I was excited to receive this shoe so quickly from Zappos (always great service) but found they need LOTS of breaking in. I've worn the shoes quite a lot and still have toe pinching where the seams join on the sides. Overall, pretty good ---- leather hopefully will give over time so I'll keep trying.

I have worn this shoe for years. It is truly comfortable when I am out running errands. It is not the most fashionable, but that is not what I am looking for.

SWEET FOR THE FEET -
This is my second purchase of the Addiction Walker and it's every bit as good as the first. As a person with many foot problems, including balance, these shoes are a godsend for me. They are not the best looking shoe on the block, but who cares! The only issue that has been the least bothersome for me is the length of the shoe tongue. They tend to hit too far up on my feet. I think this is just my personal issue for me.

The only shoe that doesn't hurt my feet -
This is my second pair, I have a job on my feet and these are the only shoes I have found to be comfortable. Before, after a day on my feet I could barely walk the next day, now there is no discomfort! The insoles do break down after a year, hoping I can find a replacement set.

Happy Feet (and toes)
These Brooks Addiction Walkers are great! True to size, yet wide enough to actually wiggle your toes! Also, they're great shock absorbers...I walked over 3 miles yesterday, and had not one aching leg or throbbing knee! I've had many a walking shoe, and Brooks is by far the best I've ever purchased.

Wonderful walking shoes! I'm on my 2nd pair. They have excellent arch support. I recently had physical therapy for hip pain, and my therapist raved about these shoes. Said they helped balance my weight on the outside of the foot. I'm fine now, and I walk 2 miles every day and my feet never get tired; never hurt. Love these shoes!

Great shoes -
I bought these shoes because the job I now have requires me to be on my feet for the better part of 8 hours. I have high arches and every pair of shoes I owned left me in pain by the end of the day, to the point that it was hard for me to stand and cook supper when I got home. I bought these shoes and it was the best investment I could have made. I no longer have any pain at the end of the day and can even come home and go for a jog. They are amazing shoes and the price is good for what you are getting.

Fantastic Sneaker -
These Addiction Walker's are excellent for wearing all around. They are great for high impact kick boxing. They absorb a lot of the jumping shock and it doesn't affect my back. With other sneakers, my back would hurt after the workout.

Brooks Addiction walker -
This is exactly what I was looking for - I have multiple foot problems - I was told to wear running shoes and have worn the Brooks Addiction running shoe for years - but they wear out very quickly and I didn't think it gave the type of support that I needed - this is the perfect alternative (and believe me I have tried a lot of shoes) - it gives me good support and fits like the running shoe - but with firmer side support - if that makes sense. It is exactly right for me - with my heel spurs, bunions, plantar fasciitis and high arch - I am very pleased!

Love Brooks -
I got these for my mom, who works on her feet full time at 74. Her feet had been killing her and these have helped her tremendously. She says her knees feel better and in fact, her whole legs. She has bunions and flat feet. I also have to say that Zappos is the best and the ONLY place I can get shoes and order a lot and will certainly continue. They make it so easy to return things that do not fit. Thanks Zappos!!

Comfortable shoes!
I bought these shoes in a size 8 instead of the 7.5 I normally wear, and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable shoes, no break-in period necessary. The only thing I don't like about these shoes is that they don't have good traction on wet surfaces.

The best shoes I've ever owned, no contest -
I've owned lots of shoes of all kinds, and many of them were $150-250. I recently got a job where I was standing 7 hours a day, and at the end of the day I could barely walk in these other shoes. I got a pair of Addiction Walkers, and the very next day I could tell my feet were hurting a lot less. Within a few days I was able to do a full shift and come home with my feet not feeling bad at all. I LOVE these shoes, they are comfortable from the first time you get them! It's like they are broken in already. They are much more comfortable than any of my (much more expensive) shoes! BUY THESE!

Comfortable and roomy -
This shoe is very comfortable. It had a roomy toe box if you like to wiggle you toes. The soles are thick which gives a good cushion when you walk. I have had knee problems and the pain goes away when I wear these shoes. They do come up high around the ankle with padding, I suppose that could cause a problem if it rubbed and irritated your ankle. As was noted in other reviews, the shoe strings could be a little longer...but they are easy to replace.

Finally something I am comfortable in!
You name it; I have had foot problems since I was 8 or so. I have worn and tried everything. Everything that you buy has such pointed toes and is not good for anyone. I decided to try the Brooks brand this time, as I have become dissatisfied with New Balance. I pronate and have mortons neuroma, and it does not take much walking before my feet are so painful that I wish I could take my shoes off and walk barefoot. So I bought these in a size 9 1/2 and sent back for a 10, and the fit is perfect. When I put them on to go somewhere, I took another pair of shoes with me, and I never had to change them. I never get through a day wearing any shoes for the first time. I always have to wear orthotics in my shoes, which these would take, but so far, I have not had to put them in. I am well pleased and would certainly buy the product again. I pay a lot of attention to customer reviews before I buy anything, and the reviews were great. And as usual, Zappos has your shoes at your door almost before you finish your order and the return process is just as smooth. Thank you Zappos.

I purchased three pairs of this shoe. One was a perfect fit; one was a bit tight, but ok; one pair was at least one size smaller than marked and was very narrow. Everyone I spoke with loves this shoe, but it will run from marginally small to much smaller than marked.

Excellent support for over-pronation. A little stiff, yes, but I need that for proper correction and motion control. I purchased it in black because I need to wear it even for dress occasions - probably even for my daughter's wedding. It manages to do what it needs to do without looking overly orthopedic. Thank you Zappos for letting me try TEN pairs of shoes before I found the right one. And thank you Brooks for making it true to size. (I tried three sizes in one brand I thought might work and, when I finally did have the right size, discovered that it wouldn't suit after all.)

This boot is cute and comfy and is true to size. No need to size up or down if you are a full size. I got the boot at a department store and the color is chestnut. Don’t know why Zappos doesn’t offer chestnut, unless their toast color is the same as chestnut. But the toast looks darker on Zappos than chestnut at the store, which is more lighter and warmer in color. Could just be how it looks on the computer. Anyway, this boot also has a very cushiony insole. My only complaint for Uggs in general...for this much money they should offer half sizes.

Love this shoe! I have bunions and this shoe works well for me. The toe box isn't tight. I think I've owned 5-6 pair of these over the years. I also like the fact that the insole comes out allowing me to use my orthotics. I have both the tie version and the velcro strap version.

VERY comfortable walking shoes - I have the Brooks Addition 6 and 8 running shoes, which are the most comfortable shoes I have, so wanting something a little less athletic looking, I tried my luck with the leather Walkers. Wore them first on vacation and they did not disappoint me. VERY comfortable and no break-in period. The sizing is rather different, though. I normally wear an 8W, but was professionally fitted in the running shoe as a 9.5B. I tried every combination between 8W and 9.5B and found the 9.5B Walkers to be the most comfortable.

The only walker I wear.
I have tried many shoes and these are the only ones I ever buy. My last pair lasted three years. I have a wide (c) flat foot with a narrow heel. Other shoes rub on my ankles or offer no support. I wear a 10.5 and other companies only make 10 or 11. These are not dainty looking but for the gym or walking on vacations or shopping they can't be beat. Mine are white not the black shown.

Great Shoes!!
I had a total knee replacement and these shoes are great! They were recommended by my doctor for good heel support for the surgery. They fit perfectly right from the box and needed absolutely no "break in" time. I would recommend these to anyone wanting a comfortable walking shoe with great support.

My favorite except for this time.
I really love these shoes. They are the only ones that fit my foot which is wide in front but normal at the ankle. They are roomy and very comfortable. This time however the bottoms squeak on all surfaces. You can hear me coming. I am trying to exchange them.

I like these shoes, however, they have taken a little longer to break in then I thought they would. After reading comments from other customers, I thought there would be little break-in period. I do like the support they give me and I have noticed that the places on my feet that were getting calluses don't seem to bother me at all now. Overall, I have really been very pleased with these shoes and will probably purchase them or something comparable in the future.

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
