I am a care giver for the elderly. I stand on my feet all day. I have heel spurs. By the end of the day my feet are tired from standing, unavoidable. But my heel spurs no longer bother me. Great shoe. And the Zappos service can't be beat. For one reason or another (my fault completely, nothing wrong with the shoes) I needed to exchange the shoes twice before I settled on one. The company stuck right with me until I had the shoe I was happy with. And service could not have been quicker nor more pleasant and helpful. It would have taken me longer to make time to go to the shoe store myself, even with the exchanges.

This is my 5th pair of Earth shoes. My last pair are wearing out. This is my second pair of Earth Energetic sneakers and that speaks for a pair of happy feet. I hate having toes squinched and these have great wiggle room. The shoes also keep my posture straight, being Earth, and counteract the effects of long hours sitting at a desk or driving. I hope to keep buying these shoes in the future!

Earth Energetic shoes. This is my second pair of Energetics, so you can probably guess that I'm a fan of this shoe. Not so much from a style perspective, I think tennis shoes in general are ugly, but the comfort is great. The negative heel technology alleviates the lower back and foot pain I get from wearing a typical tennis shoe. I really like the extra work out they give my calves. A great shoe in my book. And as always, superb service from Zappos!

Earth Energetic shoes have been most helpful to me while taking care of horses in and out of the barn. Number one, they are extremely comfortable, waterproof, and washable. My feet are problematic. Finding comfortable supportive shoes is a nightmare, so I was surprised to put them on and have actual comfort. They are a mainstay for me now, and hopefully will never go out of production.

What a difference -
I walked for 3 hours at a mall yesterday in another pair of athletic shoes and my feet and legs were in a lot of pain. So much so I could barely walk. I decided to put these on again and oh my! My feet and legs feel so much better. I ordered another pair of Earth shoes and will be getting rid of the other athletic shoes. They may be a bit pricey but the way they make your feet feel is worth it. I had no problem getting used to the negative heel.

I have lower back problems and no matter what style Earth shoe I buy, it helps ease the pain tremendously.

Sore Heels -
This is my second pair of Earth Energetics. The first pair I ordered were the pink ones and I do not remember a break in period with them, they were fine from the start, these I am having some trouble getting there, they seem a bit stiffer and my right heel has suffered because of it. I hope to get them broken in without too much more broken skin. I even convinced my mom to get some and she is having the same issue.

Earth energetic shoe -
Love the comfort and durability of this shoe...This is my 3rd pair...it is the only athletic/walking shoe that I wear and Zappos is awesome in their selection, delivery and follow-up.

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for several years, and this shoe is the only way for me to go in athletic shoes. (I wear Earth "day" shoes almost every day.) No more heel or arch pain!

I have to say I have never had the great service I experienced with Zappos. The Energetic Earth shoe is extremely comfortable, energizing and very supportive. Also, I had been suffering from a very painful problem with Mortons Neuroma, this shoe stopped the pain totally when wearing this shoe and lessened the pain unbelievably when I do not. The only thing I have a problem with is that on the third day they made a very noticeable squeaking sound which of course continues on.

What can I say? These are great comfortable sneakers. I bought another pair last year and loved them. The new ones seem a little narrower but still comfortable. Great arch support!

Worried at first but now rewarded!
I waited to write my review until I had spent several days in my shoes and could honestly evaluate this product for someone else. I have to say...I love them. I walk 3.5 miles each day and from the first day they were comfortable and sized correctly. I wear an 8-8.5, size up if you are unsure, that is what I did. One thing I did notice for the first couple of days I was almost "motion sick" but after that, I didn't notice any further effects. My legs did feel like they had had a "harder workout" and the only difference was the shoes. I would recommend this product; so far they are worth the price tag.

Great Arch Support! Ended Heel Pain!
As a nurse staying on my feet for 12 hr shifts finding a good shoe is quite the treasure. I hit gold with this one. I've been troubled with heel pain for several years & have tried Birkenstock, Danskos, & numerous athletic shoes. The negative heel & wonderful arch support in this shoe has totally taken away my heel pain. It may take a little time to get used to the negative heel but now I'm a total convert. I also have 4 pairs of Earth sandals that have taken me on many vacations & shopping excursions without pain or achy feet. Now if Earth could only make some of their other shoes more attractive...I wouldn't buy other brands!

Earth Energetic Shoes -
Having several problems with my feet, I've tried several types of shoes for comfort. The earth shoes have always been good for me. I was thrilled to find an Earth Gym Shoe. I work out and then continue on my day so this is perfect for my needs.

Not Quite Right -
I really love Earth shoes, and I immediately thought of them when I needed a new shoe for work. I'm on my feet all day, and I really need arch support for my high instep. Unfortunately the stores in my area who carry Earth shoes had no sneaker style shoes for me to try on, so I ordered three pair off of Zappos--this, the Pacific and the Vata. Of the three, I liked this one the least. The arch support is *hard*, to the point where it almost hurt. I'm sure I could've gotten used to it had it been my only option, but I much preferred the other two to this one. Still, it's a great sneaker, well-made with good ventilation and the classic Earth shoe fit: negative heel, lots of arch support, and a very spacious toe box. I love ‘em; it's just that the Energetic wasn't my favorite.

I like the shoes -
They take some getting used to, but help with posture and a more athletic walk. My wife, who had back surgery, returned her pair as they strained her back. I kept mine.

Reliving my childhood -
I loved my earth shoes growing up so was excited when I found out that they still make them. I am enjoying the Energetic's that I bought. Looking forward to buying more shoes.

Love these!
This is my first pair of Earth shoes. I'm on my feet all day and walk for the majority of my shift. These are extremely comfortable and the backs of my legs felt tighter just after two weeks. They are not the most attractive sneakers (but I wear a size 10). Will be shopping for another pair soon!

The shoe was exactly as advertised, they fit perfectly, and they are very comfortable. I have a bad knee and the shoe helps relieve the pain.

Though I got a little blister on the side of my heel/ankle where the back contour hits my foot, when I first wore them, they are fine now.
You can feel your calf and thigh muscles work as you walk...I'm thinking of trying a casual shoe pair too! I like this brand...

Surprising Athletic Shoe -
Although I love my Earth Shoe sandals, I doubted whether Earth Shoes would make good athletic wear. Happily, I was wrong. These shoes offer excellent arch support and the comfort of Earth Shoes but are also great walking, running and exercising shoes.
