color! I finally have comfort with style!

These are absolutely the best sandals ever! I have them in three colors. They are THE most comfortable and lend enough support so that you can walk all day long in them. And they are attractive enough to wear out to dinner. Perfect for traveling and sight seeing. In addition, they can also be sent back to Mephisto when they start to look ragged. For the price, they will return them to you looking like brand new. I cannot live without my Mephistos. EXTA BONUS: Zappos gets them to you almost as fast as if you bought them from a local store!

These are excellent shoes. Extremely comfortable and fashionable as well. The stylish buckles add a bit of a dressy look to them. They look great with shorts. I used them to walk all over the streets of Spain where there were different types of pavement. You can live in these shoes for hours! Totally worth the price!

These are the most comfortable sandals I own. I have wide feet, so I often have a challenging time finding shoes that fit well. I also have back trouble, so the fact that I wore these sandals so much says a lot. I had my original pair for 2 years and wore them constantly (including a summer trip to Europe where we walked the whole time). I recently bought another pair on Zappos to replace the original ones I had whose soles were losing their tread! I cannot recommend these shoes highly enough. Especially if you have back problems or wide feet, as I do, you will be a happy girl. And they're cute!

This is the most I’ve ever spent on a pair of sandals, but the best investment ever. These shoes in black are the most comfortable, cute, and amazing shoes ever. I wish they had my size in silver and pink... especially when they are on sale. They do run a bit small and narrow, so order up a size. You won’t be sorry!

These are THE most comfortable sandals in the world. I have them in black and red and now white. You can wear them all day and all evening and walk, walk, walk. I just love them.

Most comfortable shoe ever -
I love this shoe, I have it in two colors and due to severe tendonitis in my feet, it's the only shoe I can wear consistently without pain. Mephisto has changed its foot bed in the newer styles and I do wish they'd make more shoes with this foot bed. They also seem to have discontinued the "spice" color which is unfortunate. I've recently bought two more pairs because I'm afraid they may do away with the style all-together. I would LIVE in this shoe if I could.

I love this shoe. I wish they made it in brown. I have long feet and it makes my feet look a lot smaller. Cute rhinestone detail and the black suede covering the entire footbed is a great detail. Excellent arch support and very soft cork footbed.

Fashionable comfort -
This shoe has been out for awhile but when it comes to warm weather you cannot beat its comfort and simple style. I have it in 6 colors. I do wish they would make the silver with the light colored sole as well. The black sole on the silver looks too heavy and limits what you can wear with it. The sole on this sandal is more comfortable than the cork sole on some of the newer styles. Firmer and Better for your back. Mephisto runs small so I always buy a size larger.

My Favorite Shoe -
Even before I developed a severe foot problem I owned 2 pair just because I loved the style and comfort. Now that I have a metatarsal problem with one foot, these are the only shoes I wear. I have five pair in different colors.

I love this shoe for the great arch support. The thin straps and rhinestone buckles keep the sandal looking feminine. I get compliments on this sandal from women of all ages about how cute it looks. I love the adjustable buckles too because I have narrow feet and this gives me a great fit. I have pain in the ball of my foot and this is the most comfortable shoe I own. I can wear it all day. I have Sydel in gold, spice and white also. It looks nice with shorts, slacks and even skirts. I like the patent leather because it just wipes clean. The rest of the sandal wears great too.

Mephisto Sandals - Great Look -
Just about every time I wear these sandals, I get a comment from someone about how "cute" they are. For my narrow foot, they are extremely comfortable because I can adjust the straps to accommodate an AA width. Also, the arch support in this show is phenomenal. I have three pair of them!

My favorite sandal -
This is my second pair and I know there will be more to follow. This is the most comfortable shoe I have in my closet. I have a narrow foot and this shoe can be adjusted to fit me very well.

Fantastic Sandal -
Love this shoe...have three different colors. I was disappointed with the Silver shoe. Only because the Silver wore off in patches. Just after the first week. The Black Patent and White have been awesome!! Many compliments from other people. I wear these shoes day in and day out... they are sooo comfortable. I have a lot of problems with my feet and these shoes have been fantastic!!! Thanks to Mephisto and to Zappos for their great service!!!

Silver Sydel -
I love the feel and look of these shoes; I do get A LOT of compliments. They are extremely comfortable and I have feet that hurt - they don't hurt in these and I can wear them all day. My only complaint is after wearing them for only a couple of months the silver is worn off in many places. For the price of the shoe I think the color should hold up much better than it does. Otherwise great shoe and I may order them in black for next summer and see how that holds up compared to the silver. I also take very good care of my shoes as I usually buy expensive ones and so I am pretty disappointed in the silver wearing off.

Just a little glitzy!
I enjoy wearing these sandals because they can be casual or dressy. They have wonderfully delicate rhinestone buckles. They have the comfortable Mephisto's fit that makes it easy to wear these sandals all day everyday if I wanted. I can easily recommend these delightful shoes to all.

Is it sick to love a shoe? I LOVE THIS SHOE! There, I said it. Seriously, best feeling shoes I've worn in my entire life. And they are cute too! I own this shoe in 3 colors...black, red, silver. I get TONS of compliments whenever I wear them. I wish Mephisto made other non-sandal shoes using this same exact last. If they did, I'd buy even more of their shoes!

At last...
After searching, ordering, trying a multitude of comfortable walking shoes with no success, I tried Zappos and found this pair of Mephisto. At last a wonderful walking shoe that actually fits! The shoes are medium but the adjustable straps fit my narrow foot. It was comfortable the moment I slipped it on and for 12 days in Italy... day and night. The perfect shoe!

Look nice, feel uncomfortable -
Nice looking shoe with very uncomfortable straps. The leather on the straps is so hard; I doubt it would get comfortable with wear. The foot bed is very comfy though. Because of the rough leather on the straps, I could not wear it longer than 5 minutes, so I had to return it.

 |  | I want to personally thank all of you for sending my shoes standard overnight, even though I opted for UPS ground shipping. I only had one pair of black oxfords and they became unglued after doing some yard work. I have black jeans and clothes to wear them with, and needed these shoes very badly. My sister was dismissed from her job two months ago and I have been paying all of the house bills and mortgage by myself, and did not have the extra money for an overnight shipment, so thank you for going 50 extra miles and doing that for me.
