I have owned 3 pairs of these shoes. I have them in brown and black. It's a great shoe that's comfortable and long wearing. I have a wide foot and sometimes finding a well fitting pair of shoes is a challenge. I highly recommend the Rockport Northfield and Zappos.com.

I bought these shoes to replace an old pair of Havana Joe's that were similar in style. I have been very pleased with these shoes so far (1 month). The comfort is typical Rockport, great! The styling of these shoes is better than most Rockports and don't look as clunky as past products. Overall, a great pair of shoes.

Great looking and very comfortable casual yet somewhat dressy shoe. It\'s the second pair I\'ve purchased. Also got it in brown. I have a wide foot and this shoe fits wonderfully on my 12 4E foot.

These are wonderful shoes.Very comfy. This is my third pair of the Rockport Northfield. They\'ve worn really well, and I like the way they look. It\'s hard to find narrow shoes, and Zappos has a great selection.

My recent purchase of Rockport's Northfield shoe was a wise decision. They are a great value and with Zappos great service it made a more wonderful experience. I really cannot remember any bad experiences with dealing with Zappos, and I will continue to shop with them.

The shoes fit great! I could never get the width at our local store. They would fit me with a larger size to get the width. My toes aren't pinched anymore. They felt great the minute I put them on. I will always order from Zappos. Thanks.

I recently ordered these shoes in Brown. Overall the shoe fit well on my feet, however, the insole support was terrible. Not the same support I have seen in Rockport\'s in the past. Will be sending these back.

Excellent shoes. My son wore these as a school uniform shoe, and he loved them. Excellent wear. Comfortable soles, even on the playground. Work well with dress slacks and jeans. He begged me for a new pair to start this school year, wouldn't even consider a different shoe.

I've had these shoes for about a month now, and so far, so good! I purchased these shoes because a friend of mine told me these were the only type of shoes (Rockport) that allowed his feet to breathe and didn't make them sweat. So far, that's been true for me. I'm sold!

I\'ve owned about 6-8 pairs of these Rockports, so far. They\'re my commute shoes. I work in NYC and walk about 1-2 miles every day. These shoes are great! Comfy, waterproof and acceptable in the office until I switch into my real work shoes.\r\n\r\n

Decent, not Airport Safe. As most have stated, a decent shoe. Definitely not airport safe (I go through security 2-4 times per week), which is the main reason for the original purchase. High outside quarter rubbed on ankle bone when new, but has since dissipated. Sole wears rapidly.

Classic styling and roomy fit make this smartly styled oxford an old favorite. I\'m glad that Rockport is still offering it and that it\'s available in 4E.

Very comfortable shoe - awful sole life. I have had several pairs of Rockports over the years, and typically find them very comfortable, pleasant looking, and durable. However, the lightweight, porous rubber used for the sole of these shoes has an extremely short life. Within four months of wearing them about half the time, the tread is nearly gone and the heel is rounded to the point of causing instability. I have never had a pair of shoes wear out so quickly. This might be excusable in discount specials (which I would not buy), but not for a shoe of this price.

Excellent pair of shoes. Good price. Comfortable from day one - stay looking new even after hard wearing - lawn mowing, fishing, etc. Fit as size would indicate. Fast service - free return policy is a clincher, but no reason to return. Appearance and color as shown on site. Very easy way to shop.

I have owned 2 pairs of these in the past several years, and they are the most comfortable shoes of which I know. The water proofing is an added bonus in the slush and snow we have in the northern USA. They are easy to clean with a damp cloth.

Comfortable daily activities shoe that also has some touch of formality to it. I have also been wearing the Rockport Margin for my day to day activities for several years now, but their soles are completely worn out after about a year or two of heavy use. The Northfield, which clearly has a thicker and grooved sole yet is the same basic design, will provide a bit of a longer lifespan. Overall, an excellent shoe and I have yet to be disappointed by Rockport.

My husband has had several pairs of these and loves them. But he does get some rubbing at the back of his ankle from the stiff collar in the back, which is pretty high. Otherwise, he's happy and loves the fact that they're waterproof, but look nice. Once they break in, they'll be good.

I like these shoes but I am somewhat disappointed in the sizing. The extra wide width was perfect but the length seems at least a 1/2 size larger so my feet slide around. I should have returned them and tried a 1/2 size smaller than my true size.

My husband is a chef with flat feet and has been wearing this shoe for years. They are comfortable and sturdy for work, and they also do double duty as a good looking casual every-day shoe.

We live in a VERY wet, rainy area, and this shoe is great because it is pretty solid and keeps the water out. It does run about a half size, perhaps even a size big, if you happen to have small, narrow feet, which I do. It is nice, basic looking, no problems there. Easy to wear, definitely recommend it. Goes well with either jeans or Dockers. Nice casual dress show. The leather is nice as well. You never know until you have it in your hand, and we were not disappointed in this shoe!

This is a very nice shoe, well made. The only thing we noticed is that it is about 1/2 size large. My husband wears a narrow, and almost always an 11 1/2 sometimes a 12, but had to go all the way down to an 11, which he hasn't worn since high school! Luckily, we are dealing with the best shoe company in "town" and it has been a breeze to ship them back and exchange. Our local UPS store is right up the street, and it has been NO problem returning anything and getting our money back.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: We were looking for a certain shoe by Havannah Joe, but the company was purchased and they pulled their most popular shoe! It has been hard finding ANYTHING that rivals the comfort and quality of that shoe, but these are pretty good.

This is my second pair of these shoes. My other pair is black. These are the most comfortable, wearable shoes I have found for my personal taste. I enjoy the waterproof performance of these shoes. Mine truly keep my feet dry, sloshing through the damp spring weather here in the south. I would recommend these shoes. They are a classic man's shoe. They take to reheeling well and they respond well to the paste polish I like to use.
