Best with tights...
Kris is right...be careful on bare legs. I wore my black Uptights to dinner one night and was glad to have my guy help me take them off! Ever since, I wear these with stretch pants or hose/tights with the foot part cut out, so I can still go barefoot in them & wiggle my cute toes. VERY sexy...but stick to cowgirl or zip-up boots if you prefer wearing boots on bare legs :-)

Affordable elegance!
The red Uptight boots I bought are only the second pair of red boots for me. They look and feel great with a denim or a black skirt, and unlike some of the other reviews, my fuller calves allow me to enjoy these without socks, or having to cut out the foot part to feel more feminine. The only drawback is wearing these barefooted - it does make it hard to pull them off, though that is a small price to pay ;-)

The boot is incredibly comfortable and easy to wear all day. It is easy to put on and take off. Great product!

Great boot!
These are great boots and were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them out dancing the first night and was fine. The boots work well with both skirts and pants or jeans. I got the brown snake print and even received compliments on them from guys that first night out.

Great boot!
I found that this boot fit my wide calfs perfectly (and I've searched a long time for one that fit right). They look great with skirts or with pants/jeans. I get a lot of compliments on them and found them comfortable right out of the box. They are a little tricky to get on and off however.

The Perfect Red Boot -
I've been on the hunt for a pair of red boots I could wear with jeans or a long skirt, and these just knock my socks off! They are comfortable and easy to slip on and off, fit my calm snug (but not too tight) and felt comfortable with thin socks but roomy enough to put heavier socks on. This is one of my first purchases through Zappos.com and I'm already hooked!

Easy and versatile boot -
I was glad that these boots ran a little large because of wearing socks. I don't think I would wear them with a skirt because the material slouches around my ankles and looks sloppy; but for pants & jeans, they're great! Also,I work in retail and was able to wear them all day long (but was relieved to take them off after work)!

WOW!!
WOW! I have these in black stretch. It's rare to find a wide boot that fits my muscular calves. I LOVE these and can't wait for winter- these and a long skirt will look amazing.

Naturalizer's Uptight -
These boots looked awesome when I saw them. And when I read reviews about this being great for small calves, I had to get them. Unfortunately the circumference was about an inch too big for my 13" calves (at widest part) and scrunched up around my ankles so I had to return them. Though they were comfortable and nice. With a great height, it came up to my knees (I'm 5'7"). You're better off with something with a zipper. Otherwise Zappos' service is awesome fast delivery and returns.

Sexy!
I was SO excited to find this shoe! It attracted me with a low-but stylish-heel for comfort, and I just wanted a boot that came up to my knee. It's very comfortable and warm. It does feel slightly larger than expected, so I recommend a half size smaller. They also look great with anything! Skirts or pants, whatever. Very versatile. I can wear these all day! Wonderful boots!

Sexy but do not breathe -
These boots fit my large calves (16" right and a larger 16-3/4" left) very well, but they do not breathe, so they will be hot except on a cold day.

I LOVE THIS BOOT!
It's a really great boot. It does have a little bit of a cheap look to them from up close, but I'm so glad that i bought them. They are so comfy,and i just love that there is no zipper.I've been looking for these for awhile now.There is a little bagginess around the ankle, but i just cut the foot out of a kind of thick pair of socks(the foot part is a little bit tight for socks) and that took care of the bagginess. Zappos is the most wonderful online shoe store. I won't buy shoes online anywhere else.

Love this boot!
I love this boot!!! I have spent a year looking for an affordable boot that would fit my calves. This boot was perfect and looks great! The only bad thing I have found about the boot is that your foot tends to slide around in them even if you are wearing thick socks. I would definitely buy this boot again.

I seriously was looking for about 3 months for this exact boot and I finally found it. I am tall so I needed a moderate heel but I did not want a stilletto but not a chunky heel and this is it! Looks good!

Good for wide feet but loose at calf and ankle -
I am 5'1. 125 lbs and wear a size 5.5 WWW. Needless to say, it is hard to find a shoe that fits well. This boot is about as close as I can could get. The boot give ample toe room for wide feet. They are comfortable enough that I can wear them all day in the office and through the evening. However, the fit at the calves (I have 12 inch calves) and ankles were a bit loose, and I do find myself pulling them up throughout the day. All in all, they look greeat with dress or casual pants, are comfortable, but I will prbably never wear them with skirts.

Not bad for a stretch boot -
I range 8M to 8.5W depending on the shoe. I ordered these boots in an 8W since most boots are too narrow for me. The extra width definitely increases the comfort level. However, after hour #5 of wearing these boots at the office, the slight pinch on my pinky toes and the aching balls of my feet made me slip the boots off for a few minutes. On a positive note, the boot shaft is great for women with stronger-than-twigs calves: mine are 16.5 inches wide and I easily pulled these boots on, no struggling or fighting needed. Pulling them off wasn't too difficult. And as other reviewers have noted, the boot ankles are baggy because there's no zipper on the shaft. I had no problems with the boots slipping down my calves but there was indeed some bagginess at the ankles. Overall the boots look nice, easily fit over strong calves, and have a good heel height for walking--but I don't recommend walking in them all day long.

Beautiful boots. The toe is narrow, but doesn't crush my toes. I normally have a problem with too much room in ankle area, but the stretch fabric of these boots gave me a perfect fit. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous boots, but too baggy -
I loved these boots as soon as I opened the box and put them on--very comfortable. Unfortunately, I have a long slender leg, and the boot was too loose through the calf and ankle.

The first pair had a crack or bend in the internal plastic structure within the boot. It made a crackling sound when I walked. Your service was excellent however...sent me a new pair immediately...I still need to get the first paid back to you
