Cute, comfy. I wear a size 11/42. Shoes are never as cute in size 11 as they are in, say, size 8. However, these are still cute even on my aircraft carriers. The heels are chunky in a cool way. And the heel bed is very comfortable.

Perfect shoe for bad feet - This is my second pair of the Lolita. It keeps my foot from flexing and making my already painful big toe more painful. They also look good. I'm so afraid I'm going to end up in those horrible "orthopedic shoes" so when Dansko comes out with an attractive shoe, I'm pleased.

Great place to buy!!! My first experience with Zappos was great ! So easy and fast delivery. I have had these sandals before and I was so glad that Zappos carried them because I needed them fast for vacation. The quality is the best and they last for a long time. If you want comfort and durability you must order Dansko shoes. I just told my daughter about Zappos and she is going to order shoes too. Thank you Zappos!!!

Love this shoe - I started with the light tan and love this shoe so much that I promptly ordered black and red. I walk only, and this shoe is very comfortable. It is cute enough to wear with skirts and has really sparkled my wardrobe. It was instantly comfortable, and I have worn only this shoe since I bought it! I highly recommend the Lolita. I've received several compliments on the shoe. Buy it now!

I love this shoe so much I have it in 3 colors. They are not only fashionable but support me all day at work. I have a job that keeps me on my feet, I don't sit for 5 to 6 hour stretches, and I am never fatigued when I wear these sandals. I highly recommend them.

I have worn Dansko clogs for many years and always wanted to try these sandals. I got the black in a size smaller than I usually wear in the closed back clogs. At first I was not sure whether they were the right size, but when I tried the size up, I was convinced. They are very comfortable, I wore them all day the first day and I like the fact that they are casual but smart looking.

I just got these today after only ordering the sandals 2 days ago! Zappos expedited the shipping, which was great! I bought the 36 and I ware 6 1/2 - 7 US. They fit perfectly. I would definitely buy these again in another color.

Born - please get your act together!
I think Born shoes are excellent quality - BUT, they are very unpredictable in sizing and general fit. This is a nice sandal, not glam, but handsome enough. The footbed was comfy, the size of the footbed was right, but the straps were much too loose, and there was no way to do anything to adjust them. Rats!

I had knee replacement surgery last Aug. and wanted a sandal for this summer that would be comfortable, look fairly decent and be supportive as the last thing I need is to twist an ankle and fall down! I purchased this sandal in black early in the summer and have been wearing them to work almost every day because when I think of wearing a less supportive shoe it's a little frightening. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone wanting comfort and support. I am rather flat footed so shoes like Birkenstocks can actually have more arch than my flat foot can tolerate, but this shoe stays on and feels fantastic!

LOVE DANSKO!!
This is a lovely, comfortable sandal for comfy wear AND looking good. The only question I have about it is that I'm still not sure whether I should be wearing an 8 or 8 1/2. I bought the 8 1/2, which fits well, but may be a bit loose. However, I think the 8 may have been a little tight. Otherwise, I recommend this range of shoes.

Ouch!!
I bought this shoe on Dansko's comfort tradition. I have another sandal I bought from them years ago that I just love and was trying to find a replacement. I have problem feet to begin with. (bunions and wide feet). After wearing these around the house, I thought they would be okay but as soon as I wore them to work on concrete I regretted it. I cannot stand to work in these for more than 4 hours max.! My pinky toe starts to poke through the straps and the bottom of my feet start to ache so bad that it hurts to walk. I wish I hadn't worn them on concrete because now I definitely will not get my money's worth out of them. Ashame because it is a cute looking shoe.

Okay, I have two pairs of these sandals (in black and pink) and I love Dansko Clogs normally. I wear a normal width sized 10 shoe and in Dansko I order up one size to a 41. So have these two in 41s. I find them a bit tight, so there is a "breaking in" period. “Bloaty” feet days aren't too fun, but the comfort level is pretty good still for being a sandal. I get compliments and they are cute, yet bulky. So it works for the larger sized foot gals who don't like dainty shoes. The leather stretches over time, which works to our advantage. I find my pinky toes get squished, again a "breaking in" issue. It takes about a month of wearing or longer to break in. My only other issue is that these do not have quite the same arch support as their professional clogs or other shoes. They are a bit on the flat side, so sometimes my arches will hurt bearing all my weight for long periods of time. I would've hoped for a bit more arch support, so it is very difficult to do. But if I remember, I'll use orthotics and hope no one sees them through my sandals. They are a 6.5 or 7 out of 10, a 10 if they had better arch support.

Incredibly comfortable, I normally prefer barefoot to wearing shoes, but I can comfortably wear these shoes all day long and never feel the need to kick them off like I do most shoes.

Awesome sandals!
Very comfortable. Takes a few days to get used to the weight, they are heavier than you would think. Length is true to size, but upper might be about a half size larger. Very comfy!!!

Overall a nice shoe. I normally wear a size 39 and ordered a 40 by mistake. The 40 turned out to be perfect in this particular shoe. I am pleased with it.

Very Comfortable and a Little Clunky -
I really love the comfort of my Dansko Lolitas...very comfortable and lots of support. I walked all over Disneyland for several days in these sandals, and they were great. However, I have been teased a little about the appearance. My sister called them "Hello Kitty" shoes, whatever that means...and another person laughingly commented that they looked like sandals she wore when she was a little girl. Now I feel slightly self-conscious when I wear them, but still wear them all the time anyway.

I had these shoes for YEARS and they still look new. I have them in black and brown and I can dress them up or down and they give me a little height. Plus, they are SO unbelievably comfortable. What a great investment.

Size 8 looks large and heavy -
The cute picture does not accurately depict the heaviness of Lolita, almost clodhopper-ish sole. However, the straps are beautiful and give good support. If you have trouble finding comfortable sandals, try “Lolita”.

They run wide but hey, they are sandals; I don't consider them a serious walking shoe. I will wear them around and may just order another color.

Pretty sandal, but sizing was off -
First, I've been wearing nothing but Professional clogs for over a year because of a Morton's Neuroma and pain in the first toe joint on my left foot that is agonizing in any other shoes. The clogs virtually healed that foot, so I was looking for a sandal that would be similar. I ordered the Lolitas in Pomegranate, but with the first pair, one shoe was looser than the other. (This is not unusual from what I understand with Dansko - they are handmade shoes and sometimes you have to buy more than one pair in the same size before you get a pair that fits.) When I called Zappos, they were AWESOME. They sent me a new pair, a mailing label for the return, and upgraded my shipping. Needless to say, I will be a loyal Zappos customer forever! The new pair fit, but after wearing them for the weekend, they feel heavy. The leather is very scratchy and my feet are sore. I realize there is a break-in period despite what the other reviewers have found. I am going to moisturize the leather to soften it. I also ordered a pair of Sissy sandals because I need a lighter shoe for the summer in case these don't work out. Yeah to Zappos in any case for their GREAT SERVICE!

Lolitas are the best -
I have 5 other styles of Dansko and these are far and above the most comfortable. I now have two different colors of Lolita and will buy more as I can afford it. I can wear these all day and my feet never hurt. I have walked miles in them on vacations.
