Danced all night - I bought these shoes for a dance cruise on the Queen Mary 2 from New York to France. They came just before I left and I found them very comfortable for the dance classes and nights in the ballroom. They made spinning fun!

The shoe is beautiful and the leather is nice and supple. I had to order a 1/2 size larger than my other shoes because the shoe was too short and too narrow in my regular size.

Pretty good for a cheap tap shoe -
As a major advocate for Capezio, I will say that this shoe is very comfortable, but has very minimal bend in the arch for pointing / toe stands. If you wear them as character shoes instead of taps be prepared to scuff up the bottom, they're extremely slippery.
I love the new heel design.

AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!!!
To start off with, I am not a high heel kinda girl. I'm barely a low heel kinda girl, so I was skeptical as to the comfort and support spoken of in other reviews. These shoes are wonderful. I'm not a dancer, but I've been cast in a community theater production as a Hot Box Girl and needed something with a heel to learn choreography in. I never once worried about the heel breaking on me or my arches hurting. These are easily as comfortable as my favorite sneakers. I'm thinking about buying them in another color. I did follow others' advice and ordered wider than my normal size, so go big or go home!

Orthotic Friendly/removable footbed -
What a great find Tic Tac Toe shoes are. For those of us who NEED to wear orthodics, here is a reasonably priced shoe selection with some style that is, in fact, orthotic friendly. Additionally, they come in a D width. After purchase simply remove the standard lining, which is only slightly glued in place, insert your own orthodics and you are good to go. Consider a wider width if the toe bed is too tight on the width you normally wear.

Finally, a narrow tap shoe!
I have had trouble for 15 years finding narrow width tap shoes for my girls. These fit the bill/(foot)! We've never had one that also had the padded insole.
This is a great value!

Great, but sizing is a mystery, and keep 'em indoors -
After reading all the comments here, I ended up buying a half size up and a wide rather than a medium. The "wide" was a good call -- the width was perfect. But the half-size up? Unnecessary. If it wasn't for the strap, I'd be coming out of these things with every step.
Used 'em anyway (as I'd purchased them for an event and did not have time to reorder the right size). Very comfy; very nice looking on stage.
In fact, they were so comfortable, I forgot to take them off before I left, and I exposed their soft little soles to a couple blocks of hard, scratchy sidewalk on my way to my car. Result: I can still wear them, but the sole is already splitting from such treatment.
Will probably order another pair in my actual size (but wide) and be very careful to keep those indoor-only.

These are perfect -
After trying on a series of dressy shoes, I finally decided to try these. They are perfect. Going on previous reviews, I ordered an 11 instead of 10-1/2, and am completely happy. The heel is exactly the right height (I am tall), they are flattering to the leg, they are comfortable, and I see no problem with wearing them in everyday life, not just on the stage. I wish Capezio would make these in about a dozen more colors--and that other manufacturers would take some hints from Capezio on how to make a really comfortable and pretty shoe.

No other shoe for stage work -
I am an 11 wide. I read all the reviews and bought these in a 12 wide. They fit perfectly. As an opera singer, these are the definitive shoes for stage work as they fit in with basically all time periods and costumes and are a standard for what I need. My old size 11 wides had gotten too small, so I needed to replace them. These fit great and are quite comfortable. Do order up one size.

The unexpected -
Ok, I work in a hotel and I am on my feet the entire 8 hour shift. Almost all the shoes I found and bought just did not give the comfort I needed. After wearing a pair of Clarks that made my entire right leg hurt from foot to ankle to knee to hip, I was just done and could not handle it any more. I looked on Zappos and just wanted something cheaper and black that would be comfy. These came up and I really almost passed for the one and only reason they are not all that cute, original, or eye catching, but b/c of the reviews and everyone saying they were comfy, I gave them a try. Grant you, they were dancing shoes and I was like… hey if they are comfy for that, then maybe just maybe they will work for me. I was skeptical to say the least, but surprisingly the first night I wore them at work, they were a bit small. I ordered an 11.5 and I normally wear an 11. They still were a bit small and my big toe rubs a bit inside making the first night tuff, but they wear in very well. Tonight is my 5th night wearing them and they are nice and broken in and I can actually say these are awesome and comfy and support me great. Who would have ever thought this from a dance shoe? I am gladly surprised and much thankful once again Zappos had what I needed and got it to me fast.

I wanted a pair of character shoes because I am involved in theater of all kinds, and I decided I should expand my theater/dance shoe collection (I only had one pair of black tie jazz shoes), so I saw these were affordable and classy (as I needed black shoes to wear to chorus/madrigal concerts and music festival auditions as well) so I decided to get them. After reading all the other reviews, I tried to order a 9W because I usually wear an 8M, but all they had left in black was 8M (only two pairs left!). I was hesitant at first to get them because i thought they weren't going to fit, but the next day when they came in the mail I tried them on and they fit perfectly! I was so happy. Either my feet aren't the size I think they are or the other reviews are wrong. But hey, whatever.

Good shoe, amazing delivery!
I ordered this shoe at the last minute for a theater performance as I could not find my other character shoes. They arrived the next day. Incredible! I would recommend ordering a full size larger than street shoe size, and order the wide unless you have very narrow feet. The shoes tend to run small. Good value for the $$$.

I bought these to wear to a ballroom dance class. They were so comfortable, I could've danced all night! I ordered one size up, because of the reviews, and I was glad, because they were a perfect fit! I wear a 7W, and I ordered an 8W. Perfect!

Great dancing shoe!
I wore these shoes out to a dance and they were comfortable and fit well. There was no "breaking-in" required! I will state that I bought a 5 1/2 Wide, rather than my normal size 5 1/2. Other Capezio shoes seemed to run a bit narrow, so I ordered the wide and they fit and feel great.

Lovely, comfy shoes -
These are wonderful. I'm wearing them in a play where I have to dance, run up and down stairs, and stand around a lot. I have Morton's neuroma, so I wear them with meta pads and have had no problems! I followed the advice in the other reviews and ordered a 10W instead of my usual 9M. Perfect fit! With the free overnight shipping and returns, there was no risk! I highly recommend these shoes and Zappos!

Top notch shoe -
Excellent shoe for the price. Love this styling of shoe for regular street wear as well as dance.
As a harp player they are the perfect heel height. I ordered a full size larger than my normal street shoe and it was a perfect fit. Zappos service & shipping top notch in my book!

Sturdy and classic shoe -
This is a sturdy, well-made and comfortable shoe. The look is a bit older, but it is a classic style that one can always wear. It does run very small. I order a half size larger than I normally wear after reading other reviews, but still needed to return it and order another half size up.

So far these are a good shoe for comfort; however I have yet to wear them for any length of time. Good shoe to wear with pants. Like the heel height. I will order another pair in a different color if they continue to be comfortable after longer wear.

Buy one size larger -
I recently purchased these shoes and found them too small. I ordered a new pair one whole size larger and a wide width. I have never worn this size or a wide width, but they ended up fitting perfect! Plus, I had them the next day with free shipping! A return label was emailed to me and I was able to easily return the small pair, again at no cost to me! I was very pleased with my purchase and with the customer service I received with the exchange. I will definitely buy again with Zappos!
