Awesome shoe!!! I was looking for a light workout shoe with enough padding that the corns on my feet didn't keep coming back, and I found it! This shoe is great, very comfortable and can run, dance, whatever in it right out of the box. I'm going to get more of these!

I LOVE this shoe - I am on my 3rd pair of these gems. They are great for easy on/off and they look SO cute - with workout clothes, jeans, denim skirt, trousers, everything. I do not wear them for aerobics classes because they are not supportive enough but I wear them everywhere else! I have the same issue as everyone else with the wimpy Velcro but I just put the sticky backed Velcro on when the factory Velcro fails and they are good as new. Since I do not wear socks with them, I take my usual size. If you plan to wear socks, you might want a 1/2 size up. Also, these easily fit an orthotic! Get em - you'll love them!

Easy on and off -
I bought these shoes to wear after I had hand surgery and knew I wouldn't be able to tie my walking shoes with one hand. They are perfect! I can put them on easily, they are very comfortable, and they work well for power walking. Plus, they look good for wearing with casual clothes.

Love my Rykas -
I commute to downtown Chicago via the train, so I wanted some walking shoes to and from the train station to the office. These are fabulous! So comfortable! I usually wear a 6 1/2, but needed a 7. Otherwise, they are great!

Pros and Cons -
I LOVE the look of these shoes, and it's hard to find attractive shoes that are not leather, which I do not use. I ordered my size, 8 1/2, to begin, and the fit was too snug. Returned them and bought size 9, which is long enough but the strap over the top of the foot is not sufficiently long for the hook and loop fastener to stay closed. The strap itself has edges that are rough against the foot (even with socks) when walking. The footbed removes nicely for us orthotic wearers, but the shoe does not accommodate the orthotic as well as some. I do have to say kudos! To Zappos for their fast and impeccable customer service!!

Great shoe -
This will be my second pair of these shoes. I use them for walking, working out; I brought them on a recent trip to China and wore them more than any other shoe. Some days I would be walking, sightseeing for 10 hours and they were very comfortable.

Black Ryka Mary Janes -
These shoes were really comfortable when I wore them on a long day of walking around Paris but by the end of the day, my feet were feeling a little tight. For long walks, I like my Ecco sandals so much better. But they look great and I'll definitely wear them a lot.

Very comfy -
This is a great shoe, a little funky though! I usually take a size 8.5 and I needed the 9 to accommodate my bigger foot, but I can also fit an extra shock absorbing sole in there which I needed in the left foot as I am healing from a stress fracture in my right foot. I would not work out in it, but certainly it is great to walk around all day.

I have been wearing my new Ryka to work (as a nurse---12+hour shifts) and they have been so comfortable. My feet and legs feel so much better!!! The only thing I would change is to make them all leather or micro fiber in order to comply with most nursing uniform requirements. I love the way they look and feel. They are really cute! I am planning to get another pair to wear outside work! Ryka makes a great product, I have another pair to exercise in. I love their fit!!!!

I love the comfort of these shoes. This is my second pair because the velcro wore out after many months of use. I find the style is very versatile, so I wear them a lot.

This is one of the most comfortable pair of athletic shoes I have ever bought. I put it on and was on the go. At the end of the day, my feet only ached a little compared to other shoes. I love the fact that they are so easy to get on and off. Just a few cons, they are a little wide across the ball and instep of my foot and gapped. If you have a high arch like I do, I had to pull the strap a little tighter and the strap really cut (an actual cut) into my foot. Nothing a band aid couldn't fix though. This was the only breaking in I had. Order a half larger. This Ryka ran smaller than other brands. This is a great shoe and would definitely buy again.

Velcro won’t stick -
I have 3 pairs and the velcro stops working, so I just went and bought strips and machine stitched them on top of the old velcro and better than new. It has been months with new velcro and still sticking.

For someone who does not like to wear tennis shoes, this is the perfect alternative - it is comfortable as well as attractive for casual wear. I normally wear a wide width shoe; however, the medium in this shoe fits fine. My only complaint would be that the strap across the top could be just a little bit longer.

Love this shoe-very comfortable. I own 3 pair. I agree-the velcro isn't the greatest. Easy to fix, I purchased adhesive velcro squares and stuck them on top of the velcro on the shoes and it worked great.

This shoe does not have any arch support. For women with high arches, the velcro does not hold and will pop open when you walk. Ryka needs to lengthen the strap and add arch support to make these comfortable.

Love this shoe...except the velcro -
I've had the same issue as many others, the weak velcro fastener. It's a shame because otherwise this is about my favorite shoe and I have many, lol! It's one of only a few pair that I can wear comfortably all day at work on my feet, plus they look really cute. I have size 10 feet with extremely high arches and long toes. My heels are short so it's hard to find a shoe that accommodates the front half of my feet without slipping off my heels, and is cushioned enough to wear all day as I have foot issues due to my high arches, and previous ankle surgery. These shoes do it all and the style minimizes the length of my feet. Just wish they'd fix the stupid velcro!!!

Great Shoe for the most part -
I have had these shoes for 9 months now and they were worn 4-6 days a week for working out and a couple of days for casual purposes. These shoes are very comfortable but after about 6 months I had to start pulling the velcro much tighter on the right shoe because it was wearing down. Now the velcro on that shoe will not stay closed for more than a few minutes of walking.
Overall I feel that I got my money out of these shoes and I'm actually about to order a new pair in black.

Don't get the black!
I received two pairs of Ryka Mary Jane, one black and one dove gray and blue. The gray and blue pair fits perfect, feel so good, so comfortable. I should have returned the black, they are marked size 8 1/2, but they seem to be about 1/2 size smaller, and are not comfortable, and I've tried stretching them. I can't wear these very long. I should have returned them.

I own two pairs of these shoes and love the look and fit! I have foot problems and Ryka are the best fitting shoes I have found if I wear additional support in the heal and arch.
I have a major complaint with the velcro on this style however. After about 8 weeks of wear the velcro just stopped holding. I now have to wear a paper clip over the velco on the strap in order to keep them shut. The velcro will not hold at all! It surprises me that after all the bad reviews on the velcro for this shoe, Ryka has not replaced it with a sturdier version. I have owned velcro strapped shoes before that held like they were welded, and they were Ryka!
If you don't mind the poor Velcro quality buy the shoes. If you find it annoying like I do...don't buy them. Go for another pair of Rykas.

Cute shoes, but Velcro would not close -
Cute shoes, I wear them with my dark blue jeans on campus and pair them off with white socks, lots of compliments on how perfect them look. They do! But the velcro got loose like in the 3rd month or so! Had to have to close the velcro over and over again. Whatever, I'll just stitch another velcro over it and they'll hold. Aside from the great looking design, the loosening velcro is the only problem. I suggest sewing your own velcro over Ryca's.

Great service!
These Ryka Versa Mary Jane shoes fit better than we have ever experienced, and they remain comfortable, even on long walks. While they are a little hot on a hot day, they are wonderfully comfortable.
