I absolutely LOVE my new Keens!!! We go camping and kayaking so I was looking for a shoe that could transition from a trail to the water, this shoe is it. I had been taking tennis shoes with socks for the trails and flip flops for the water, which wasn’t working out well. This way I only have to take one pair of shoes and don’t have to make my feet hot with socks. It’s comfortable and dries fast. I usually alternate between 8 1/2 and 9, in these I took the 8 1/2. When you take them off to dry, I suggest you tip them up. Water tends to gather in the toe if you don’t. I also wore mine around the house for a couple of days just to make sure there wasn’t going to be any blistering. There was one spot that rubbed a little red, but it was fine. Overall... I wish I could afford to have many more Keen’s.

I thought reviewers were exaggerating when they said that they wore these shoes out of the box and just kept on hoofing throughout the coming months. I am now one of those reviewers. Got these shoes a month ago and have worn them daily since. I'm a size 10 and decided to go with that exact size despite the previous warnings. It fit perfectly! They're roomy in the toes and never rub in the back. The only drawback is that if you walk for a really long time in the hot, hot sun, then your feet might start cooking. Love these and probably will get another pair.

These are the best shoes! I wear them constantly and they are so comfortable. I've walked miles in them and haven't gotten a blister or experienced any discomfort. Awesome for being in the water too. I'm thinking about getting another pair because I love these so much!

I was very pleased with how quickly I received my Keens! This is my first pair. I bought my daughter an identical pair the following week. These are comfortable and a great color (lime green)-BUT the shoe is much wider than my foot, so I feel a little clompy when I walk. But they are great and I get compliments on them when I wear them. I bought them for camping and canoeing and they have been perfect for that purpose!

Love ‘em! I just adore Keens, they are my favorite shoe. These Newports are no exception. If you are looking for a good solid walking sandal, these are for you. They are not delicate, but they are funky. The toe box is wide as usual and the support is there for walking miles. I wore these on vacation to Colorado and was pleased. I have gotten them wet and they do dry quickly. I appreciate the good traction. I originally bought the green shade and didn’t care for it, I felt it was too bright. Zappos was great on the return. Orange is my favorite color, but its price was higher. Opted to pay more for the orange pair and I am not sorry!

I love these sandals! I was looking for a good pair of walking sandals, comfortable and non-leather. These come in different colors; the orange I got is great – bright, but not overbearing. The first wearing, I went on a 7 mile walk on city streets. Sooo comfortable. I wear a 5.5 B, a bit on the wide side. Fit was perfect. I recommend these sandals highly.

Perfect shoe for walking in areas that tend to get wet, sandy, or muddy - parks, beaches, etc. Also, great urban walking shoe. Down side: a bit hard to get one - sort of a tug and pull and as others have commented, the feet tend to get hot.

I have a pair of these and LOVE them - they’re pretty close to the only pair of shoes I wear from spring through fall. The pair I already own is about a half size bigger than what I normally wear, but when I purchased them, half sizes were not available. Thinking that my usual size (the half-size) would fit, I ordered this pair as my back-up for when I wear out my first favorite pair. Unfortunately, for me, they really DO appear to run about a half size smaller than marked. I love this shoe and will likely purchase another pair in the size I currently have, when I can find it (not available on Zappos at the moment).

I bought these shoes for a trip to Kauai and they were my BEST purchase. I highly recommend them for hiking, as they work well on sand, rock, clay... wet or dry. I’ve also enjoyed them upon my return home for just taking walks in the neighborhood.

Wish we had these when we were in Hawaii last December -- my daughter stubbed her toes on underwater rocks in the morning and that put a stop to her snorkeling for that day. Plus, it hurt her a lot! I bought these for my entire family for an upcoming summer vacation -- Galapagos Islands. They were suggested/requested by travel company. They are very comfortable and I expect that they will do exactly what is promised; PROTECT OUR TOES in the water. My husband does, however, think his feet don't "breathe" as much as he would like (he is used to Tevas).

Love them!
These shoes fit great. I have a narrow foot and I am able to tighten the "bungee" type cord for a more secure fit. Extremely comfortable & durable!

Beach shoes -
I own several pairs and I have been wearing them to the beach. They are excellent to wear in the water, no fear of cutting feet on broken shells, etc. Very comfortable.

Great shoe!
I have bad feet and usually have to wear walking shoes with orthotics. These fit and give such good support that I can wear them most of the day in comfort.

These are so comfortable and feel almost like running shoes without being hot and sticky. I tried several of the Keen styles (Newport mule/slide, Venice and Mystic) only to find that the Newport H2 fits my foot the best. The Newport has springy soles and great arch support (very important for my high arches and painful bunion). The elastic cord makes them very adjustable across the top of the foot. I take a 6.5 or 7 - mostly 7's, but the 6.5 fit me the best: snug and supportive without being tight. The grey sole with the lighter, brighter color (green) makes them more summery and just a little less clunky, if that's possible. I feel like I could spend days walking in them without any pain - my feet are very happy so far!

Most comfortable shoes I have ever had -
I love these shoes. I have narrow feet and the Newport H2 has enough straps to hold my feet in place and to give support even though they are medium width.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I have found nothing like these shoes. The Keen Venice does not work for me.

Great summer must have!
I love these shoes! They are very comfortable, easy to get on and off, and provide just enough coverage for hiking/biking while still allowing air to circulate. Not sure how they wash yet, but if the other reviews are accurate, I'm not worried.

These were very comfortable, easy to adjust, and supportive, but I couldn’t get past the strong chemical/sweet vanilla smell of the footbed so sent these back and kept the Teva Omnium instead. All of the Keens I’ve tried have been very comfy on my hard-to-fit arthritic feet! And Zappos is the best!!!

I bought the green ones, first pair of Keens I've owned. So far I love them. Very comfortable and good arch support. I'm a dog walker so I need something good for my feet. Haven't tried them without socks yet but hoping I can wear them without. I'm now a Keen fan!!

Great for hiking/camping -
Bought these shoes to take camping and light hiking with my family. Very happy with the fit--I have high arches and can sometimes have problems getting shoes that support my feet well. Also, these are comfortable to hike in when wet and dry very quickly. I wore them all weekend without any blisters.

I wear a women’s size 11 and have tried several pairs of Keens only to be disappointed with the sizing--they run really short and a little wide. These are tolerable. They probably could be a little longer for my foot; perhaps because the fact that they are sandals helps. Otherwise, this shoe is very comfortable, machine washable; I could wear them every day.

I wear keen Newports most of the late spring, summer, and early fall. I have a pair for the river, a pair for casual, a pair for light hiking. They are one of the best shoes I have ever worn. The Newport H2O protects your feet in the river or on the trail. Traction is great, comfort is great. Can't be without this shoe!!!

I already had a pair so knew what I was getting in to. Just expanding my color range. I love them for the comfort, as well as being hip. I have friends who stare and say "where do you buy your shoes".
