Zappos is the bomb! Love the customer service, free overnight shipping, and easy returns/exchange. I've been a customer for years and have had only a few disappointments in shoes. I bought these Ugg boots because I needed a casual boot and I have terrible back pain. I normally wear an 8 1/2 narrow so I ordered an 8. My first time out in the Uggs was shopping on Black Friday. They were extremely comfortable and there was no breaking in period needed. I do have to wear thick socks with them so beware to those who have narrow feet. Can't wait to wear them again.

If you are an overweight plus-size,(3x) and hard to fit with queen-size needs, just know that these boots will stretch after wearing a couple times, and be quite comfortable. I bought these Ugg Ultimate Short boots in Chestnut two, or three, years ago. They were very difficult to get on on first attempt, but once the suede adapted to my leg shape, they were easier to slip on. I am going to be sixty next week, but still like to dress fashionably, so being able to get them on easily is important. Once the weather gets cold, I wear these every day and usually don't remove them at work. They are so comfortable. And they are comfortably warm, so my feet don't get cold in the car, even at zero degrees F. They also are fairly reliable for walking in the snow safely without slipping. I did slip a bit one time on an icy sidewalk, but didn't fall. I am happy to have this second pair in Chocolate brown. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and these size 9's are just comfortably roomy, enough room for a heavier pair of warm socks if needed.

LOVE these boots. Followed other reviews and ordered 1/2 size smaller (I wear a 6 1/2 and ordered a 6). They are perfect fit and really comfy!

I love these boots. I tried the less expensive classic Uggs, but they really smell bad because of the plastic soles. It was worth the money to get the more expensive Ultimate Uggs because they don't smell bad (rubber soles) and because they look much nicer. The Classic Uggs made my feel look like grizzly bear feet, but the Ultimates are made differently, so they look much better. The boots are very comfortable and warm.

I just purchased my daughter, a freshman in college in the Boston area, her second pair of the Ultimate Short boot. The first pair I purchased for her was when she was in seventh grade, and this year, she finally relegated them to slippers for use in her chilly dorm room. Needless to say, she loves them, they look great on her with jeans, and they are a terrific value.\r\n\r\n

I bought my first Ugg boots and am I glad I did. I wear size 8 1/2 and bought size 8 that was recommended. The fit is perfect and the boot is more comfortable than anything I have bought in the past. I did water seal the boot before I wore them. It also prevents stains. I love my boots!

I normally wear size 8.5, but the 8 was a perfect fit. I love these Uggs. They are so comfortable and the Ultimates give that extra degree of arch support as compared to the Classic.

These are my 3rd pair of Uggs, and are more snug all over than my previous pairs. They're not tight, or short, but the profile is much tighter and closer to the foot and calf. Even when these stretch out a bit, I doubt I will be able to tuck my pants in unless they're leggings, and I did that easily with the larger profile Uggs. As always, they're wonderfully warm and soft, and I expect I'll love them just as much as my other pairs, which have finally died after many years.

I bought these Uggs for my daughter who goes to school on the west side of Michigan where they get lots of lake effect snow and cold. She loves them. She says her feet are always warm no matter how cold it is outside. We sprayed them really good with water repellent, but we haven't had our first big snow yet to see how they hold up.

I've been a Zappos customer for a year now. You talk about fast great service, Zappos is #1. My most recent purchase was the Ugg boots. Love them; it's my fourth pair and I can't live without them. Very stylish and comfortable. Can't wait to purchase my next pair for my birthday! Gotta have 'em.

Uggs Ultimate. There is such a misconception about Uggs that they are "so comfortable". No, they are not all so comfortable. They have what I call "fashion Uggs" and then real, comfortable, totally-worth- the-price Uggs. That would only mean the totally Ugg-ly "Ultimates". Okay, so they aren't the funky metallic one, the camo, zip-up, cool fabrics or colors. They only come in the standard black/chestnut/sand/ colors. But the sole makes all the difference. I've tried both. I want to be able to wear the trendy styled ones, but they suck. I don't even know how anyone can say the "Classic" (or any of the trendy ones) is comfortable with a straight face. The Ultimates have a thicker, more rubbery sole. I don't know exactly what the difference in make is, but it a world of difference on your feet. I don't wear heels because they hurt. I certainly wouldn't buy so-called comfortable shoes that are ugly if they don't feel like foot heaven. Ultimates are awesome. I wear them all winter, with or without socks and I love them. Worth the price and worth the ugly appearance.

The Ultimate Ugg ran a little too small when I sized a whole size down. I wear a 9 and an 8 was too small. I got the classic tall and they were perfect in an 8. Very cozy. I wear them around the house; now I want another pair in a different color! Very cute when tucked into leggings; my boyfriend loves them!

Honestly, I had been waiting awhile to see if the Ugg trend would fade away and since it hadn't, I decided to give in and go for a pair to see what the big deal was. Maybe I'm a shoe snob, maybe I'm just accustomed to my Danskos which offer me superior comfort and arch support. Seriously folks, I don't understand what all the hype is. If you want warm feet, buy some wool socks (that dare I say, can be washed after each use). The idea of no socks just puts me off a bit. My feet hurt after wearing these around my house, let alone attempting to wear them out all day. There is no arch support and no support if you happen to have any amount of pronation, but I do have to say that they are warm. I have to believe that I'll certainly get more bang for my shoe buying bucks elsewhere, which is why I have returned these to find a more well rounded pair of winter shoes.

Love them but beware of size recommendations. So nice to have genuine Uggs instead of one of the many cheap imitations, mmmmm. I've read many reviews saying that you should round your size down for these puppies, but I'm glad I followed my instinct and went the other way. I am a 12 but can get into a lot of 11's, especially if they're wide. I bought these in 12 (medium) and they're almost too short even so, but they're wearable and will probably stretch and form a bit over time. As always, Zappo's service is the absolute BEST!

These were the first shoes I've purchased from Zappos, and I'm sure they won't be the last! Using the sizing guidelines my boots fit perfectly (I usually wear between a 5 1/2 or a 6, depending on the shoe and bought a 5) and are great for the chilly Midwestern seasons. My feet were kept warm in VERY snowy weather - even without wearing socks. The lining is super soft as well (as a friend of mine said "It feels like I'm wearing a teddy bear!") They're also great for all occasions, from just running errands to going out on the town with friends. The only thing I would do is use some sort of waterproofing spray before wearing them in wet weather. I have a few small water spots on mine from getting caught in a downpour before having a chance to do so, but other than that after 2 months they're still just as perfect as they were when they arrived on my doorstep.

Nice boots!
Received expedited shipping from Zappos and the boots arrived in record time. They do not run true to size so order a size smaller from your regular size. The lining is very soft, but I did notice after wearing them all day that my feet hurt a bit. Other than that, they are stylish and even in the not so cold South TX weather… they are very nice.

After trying the not-so-comfortable Elsey Ugg, I decided to go with more traditional, yet slightly more stylish, Ugg. They are the softest, most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I wasn't sold on the Ugg look for quite some time, but this boot is fantastic. The Elsey, although more stylish, did not provide the comfort you would expect from this company. I absolutely love the look and comfort of the Ugg Ultimate Short. Many seem to go down a whole size, but I did not. Thanks, Zappos for the lightning speed delivery. I got the boot in about 13 hours!

Great boots, problematic sizing -
I think the Ugg Ultimate runs more true-to-size than other Ugg styles. I am a size 6.5-7, medium width, and I followed the reviews and ordered a 6. They were a little short on one foot, and my little toes brushed the edge of the footbed just enough to be annoying in bare feet. Thanks to Zappos free return policy, I will be sending these back and ordering the 7s. Otherwise, they are super-cute boots with a more stylish and sleek look than the Ugg classics. I love the chocolate color.

Not happy with product -
I have not rated the product as I don’t feel I am in a position to as they have not been worn. I am returning them - return hasn't been immediate as I have been out of the country on vacation. They were too big and also I felt they didn’t feel or look new. I felt they were a product that had been dispatched before (maybe many times) and it showed. These are not the first pair of uggs that I have bought on line and I had no problem with the others (Same size). At the price per pair, I'm afraid I have to be completed happy with a pair of boots and love everything about them. This experience has made me hesitant of ordering from Zappos again.

This shoe is gorgeous and is much more comfortable than it looks. I bought it in wine and cannot wait to wear it. Feels true to size (I wear a 7.5/8 and bought an 8.) One word of warning: there is no tread on the bottom and it seemed a little slippery just walking around my house. I love this new brand; I can't wait to buy more of their BEAUTIFUL shoes!

I love these boots. They fit wonderfully. They're not as lose as the traditional Ugg but these have a little more support. I would still purchase "my size". I instantly protected them with the Ugg water repellent spray and honestly I've only worn them around the house. I love Uggs. Zappos prices these a little higher than what you might be able to find elsewhere but the free shipping and quick delivery makes it worth it. I would definitely recommend this Ugg boot to your Ugg collection. I also like them because you can turn the cuff down. I'm thinking about buying some more new Uggs today!

I love this boot!
I am so happy that I decided to check out Zappos.com for this boot because of the customer reviews. I learned things that the salesperson at the department store did not tell me about the first pair of Uggs I bought. This boot does run a size large for me. My first pair was a size 9 and I cannot wear them anymore--way too big! Ordered a pair from Zappos in size 8 and they are so perfect and comfortable!! I truly love wearing the boots. In the future I will order from Zappos.com and read the reviews before I order! Can't go wrong!

I am very pleased with my Egg Ultimate Short boots. They arrived the next day after my order on the phone. This winter is cold in the northeast I was very happy I could wear my boots right away. The Ugg boots are warm, soft and give me the support and traction I need to walk on the icy roads.
