Finally found shoes that fit!
Being tall and female can sometimes be a challenge to find shoes that fit. I often have to purchase men's shoes, however, I am thin, so my foot is narrow and men's shoes don't always fit due to being too wide. I read so much about Keens, thought I'd try these in color bison as I thought they looked the most "asexual" of the styles and I am a little vain! I ordered a 9.5, (converting my women's size 11 to what it would be in a men’s and upgrading to half size bigger, per info from others) but those were an entire size too small. I ordered the men’s 10.5 and they are a perfect fit, but you definitely need to go up a size, in my opinion. These shoes are really nice looking, I feel I can absolutely get away with wearing them and no one will think they are men’s, but I think when men wear them, they look like men’s. These were instantly comfortable and look nice with everything. Lots of toe room, the shoe doesn't irritate that tender spot just under the ankle bone, no rubbing on my heel, all around as perfect as a shoe can get. I don't have to wear extra socks or add any inserts. I am very pleased and glad others took time to write reviews so people like me could make a wise choice.

It fit's!
I have a huge and wide foot for a female. I rarely find a shoe that fits perfectly. This shoe is no exception. It is a fine shoe, but it does not fit my foot perfectly. However, this shoe is the first non-Birkenstock to come close. They were hard to get on at first, due to stiffness in the material and I would like more arch support, but the bottom line is that my feet don't hurt after 8+ hours on my feet in a retail environment. I actually meant to order the Bronx. I had ordered those in 7.5 a while back and returned them because they were too small. I find the Boston to be a much nicer shoe with a more sophisticated fashion.

Feels like a slipper -
The Keen Boston is a Great shoe that fits like a slipper. Excellent support, comfortable, light weight and looks good. I found that I needed a half size larger than I normally wear. The local retail store has trouble keeping this shoe in stock. Zappos is the way to buy shoes!

Terrific shoe -
These are great shoes. They fit true to size. They are soft and are very much in style. The bottom of the shoe was a bit different to get used to. I was so used to their sandals. These will be great for the nice cold slushy weather. Great product. Well worth the money. We will buy them again. Our 7 yr old son can’t destroy his, which is unusual. :)

I really love these shoes... they do feel a half size larger than marked, however. Very good arch support in my opinion, but I am not very qualified to speak about it though.

My experience with Keen shoes -
A friend of mine who is a Chiropractor recommended a pair of Keen shoes. I now own three pairs. I have never had such a wonderful experience with shoes. I have a wide foot and these shoes helped my back and need no break in period. The service at Zappos is also a truly wonderful experience...

Medical Laboratory Friend -
I am a Medical Technologist and work on my feet most of the time and my Keen Boston’s are my work shoes. The overall 4 stars is not because of the shoe itself but due to my slightly narrow feet that swim around the front of the shoe. 10 hours on your feet though and that freedom becomes welcome. Heel comfort is amazing. Looks great though a little warm for South Texas but perfect in the laboratory where we keep the temperature cool for our analyzers. Wife is an emergency room nurse and I bought her a pair of Keen clogs along with my pair and we both became fans. I alternate my clogs with my Boston’s at work and started a trend.

Surprisingly stiff!
I am very pleased. Not in the beginning when I took my first steps because these shoes were a new experience. They felt (and are) very stiff, but the size felt all right, a little smaller #12 then similar types of shoes in my collection. Now, after using them for a week in wet weather they feel very comfortable. The stiffness is compensated with the special shaped (convex) sole and they really support my feet!

Keen Bison Boston’s are GREAT -
I am 47 years old and love good shoes. These Keen Boston Bison's are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and worn. The quality is second to none as they use all REALLY soft, supple leather on the inside. Also, they have proven many times to be completely waterproof. I highly recommend these for anyone who enjoys great quality combined with good looks and unsurpassed comfort. They wear well too. Very durable. I don’t know if that's because they are made of bison or other reasons, but I really don’t care....they are VERY comfortable. Cheap for what you get. I am buying another pair soon. I hope Keen never changes this particular shoe by trying to improve something that is engineered so perfectly.

One good Keen deserves another -
I bought these shoes for my husband who has worn out his other 2 pair of Keens that he wears to work. His Dad bought a pair like this first and when he saw them he wanted a pair too. So, I surprised him and shipped them to him at work. If he doesn't have this pair on his feet, he is wearing his leather sandal-like Keens. He is a true Keen fan, so am I and so are his parents!

Wet Walking Wonders!
When preparing for a trip to rainy Ireland, my wife and I both picked up a pair of Keen footwear. These Boston's were absolutely wonderful. I wore them daily during the week long trip and stayed dry and very comfortable even though every day had plenty of rain. No break-in period was needed. The shoes continued to look good as well.
We would definitely get another pair. Great fit, even though I wear a size 14!!

Keen, but not Chukka -
Shoe is fine, comfy and fairly stealthy as a black dress shoe with some attitude. I REALLY wanted a black Chukka to go with my worn out Bison Chukkas, but apparently Keen doesn't make them anymore!

Good traveling shoe -
I put these on and went to England for 2 weeks. Normally I wear orthotics, but with the good support of these shoes, I left them home. Never felt like I couldn't wait to get my shoes off. With a medium thick sock, these were like wearing bedroom slippers. Excellent support and comfort. With poor support my knees bother me, but with these Keen's there were no complaints at all!! I did order half size larger and they were fine.

Boston Bison in Seattle -
I like the Boston a lot, though I wish I'd gone with a non-distressed finish, something a little more polished. I also like the front-to-back seam on the top of the shoe . . . sort of Euro-looking. I've had them three weeks.
On the negative side, I noticed last night that the rubber on the side of the shoe near the ball of my big toe had pulled away a bit from the leather. Rather than return them, I got out some epoxy and carefully filled in the gap, using a toothpick.
One more thing. I tried an 11 1/2 and it was too small. The pair I'm wearing is a 12, and they're just slightly too big. I compensate by wearing thick socks.

Keen Boston New Black is disappointing -
I bought Keen Boston New Black as a gift for my husband. He wanted to replace his Keen Boston black leather, the soles of which were wearing out. But after wearing the Keen Boston New Black outside only for while he came back with heels in blisters. Even changing socks with thicker ones did not make a difference, because the inside of the shoe was too slippery. I have been buying Keen shoes for a couple of years, but in my view as their popularity is growing, their quality is going down.
I had to return two other pairs I bought earlier (which luckily I wore only inside) - Ouray and Cortina. Still the 2 of Keen's very first models- Newport and Bronx are one of my favorite shoes. But Keen lost me as a customer and in the future I will stick to buying only Merrell and Simple. Too bad that Zappos.com does not carry Merrell.

A Great Shoe!
I'm on my feet 12 hours at work and I don't feel as tired at the end of the day like I use to. They are very well made. I have a tendon problem in my left foot and these shoes have made a big difference. I found out about these shoes from a physician assistant. She had a pair on and I asked her what brand they were. She told me about Zappos and I ordered a pair. My doctor had a similar pair on also. I now own 3 pairs of Bostons and 2 Bronx. They are both great shoes, but I like the Boston a little better for comfort, feel and looks. I will have a pair of Keen shoes as long as they are available. Order 1/2 size larger and they should fit fine. The return process at Zappos is very easy - print a label, tape it on the box and take it to the UPS store and drop it off, if they don't fit properly.

I am an orthopedic surgeon and can recommend Keen not only for the comfort they offer poor tired ageing feet but also for the actual relief they offer the heel and plantar fasciitis.

Great look and feel -
These shoes are a marvel. I have worn comfortable shoes but these guys are the best. I have a pair of the Earth shoes that cost a little more and are made with natural fibers. These are just as close but a little less expensive.
