Broken sesmoids or just a lot of foot pain. - Buy this!
Both of my sesmoids in both of my feet are broken and will not heal. Without a lot of coddling, the pain is quite intense and makes standing, never mind walking, a very short-term activity. I thought my days of any sort of exercise were over until I found the Brooks Addiction. I have tried shoes from all along the price spectrum. With the Addiction, I am able to exercise by walking 2 - 5 miles every day and can stand for hours with minimal pain. - I do add an additional homemade "C" pad to the bottom of my foot for additional sesmoid protection. Since these shoes are comfortable from day one through, well I haven't found an end, I must make myself buy a new pair every few months to be certain that I have the cushioning and support needed to avoid injury to my knees. I strongly recommend this shoe over ANY other shoe out there. I have 2 -3 pairs of each generation of Addiction and plan to keep with them until Brooks makes the error of changing them! -- Brooks stand behind there product and has excellent customer service.

Great shoe -
I have custom orthotics and Brooks Addiction sneakers are the only ones that fit the orthotic very well. They are very comfortable, I love them.

Great for orthotics -
My wife has a difficult time walking even with her prescribed orthotics. We have found the Brooks Addiction to be the best shoe yet to help her - it has perfect space for the orthotic when you remove the normal insole pad that comes with it, and it keeps her foot well supported - no pronating.

My only shoe -
I love this shoe. I have tried many brands but most were not wide enough and hurt my feet. I have just had two total knee replacements and this is the only shoe I will wear. Great support and great comfort.

Excellent shoes -
I really like these shoes this is the third pair I have bought. I love the linear platform and they are comfortable for me to walk in. I have a lot of foot pain because of flat feet and these shoes are comfortable enough for me to wear for an extended period of time. They are good quality and last for a long time.

Nice and comfy -
I really like this shoe. For years I have only gotten New Balance because of the wider width. Now that more shoes are coming out with wider widths I will probably try them. I really like walking in these shoes. Right from the start they have been comfortable. They are a little wider in the toes then I am used to, but am getting used to them. My feet aren't tired after taking a long walk, and that is nice.

Corrective sneaker for orthodics -
I purchased this sneaker because I wanted a lighter weight walking shoe for my orthodics to fit into. I pronate terribly and I felt this shoe would do the job. I rely heavily on the reviews I read here. My feet just plain hurt in these shoes and I felt there has to be a better sneaker for me out there. I own the Brooks Addiction Walker and it is a terrific shoe.

Brooks Addiction 6 -
Took these out of the box and walked 2.5 miles on the treadmill with no problems. They are so comfortable, I was really pleased. I was glad someone said to order a half size larger. I wear a 10W and I bought a 10.5W, they fit perfect. These are the best; you don't need a break in period. I have a high arch and they work great for me.

Does what it’s supposed to do -
Very comfortable sneaker...older models had more support but this does help with pronation, looks o.k. just pretty basic, but does it well. I wear a 9W and bought a 9.5W to accommodate insoles. Not necessary it runs true to size, the 9W would have been fine.

Great Walker for Problem Feet -
I have been searching for a good shoe for treadmill walking. I have bunions and corns. I have tried 6 different shoes and they all hurt my feet. This shoe was recommended on the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine's website. I love this shoe. I have plenty of room in the toes and the heel doesn't slip. My feet were not red or hurting after my walk. I did order a half size larger than I normally wear based on other reviews. Thanks Zappos for getting these to me so quickly.

Most Comfortable Shoe –
Per reviewer recommendations, I bought a half size larger. I have always had problems with finding shoes that fit. These shoes are the most comfortable I have ever worn. At last, I will be able to pursue my walking regimen in comfort.

Heel Pain? Buy these!!!
After reading recommendations on Zappos about these shoes being great for people experiencing plantar fasciitis- I bought these! My feet have healed now and I owe much credit to these shoes. Thanks Brooks! And thank you so much Zappos for your fantastic service!

Brooks Addiction 6 Review -
Following an injury screening with a PT, I was urged to purchase a running shoe that supported not only my flat arch, but my overpronation tendency as well to avoid excessive stress on my ankles and Achilles tendon. My first run in these shoes was a 15K and they were great! They are very supportive and have served me well as I continue training for a half marathon on June 11.

Comfortable walker -
I have problems with my feet. This shoe was very comfortable from the first second I put it on. IT gave me the support I needed the sole was not too soft or too hard as some other shoes I have purchase. It is truly a very comfort shoe.

This is the first time I have ever written a review for anything that I received on line, but it is worth a few comments.
I was taking a trip to Aruba in just a few days and needed my Brooks to take with me except I use them for the gym, so I needed another pair. I knew if I went to Zappos I would get very fast delivery, but I had know idea they would have the exact shoes my Doctor had prescribed for me. I pronate but they had them yea for me. I was all over them and had them in time to take to Aruba.
Thank you Zappos for caring Brooks but especially for the specific ones that I needed

Great fit right out of the box!
I wear this shoe daily for long walks. Never lets me down. It's comfortable and very supportive for my high arch. I have mild neuroma in my left foot. So long as I use this shoe for my walks, they are not a problem.

Love These Shoes!
These shoes are fabulous for those of us with foot problems. Not only do I have flat feet & a severe overpronation tendency, I also have a size 12 2E foot to try to find shoes for. Zappos has taken care of that problem! These shoes really reminded me of the way my Brooks Addiction Walker feels, except a little lighter & cooler with more padding under the ball of my foot. Excellent motion control, stability, & great arch support. I think they'll make a great walking shoe for warmer days. They did seem to be about 1/2 size smaller than my Brooks Addiction Walker.

Very comfy shoe -
This is a VERY comfortable shoe. The base of the shoe is a little wide, but maybe because I have narrow feet and they use the same base or maybe they make it wide for stability? They are mesh, so they breathe a little too. They are a decent looking shoe, not ugly, but not what I would call really stylish. I took an hour and a half walk last week in them and they were very comfortable the whole time. I really like them and would recommend them.

Doctor ordered -
This shoe was easy to step right into and go for a walk. I am on my feet a lot and this is my working shoe. I wear narrow shoes and have heel spurs so I don't have much to choose from. Brooks was a brand recommended by the local foot Dr. The only thing is a personal preference of a different color - light browns or grays. White does not look good for very long.
