Nice Shoes!
I received my Frye mules today and am very, very disappointed that one of the shoes was too stretched out, as if someone with a much larger size foot had tried it on and returned it. The shoe felt like it was very loose and would fall off my foot. The shoe that *wasn't* stretched out, fit great, the color (chestnut) is really perfect. Both shoes were marked 8.5. I ordered a 1/2 size down like other reviewers recommended and feel that this was perfect (normally, I'm a size 9). Zappos is a great website and their customer service is the BEST! Would definitely reorder from them again.

Frye Harness Mule is good-looking but...
Man, is it a heavy shoe! I will be returning it for this reason. It feels great when you slip your foot into it, but the weight of it makes it diffucult to walk around in. Too bad because it is sharp looking.

Frye Belted Harness Mule-
I must say after reading the reviews… I did order a half size smaller and sure enough they fit perfect...I do not agree that they are heavy… There just a good man made shoe. And I also think that once you get use to wearing Mules you'll feel like your wearing slippers... Good for New England weather.
I usually wear a 9 and order an 8 1/2. I got a lot of compliments on these that I'm ordering another pair in a different color… Even the shoe store I go to was impressed... Thanks again for Zappos fast service.

Beautiful-
This shoe is really beautiful; however, I'm not sure yet if it's a keeper. The fit is good, maybe a tad loose, (I ordered my normal size.) but it's quite heavy and hard to keep on. I wish I could find this same style in a boot. Now THAT would be a keeper!

Frye's Cute Mule-Boot -
Frye makes wonderful boots, and this mule looks just like one except for missing the shaft. They are high quality and everything I've come to expect from Frye, except for the sizing.
I wear a size 10, in most other brands sizing as well as Frye's boots. But the size 10 mule was way too big for me. Since Zappos didn't have the 9.5 or 9 in stock, I tried an 8 which was too small. So I would say these shoes definitely run a size large.

Great Shoe!
After reading all the reviews, I ordered this shoe to go with jeans/weekend clothes. It's a very impressive shoe, very well made, and I received many compliments on it. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit this well - I have a very high instep and wide feet and this works wonders. I ordered a half-size down and it fits great. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

Great Workmanship on these.
I was impressed with the interior of these shoes. Well made and finished. They felt supportive for mules. They run longer in the stated size. I wear an 11 normally and got a 10. I think I could have even gone to a 9 1/2. I have long toes and there is plenty of room for 'em. I am a B width and these felt good. Just enough room for a mid weight warm sock for winter. For someone with a wider foot, or a high instep they might be a little tight. They are heavy but very stable. Great with jeans.

I first ordered this shoe in a size 7 which is my normal size. I really loved this shoe so ordered it one half size down. Fits great...with or without socks. Looks cool, too!! Not too masculine with nice cords or jeans. I recommend this Frye Mule.

I've been wearing Frye's for 30 years. They have the best made footwear I've ever found. These mules are perfect with jeans or pants in the summer heat. A bit clunky if you're not use to boots, but comfortable from day one. I have wide toes and a narrow heel and my new mules needed no breaking in time. I wore them all day at work, no blisters! J.J. This shoes are better than the picture. They run large. I ordered my normal size and had to send it back for the next smaller whole size.

This is a quality mule with an awesome look that is perfect for jeans. My only complaint is that they are rather heavy. Also, I feel they are somewhat pricey..but in terms of quality construction (in this case) you get what you pay for.

I read all reviews on these shoes. And ordered myself a pair. Love these mules. Looks great with jeans. And wanted to sincerely thank Zappos for sending quickly without even asking. Zappos is the only place I buy shoes and boots. Zappos zapped them right to my house and then on my feet. Thank you so much Zappos.

Although it's summer and I haven't really worn these yet, I know I will love them! They are so cute and seem to run true to size. And as always, Zappos service is SO unbelievably good and fast! Cannot beat them!!!!

These are very comfortable and well made shoes. They do run a half size large but I knew that and ordered a 91/2 rather than my usual size 10.
These are fabulous with jeans for that casual cowboy boot look but are much easier to get on and off the feet.

WOW!!!! two thumbs and ten toes up!
I don't think I've ever been this impressed with a shoe right out of the box. I've been wearing them all day! I just love them. Extremely comfortable! These feel completely natural on my feet. No pinch, no pressure anywhere, no stickiness even without socks, and they look fabulous. I have a pair of Frye 8-R Harness boots in black, for riding, which are beautiful and great quality and a pleasure to wear, but aren't anywhere near as comfortable or form-fitting as these mules. I also usually have trouble with any shoe without a back slipping off my feet, but these stay on like they are part of my foot. I could not be more pleased. and, they arrived overnight with no special shipping on my part, thanks to Zappos usually top-notch service.

Worth my dollars.
First, this shoe is well constructed. Second, it's roomy, yet narrow across the toe. I will need to break-in these babies. These are not for work because they are heavy. I wear a 7 in Frye's and I ordered a 7 1/2, to ensure that my heel wouldn't hang over. No chance of that. 7 1/2 was too large, ordered 7. Nice comfortable fit. I really wanted the chestnut color, but I ordered what was available in my size as these shoes are hard to get! Couldn't really decide if I found them attractive, decided with slacks on they looked cool and they look like boots. It's kind of fun knowing that it's a mule with the silver hardware. I'm feeling like I'll indulge myself with the chestnut shade. These mules/clogs are well worth the money.

worth every cent...
These are great shoes. They are worth every cent.
I do have to mention that I wear a size 8 1/2 or 9 in other shoes but size 7 1/2 in these shoes.
Zappos.com sent them in 2 days and make it easy to return if needed.
