Nice looking ok fit, not very durable -
I bought these shoes about 7 months ago and have worn them about 4 days per week since then. They were a bit tight at first, but loosened up pretty quickly (I do have wide feet). The leather has held up well with regular care. However, the leather on the bottom of the heel "mushroomed" right above the rubber sole such that it wasn't flush with the rest of the heel anymore. This happened on both shoes and now the rubber soles are separating from the shoe on the outside edge where the shoe flexes. I live in the city and walk a bit, but probably no more than a mile a day. So I am disappointed with this shoe. However, my other pair of J&M shoes have been great.

Great looking dress shoe. So-so on comfort -
They look great, hold up well, but aren't as comfy as other J&Ms I have. Still, for a nice set of dress shoes, I like them.

I bought these shoes to match an all black suit I wore to a wedding. They looked great! These are the type of shoes you can wear with jeans and a button down or with a suit. They are incredibly comfortable.

I ordered these shoes expecting the same feel as my other 2 pairs of Johnston and Murphy’s but unfortunately they did let me down a bit. While they look great and aren’t all that uncomfortable to wear, I find that these are a little too narrow for my foot (only in the toe) and lack the padding in the sole that I have come to expect from J+M shoes. Zappos as always was great and I would say that if you aren’t going to be doing a lot of standing or walking, this is a great pair of shoes.

LOVE these shoes -
These shoes fit like slippers... most comfortable shoes I have worn. I highly recommend them (worth the extra money you might have to pay).

Squeaks -
Shoe quality and look is great, but I found that this shoe squeaks on carpeted surfaces, but not on hard pavement.
