I have the grey camo and just ordered the white camo. I get lots of compliments on these shoes. They are very comfortable and required no break in period.

Not for long periods on your feet!
Although the shoe is completely adorable and very light-weight, I found the footbed padding to be almost non-existent and therefore not comfortable for extended periods of standing (e.g. while at a concert). However, I think there's enough room to add a store-bought pad (Dr. Scholl's or comparable), which I hope will enable me to wear them for any occasion.

a functional shoe that's cute?!
LOVE the look of this shoe. Great for the casual worker-outer. Don't try to run a marathon or scale a mountain in them, but perfectly fine for the gym, jogging, kickboxing, whatever. Plus they look cute with jeans. Versatile!

Definitely smaller than norm -
Shoe is definitely smaller than normal size. I wear a size nine and 99.9% of my shoes are this size. The Gravis size 9 did not fit. I am reordering a whole size larger. Love the look of the shoe.

This is such a great shoe. It's totally light weight and comfortable. I usually wear a 9.5 and purchased this shoe in that size and it fit perfectly. Although Gravis does have their own website I will continue to buy this brand on Zappos for the great prices!

My fave every-day sneaker -
I love these sneakers. They are super comforatble and look really hot. Plus, Gravis shoes are made in the USA which is great and a rarity nowadays since most sneakers are made in third world contries where workers are overworked and underpaid. I just bought my second pair because I wore the first pair to the bone. I like the lighter color better which go dirty pretty fast which is the only wack thing about them. They work in the gym too but are better for just walking around and looking cool.

Sick of new balance/saucony -
Hey all, I’m writing a review because Zappos is cool, they shipped my shoes out second day air just because they are nice. These sneakers are nice. I am sick of new balance and sauconys. Everybody has 'em. Granted, a lot of people probably have these sneakers too, but I have yet to see someone wearing them. They are comfortable and stuff. True to size. I’m usually a 7.5 and these sneakers are a 7.5 and fit me fine.

Sweet tennies but hard to match -
I love these shoes, but they are hard to match up...the burgendy is a great color, but it's hard to match, I'll love them more when I find the right colors to go with them.

I absolutely love Gravis shoes. They are practical, comfortable, and have sick designs. They don't have their own website, so I am glad that I found yours to buy them from. You have a good selection and your site is so easy to use, and I feel like you guys are honest.

Love Gravis shoes -
This is the second pair of Gravis sneakers I've purchased. I use the old (kind of) ugly pair to work in landscaping. The support and comfort are amazing. I have fallen arches and rather unstable joints and the "perimeter support footbed" rocks my world, or rather, stabilizes it. Very comfortable - not the most cushiony but they are stylish and holding up pretty well - the laces never come loose or untie - they're breathable... ACES all the way for these Makani's

Funky fresh sneakers -
These sneakers are great, they are definitely vintage-looking and unique. I would recommend these as a street sneaker and not for work or exercise. I absolutely love them!

Gravis Makani is great -
I recently bought these shoes on a whim - I wasn't familar with Gravis, but loved the look. I began wearing them that day and have been very pleased with the feel; they are very comfortable. For folks like myself who struggle to find comfy and fun shoes, this is a great find.

Not the best shoe -
Ok, so these shoes are cute yet, they are not the most comphy; Gravis used to make the insoles of they're shoes a lot better, they had a perimeter arch support system and they felt like they were giving your foot a little hug. I am a hairstylist and need this kind of thing... I can see if you are a skater or are younger and possibly don't care about this stuff than you are fine with a cute shoe with no substance. But, if you are used to the old Gravis or are looking for your tried and true Gravis, you're not going to find it here...
