Terrific clogs! They look great with jeans and are very comfortable. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9; ordered the 8 1/2 in these clogs and still put an insert in the one with my smaller foot. That works great!

Zappos exceeded my expectations. I had a difficult time locating this particular pair of shoes in local stores. I found them on Zappos and placed my order. The ordering process was easy and the shoes arrived within two days. Unfortunately, the shoes ran just a little too big and I had to exchange for a smaller size. I contacted customer service and they were outstanding. I received the new shoes the following day.

These shoes are a nice alternative to a full Frye boot. Very sturdy. Comfortable to wear, except for where it hits my little toe on the side but only after I've worn them a few hours. These shoes make my feet look longer because of the toe; great under pants, but not necessarily easy to wear with a skirt and tights.

I am in love! I have lusted over the Frye boots since high school. Unable to afford them, I forgot about them. Now, all grown up and able to finally splurge I decided, why not? I haven't regretted the decision since. As many have said, they are heavy, and do require a little breaking in, but after the second wear, I am finding it hard to put them back into the box. Got the mules, now its time for the harness boot! Buy them; it is a good investment in yourself and your wardrobe as these will never go out of style!

My first pair of Fryes and I love them! I have a high arch and normally wear a size 7 in shoes and a 7.5 in boots. I went with the 7s and they fit perfect. A little snug on the first day, but stretched out & felt great the 2nd day. I have been wearing Dansko clogs and I like these much better. I live in the country and am always turning my ankle on the uneven ground in the Danskos; these Fryes are much more stable. I also like the look of these, much sexier than the Danskos. I got the Tan crazy Horse color. I really like it; they go with everything. I might have to get a black pair.

This is a great mule and looks really good with jeans. They are a very heavy shoe, but I still like them. I had to return the 7.5 and get a size 7 instead. They run long and narrow. Even with a thick sock I had to order a half size down. They are more comfortable as you break them in and wear them.

Beautifully made leather boot. They are heavy, though. You need to want to throw your weight around to wear these, but they absolutely do the trick with great Levis jeans. It's a classic, and will turn heads. Fit is narrow and long.

Lovin' these mules. Frye makes the very best boots. They look great, feel great, wear great. Now they have the mules. I have two colors and bought my daughter a pair as well. They look fantastic with jeans. Wearing them just makes the leather look better. No problems with rain, slush or snow. They are just plain fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about Zappos. I have my whole family on board! Customer service, shipping, selection - all A+. Can't imagine buying shoes anywhere else!

I am still breaking in these shoes. I ordered a half size smaller than normal. They fit with a heavy sock, but since it’s summer...I ordered a whole size smaller also. They fit well with no sock. Love the style and the feel. They have a thick leather lining. They remind me of the Frye boots I had 35 years ago! The boot style looks the same.

These are beautifully made shoes and I am sure will last for ever! I love the style. They are quite heavy and ideally I would love a bit more bounce in the soles as I am striding sidewalks not prairies! I was very impressed by the service and speed of delivery as I was ordering from the UK. The person I spoke to from Zappos was charming and helpful. My only worry was because I am overseas I couldn't return the goods if there was a problem. Luckily they are great.

Awesome look, but very heavy -
I absolutely loved the look of the Frye's Belted Harness Mule, I had to have them. However, the first pair was too sloppy so I did as suggested and got a size smaller. They fit much better, but I must be honest, I do not think the shoe is very comfortable and they are VERY HEAVY! I hope they break in and become more comfortable because I do love the way they look.

Great look and feel -
This is my first pair of fryes and I have to say I really am enjoying them. After struggling with trying to find knee-high boots all winter (returning about $1000 worth of boots, only to discover that I have large calves) I have given up. I purchased these as a consolation and am so glad I did. I am still getting used to the low back to the shoe, but I really like the shoes. They are a little heavy as some folks have said, but I have gotten used to that. Also, they really do stretch out so definitely size down. I wear a 6 and got the 5 1/2 and they fit perfect the 2nd time I wore them. I would recommend wearing them around inside the first time just to get used to the fit and weight.

Love these Frye mules...
Talk about a wonderful mule. The first time I wore them to work with a casual outfit; I got more comments than any other pair of shoes I have worn. And I have lots of shoes! Very comfortable out of the box, and not as heavy as I expected. They look so good!

This is a terrific looking shoe and it is made in the USA! My only reservation is that it is on the narrow side. I am still trying to break them in. If you have a medium or narrow shoe and are looking for a great shoe to wear with jeans, this is it.

LOVE LOVE, LOVE THESE SHOES!!!
I'd wanted these for awhile... I love the look of a boot, but the ease of a mule. They are HOT! After reading about the sizing, I ordered a 6.5 instead of a 7 and that works perfectly for me. And Zappos had them to me in 24 hours. I totally recommend them and Zappos for all your shoe needs!

I have wide feet, which normally means I have trouble wearing Frye shoes. These are an exception. I can get my feet into them and be basically comfortable all day. They leather is gorgeous. The shoe is cool. I love them.

I purchased the 1/2 size smaller based on most of the reviews. I have narrow feet so the mules fit just perfect. I have gotten quite a few compliments on the mules. Definitely worth the price paid.

I love the style of these mules. Recommend ordering a half size smaller than you wear. I found them to be comfortable after worn a couple of time; however, they are a little heavy and take some getting use to. I'll probably purchase them in black. Well worth the money, a quality mule.

Weird heel strap, but cute!
I love these shoes. They were so comfortable from the minute I tried them on, although the heel strap doesn't have enough holes to adjust it for my narrow ankles.
Because I have high arches, the front-inside edge of the shoe pushes against my inner arch, but I think that will loosen up as I wear them. I wear a wide 9.5 or a 10 M usually, but the 9.5 M fits me easily.
I love the Chestnut color, but it is orangeier than it appears online. The shoes seem very durable, and they look great with boot-cut jeans.

Love these mules!
I have always loved these shoes and finally ordered a pair in black and one in brown. They look great with jeans and have just enough heel to give me some height (I'm 5' 1"). They are heavy, but I got used to it. I've had them a month and am still breaking them in. There is a pressure point on the side of the large toe and where the top of the strap meets the foot. A little uncomfortable, but I know they will eventually mold to my foot. I did order a 1/2 size smaller (I wear a 7, ordered 6 1/2) and I'm glad I did. They fit perfect in length. The toe rub might be because of that or because the boot is narrow at the toe. Glad I bought them and Zappos service is always exceptional.
