Love these shoes so much I bought my mom a pair. They are comfy. I wear a size 8 US so I ordered the 38. They fit perfectly.

These are the third pair of Birkenstocks I\'ve bought over the years and I\'m glad I was able to choose the style in narrow. I love them, they are so comfortable and the colour is great. I can see myself living in them over our New Zealand summer (I was lucky enough to have them sent to my brother\'s address in the States for relatives to bring back for me!). Zappos.com provides an amazing service!

This shoe is extremely comfortable and versatile. I typically wear an 8 1/2 and my feet are sometimes a bit wider than a B width. However, with this particular shoe, I had to downsize to a 7 narrow. \r\n\r\nBirkenstock tends to run much longer and wider than normal so do keep that in mind when ordering.

First, Zappos service and speed were amazing! The shoes are great. They are my second pair of this model and I definitely recommend going a size smaller, I'm an 8, and bought the 38 both times, and it is a good fit. Wonderful shoes, wonderful web site.

Holy moly! I have big feet (size 11/42), but these Birks make them look even more gigantic! Ouch! I have got to return them. I would not recommend these for people with big feet, unless you don't mind having your feet look like giant bear claws! I can see how these would be incredibly cute on small feet.

This is a great shoe at a great price. I normally wear a size nine, but ordered a thirty-nine narrow and they fit perfectly. I wore these all day on the very first day I received them and they were comfortable from the start. Zappos shipping is lightening quick, too!

I ordered these in the black and like them a lot - the only shoes I am able to wear are Birkenstocks due to foot problems - I wear the sandals and clogs all year round. I found the price on these sandals to be fantastic and the free shipping was really a blessing. It was upgraded to overnight and I want to thank Zappos for that - it was also really nice to be able to choose from narrow or regular - I take a size 38 regular and that seems to be a popular size as it is usually out of stock, so when I saw these black ones still available I jumped on them and am glad I did! If there is any chance of having these single band slides available to buy in bright colors that would be nice too.

Great Sandal -
While sometimes people hate on Birkenstocks, they are super comfortable and this shoe in particular is really quite lovely. The simple strap looks great - I would highly recommend it. I only wish more colors were offered more consistently. As far as size goes, I'm usually a 9 or a 9.5 (what would be a 40), but Birkenstocks run large so the 39 narrow width fits perfectly.

I have had a pair of Birkenstocks for 10 years and they are very comfortable. I had a little trouble getting used to these Madrids. I love the silver color, but there is a ridge that goes under your toes that seemed really high and gave me some blisters the first time I wore them to walk the dog around the block. I then wore them for shorter periods of time for a week or two and the ridge is either becoming more flat, or I am adapting to them. I don't remember going through such a breaking-in period with my other Birks, but it has been 10 years. Otherwise, now that I am getting used to them, they are great and I love wearing them. I normally wear a 6, but in these, I ordered a 35-which is the size of my old Birks and they fit exactly the same. Zappos was great again!! This time I ordered them at 5:30PM on a Thursday and got them at 3:30PM the next day, Friday!!!! Amazing and the shipping was FREE! I love Zappos and keep telling all of my friends about them and their great service!

I wear a 10 regular to a 10 wide in every other shoe (Asics, Keds, Softwalk etc). I am returning the size 41 (10 to 10.5) for a size 40 (9-9.5). This is a cute shoe relative to other Birkenstock styles but it runs big.

So comfortable! My size usually changes between a 7.5 and an 8 and after all of the confusing reviews about getting a size smaller I went with the 7-7.5 and they fit great! The next size up would have been too big, and I probably would have even fit in the next size down. I would definitely recommend these shoes as a cute comfy summer sandal. I also got the narrow size which I don’t normally wear, and they were perfect.

I love this shoe!
I wear them in summer and winter--that is how comfortable this shoe is for my feet that have lots of issues with hurting. Also, my order came from Zappos the next day at no extra cost. I was shocked to say the least!

Really watch what size you order. I wear an 8 1/2 in American shoes, but a 37 in Birks.

Pretty & great arch support -
Very comfortable, great looking, excellent arch support, but in my opinion, not a safe shoe for seniors like myself. Wouldn't stay on my feet properly when going down stairs. Almost fell off. I wasn't able to walk properly in these. Shuffling was the best I could do. With each and every step I took, the footbed of the shoe would slap against my heel. Hurt the arthritis. Now I know why some call them flip-flops. Really loved them. Looked nice with just about any outfit, but unfortunately they have to go back. Zappos, I love you!!!

My goodness these are huge!
I'm usually at 39 but I had to get a 37 for this and it fit perfectly. Very light and your foot conforms to the little bumps and grooves at the bottom. Apparently it tones your calf - I shall see! They should have the red ones available!!

This shoe appears to run at least two sizes larger than your normal shoe size. I usually wear size 38 and it was two sizes too large. I also ordered a size 37 and it was at least one size too large. I had to send back both pair. Otherwise, they appear to be a comfortable shoe. Zappos service is absolutely the best!!!

Happiness for my feet -
I was an athlete and now suffer from plantar fasciitis...bad, bad, heel pain. I put these on just around the house all day while I chase my kids. I have been sick of always putting on my gym shoes. These are really awesome. I thought the leather would be tough, it's not. It's so soft. My feet are so happy and I am less crabby because I am in less pain. Also, this was my first time shopping with Zappos and it is the BEST service I have ever had shopping on-line period. MAKE SURE if you are a normal (B) width, you order the Birkenstock narrow. I made that mistake and customer service cleared that up immediately.

The hot shoe in Europe -
I first saw this shoe in Paris, this past summer. All the women of style were wearing them in a variety of colors. It's a definite must have for the upcoming spring. So buy them now...because once they sell out you won't find them anywhere.

Mmm…all I know is that I am a size 7 and I wear a size 37 in Birkenstocks, these are no exception. I ignored the advice and I am happy I did. I love Birkenstocks and I love Zappos for making them so available and affordable. Two fabulous companies working together for the good of shoes/fashion/comfort! The silver ones are amazing, they go with everything. Despite being a flip flop, these are the same as every other pair of Birkenstocks I have ever owned- supportive and comfortable.

Comfy but the uppers stretch big time.
I bought the Madrid to wear on vacation and didn't even need to break them in - so comfortable. However, the Birko-Flor stretched out, and now the footbed is a little long. I'm usually wear an 8 and bought a 38, so the shoe was actually 2 sizes bigger than marked. Just make sure to check the footbed against your foot w/the strap undone...

I generally have shoes and other easy-to-tote-home merchandise sent to my job. Got these shoes along with two others. Tried them on. Couldn't take them off. Haven't had Birks in a while. Can't believe that happened. Great shoe.

Really cute shoe! They just arrived and I have been wearing them around the house, feel like I am walking on air. I'm a true size 8.5 and ordered the 39 in this shoe...I wonder if a 38 might have been better but think but then my heel would be hanging off the back so this size seems just about right. Cute color!

Fantastic!
Been a "Birki" for years, own many pairs, different styles and colors. After back surgery last year, I rarely ever wear anything else. These are already one of my favorites. Love the simple, easy, comfortable style. All of mine are size 38 narrow and fit perfectly. Cannot even feel that I have on these shoes and the silver can be dressy or casual. Birkenstock has had the comfort factor forever, and now the color selections and more feminine styles are unbeatable! Add the ease and overnight free delivery of Zappos right to my door and it's a "no brainer"!! THANKS.

Cutest Birks ever -
These are probably the perfect shoe. These look cute with dresses as well as pants. I have them in black, white, and silver. I am always a 36 in Birks, and these are no different. I did, however, go with the narrow width, which I hadn't done before. They are comfy and cute. If you haven't ever worn the Birko-Flor before, just be warned that your foot gets a little sweatier under the strap than under real leather.

I love my Birkenstocks!
I just purchased the Madrid in Silver Birko-Flor and I am absolutely in love with them. I already own 2 pairs of Ibiza and one pair of Gizeh. These silver Madrids are very European looking and have great style. I'm not big on flashy colors, but the silver is not too bright and can be worn with anything. My regular shoe size is 7-7.5, however I ordered the 37N expecting these shoes would run large, and they fit perfectly. The customer service at Zappos is wonderful. I ordered the shoes yesterday at 1:30 p.m. and they were waiting at my door today when I got home from work.
