Earth shoes are the only shoes I can wear (having plantar fasciitis), and the Pacific are the only tennis shoes. The heel counter is lower than in the Energetic and so doesn\'t grab the back of the ankle. I wear a 7B, and these fit perfectly, with ideal arch support.

I wanted to love these shoes, but they were just too narrow for my feet. I tried a 5.5 and a 6.5. I couldn\'t even get the 5.5 on at all. The 6.5 was a very tight fit. They seemed like they would have been very comfortable if they had not been so narrow. I liked the negative heel and really wish I could find wide widths in this style.

I was very excited about getting these shoes. I typically take a narrow, but thought I would try these out anyway. They are very bulky around the ankle due to the thick padding around the ankle. The arch support was also a little too much and hurt. I was disappointed, but have ordered a different pair.\r\n\r\n

Purchased these shoes to help with my foot pain. On my feet 10 hours a day and have try many manufacturers. These are by far the best. Great arch support, comfortable footbed. No more pain at the end of the day..

SO comfortable!
I have been in the market for a great shoe for walking. I tried two different pairs of MBTs, but they were very, very uncomfortable for me. No matter how tight I laced them, I would get terrible blisters in my heels. So I tried the Earth Pacific and the comfort and fit is awesome! This shoe is a million times more comfortable than an MBT shoe. MBTs are really heavy and these are not, and this particular model (Pacific) is super cushiony. If you have problem feet like I do and get blisters every time you walk or exercise in them, this is the shoe for you!

Earth Pacific -
I am a nurse working full time in the operating room and have been wearing this shoe for more than seven years. Originally I selected it to help me deal with back pain. With that issue resolved, I have continued wearing Pacific because of the extreme comfort, they are easy to clean, and they are in keeping with our dress code. I buy them two pair at a time, and alternate days wearing them, which helps extend their life!

Great (if only it were wider at instep)-
I love these shoes, but I wish they were wider in the forefoot. They are the only ones I wear now, having fixed plantar fasciitis with them...they are so much better than orthotics used in a shoe with any arch (however, I do use orthotics in flat slippers).

Shoe for Good Back Support -
Earth Shoes were recommended to me by my physical therapist, who has been leading me toward a better functioning upper back and neck through improved postural work. I find now that "regular" shoes feel uncomfortable. I found Pacific an excellent walking shoes because I have a narrow heel and, unlike some of the other shoes I tried, it does not slip when laced tightly. My only wish is that the shoes were made of slightly better/thicker leather.

Although my left foot is still swollen after surgery, the shoe felt wide. And this is a lotta, LOTTA shoe! I'm not quite understanding the notion of so much padding around the ankle. It's like having dual-side airbags.... Since I have fond memories of wearing them back in the day, I would love to fall in love with Earth shoes, but Pacific is not going to do it for me. Thanks to Zappos, I'll keep trying.

Very comfortable but can't give 5 Stars -
These shoes were replacing a pair of Earth Energetics that didn't hold up like I wanted. The shoes are very comfortable, true to size and have great support. What I don't like about them is they are not very durable for the price. When you pay this much for a pair of shoes you expect them to hold up. What happens in the gray coloring on the soles starts wearing off almost immediately. I've never had shoes do that before. It's as if they paint the gray on over the white sole. I've had these only a few weeks and it has already started to happen to the left shoe. I like them because of the fit and comfort - that I would give 5 stars - durability gets about 3 stars.

Tongue Too Long -
After reading other reviews, I ordered a half size larger and these shoes fit perfectly. My correct size, 9.5, would have been too small. However, I'm returning them because the tongue (yes, padded) hits & bumps the front of my ankle and I find it very uncomfortable.

This shoe is my fourth pair of Kalso Earth's and I love them! After wearing these to work a couple of days (in a busy elementary school) my behind and hamstrings let me know they had been worked. I suffer with degenerative disc disease and arthritis in my lower back and neck. The Earth brand helps me maintain a healthy posture and I do not feel physically fatigued at the end of the day. I don't really care much about the slightly clunky look because I am all about comfort, and these shoes have that.

I love the earth pacific ~ it has a soft leather feel and is very comfy ~ I taught and coached for many years and I just wish I'd have know about the earth athletic shoes then. I will not buy another brand of work-out/athletic shoes!!! These are great ~ no break-in time involved, and no blisters!

Love this shoe -
This is my 2nd pair; first pair lasted about a year exercising every day. The arch support does not feel extreme but because of the way it is distributed it is more supportive than other brands that feel like they have more arch support and is more comfortable. These shoes eliminated pain in my feet, legs, and hips (I wear almost only Earth shoes anymore). My feet are pretty unstable on their own. My podiatrist told me "there is only so much you can do with custom orthotics". The Pacific is much better for me than custom orthotics put into other brands of athletic shoe -- the heel ends up being too high and it just causes pain. I got these instead of the other Earth models because the description sounded like they might have a stronger more stable shank; it's hard to tell for sure.

Earth pacific in white -
After reading several reviews decided on the pacific I have had the other 2 kinds of earth shoes the energizer and I love the rocket but needed a shoe that did not have mesh in the uppers. I received the shoe in one day and they were a perfect fit. I am a nurse and on my feet all day so have been having pain in my feet and knees, I feel the earth shoes are perfect for this kind of work and have helped relieve the pain and strengthen my calves and hamstrings.

Love this brand -
I walk to work and walk for exercise, about five miles daily. I have this shoe in white and love the fit. With winter here, I wanted a shoe that wouldn't show how many mud puddles I'd been through, so I picked the black. It works. The "Earth" brand is the only shoe for me and Zappos is the place I buy them, always, fast and friendly service.

Great walking shoes from the first wearing -
The shoes are super comfortable. No breaking in time. I ordered half size larger which I normally do for walking shoes and they were perfect. I put in my orthotic and took out the insole.

Good walking shoe -
I have both hallux rigidus and arthritis in the joint of my big toe...so finding ANY shoe that feels comfortable is like finding the needle in a haystack. Unfortunately, I continue to be mostly frustrated and disappointed when trying on shoes, but these shoes were an exception to the rule. I wanted a functional, comfortable, non-aggravating walking shoe, and this pair of Earth Shoes were IT. For my foot condition, I tried them against Spira, and it was hands down Earth Shoes. They take the pressure off of my forefoot with the roomier toe box. These shoes are not new to me, I wore them in the mid-70's...but have to say, they've come a long way. Wish I could wear a cuter style (not a big fan of all-white shoes)...but oh well, it's the fit that counts. The only negative with them is that the heel slopes in slightly (back towards the ankle) so it has a slight tendency to rub, but all in all, it's a really good shoe. Great arch support for those with a higher arch, and the sole is very stabilizing for those who over-pronate.

Earth Pacific (white butter calf) - great walking shoe -
This is my 6th pair of Earth shoes. I'm quite happy with Pacific so far (owned for 1 month); it's a plain nice looking white leather sneaker, it doesn't make my foot look big (I wear an 8 wide) and it is VERY comfortable on my regular 2 mile walks. I have wide feet (think EE) with very high arch and instep and I have chronic lower back pain issues so the Earth brand has worked wonders for me. I got these to replace my 3 year old Earth Energetic sneakers. Energetic was wider in the toe box and looked like a visibly much bigger shoe than Pacific. Energetic was also part leather and part mesh fabric (great breathability, but much less easy to keep clean and white). My only (minor) complaint with Energetic was that the foam padding on the inside of the heel ripped and wore out fairly quickly (but that didn't keep me from using them for 3 years). The Energetic (white leather) is a comfy walking shoe, big looking, wide toe box, good ventilation, heel foam wore out too quickly. Zappos itself gets 5 stars from me, too. They don't always have the absolute cheapest price, however, prices are competitive and you get a great value considering all the perks: shopping from home, free two way shipping, shoes usually arrive next day, returns are super easy, and the customer service is excellent.

Best walking shoes for me!
This is my second pair of Earth Pacific walking shoes. I love the negative heel technology since I tend to push my toes into the end of the shoe, and this technology prevents that from occurring.

I was having problems with my feet and tried insoles before I found these shoes. They are great and as soon as I put them on, they are comfortable right from the beginning. I'm 59 years old and some aches and pains are starting, but not for my feet. Love your shoes.

This is my 4th pair of Earth shoes and I have loved them all. I ordered this pair for work, due to heel and back pain from standing on concrete floors all day long. My heels had started getting sharp numbing pain, and I have always had back problems due to my left leg being slightly shorter than my right leg and having to wear a heel lift, plus I have slight scoliosis. I went through several pairs of shoes and these are by far the only pair that I can now comfortably wear for work. I gave the look 4 stars simply because they are not "cute" shoes so to speak, but they don't look bad either. I am required to wear a uniform for work, which also requires solid black shoes. The Earth Pacific felt more true to size than the other Earth shoes that I have. In the past I have typically worn a size 9, my other Earth shoes have required me to get a size 8.5, but the Earth Pacific required a size 9. Earth shoes have definitely healed my heel pain and have helped my back problems also. Everyone's body is made different, but for me Earth shoes have helped me tremendously and I love them! I don't know that I will ever wear anything except Earth shoes.

Great service and shoes. Have feet problems and stand all day. These shoes are great for comfort. I wear 6 so tried, sent back to get 1/2 size bigger. I have New Balance tennis shoes but these Earth shoes beat New balance by far. Comfort is the name of the game for your feet. And Zappos, they are great. Best of the best company keep up your great work thumbs up to Zappos.
