I love these shoes! I spend a lot of time in Hawaii, hiking and kayaking, so I wanted a waterproof sandal-type shoe. I have plantar faciatis and these are the only shoes that give me the arch support I need for my outdoor activities. I have tried other Keen styles such as Keen Whisper but the Keen Newport gives me the most stability. I also tried Ahnu Tilden II, my foot slipped about a lot. I just wish they made the Keen Newport in black! I have not found any other brands that work as well as the Keen Newport.

I ordered these shoes for my Disney World trip. I ordered my regular size after hearing they run wide. The fit was perfect! I did have a break in period for a day or so, but other than that, no problems at all. I have had so many compliments on them, and many questions as to where I purchased them. My response was, Zappos.com! Wonderful service, perfect shoe, timely processing. Thank you!

I love the looks of the Newport; look good on, but they just don't fit my foot very well. The footbed has a curve to it and my heels would ride on the outside up-curve which was uncomfortable. I normally wear a 7.5 - 8 and the 8 was a good fit, except the heel. I tried a Venice and it fits my foot much better at a true size 8. Very comfortable; needs no break-in period and looks good. Love Zappos service and quick shipping! Love Keens comfort! Thanks!

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable. I did order 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. I wore these on the beach, around town, have had them soaked several times and they look and feel great. Everyone should have a pair!

I ordered the Keen Newport for a recent trip to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons. I took the advice of others who reviewed this style and ordered a half size larger then I normally wear, and the fit was just right. In fact you could probably go a whole size larger then normal, especially if one of your feet is a little larger then the other like mine. The strap around my left ankle bothered me a little (maybe to close rubbing). Other than that, they felt great right away, lots of comfortable toe space and very good arch support. I normally wear tennis shoes or hiking boots for trail walking, so I loved the not so confining feeling as these offer the same support but are more like a sandal. My only complaint is that little rocks kept getting inside the shoe, so I had to take them off a few times and shake them out!

Excellent service, super fast shipment. Product is exactly as described, great shoe. Appreciate the offer of paying shipping on returns. That's a great feature. The return shipping costs can be a huge factor for mail order.

Right out of the box, these sandals were the most comfortable I have ever worn. I took everyone\'s advice and ordered a half size larger than I normally would have, and they fit perfectly. The insole is highly cushioned and cradles my feet. The sandals stay on well enough that I can run in them while doing dog sports and the sole provides great traction. I love how the interior liner provides a little color punch to the shoe. Great sandal!

These shoes exceeded my expectation! They were very comfortable. I wore them everyday during a 2 week vacation to California and Seattle including hiking, beach and boating. I also felt like they helped my posture with all the walking I did in them. Zappo\'s had the better color and size selection than all the other online sellers.

I bought these for my 11 year old son and he wore them throughout Europe on vacation. He said he loved them and were comfy as donuts on his feet. I've never seen him with donuts on his feet, though. Great fit and sized right.

We are definately KEEN ON KEENS! I have 3 pairs of the Newport, two leather and one canvas and also a pair of the Mystic. I LOVE THEM ALL. My husband is a guy who has to break in his tennis shoes. I got him a pair of Keen Newports, he put them on, didn't break them in and wears them everyday. I am getting ready to order another pair for me (the Whisper this time) and another pair of Newports for him. Zappos is the best for selection of colors and sizes, not to mention their excellent customer service. Thank you Zappos.

Keen Newport - This is my first pair of Keen Newport's and won't be my last. I ordered them while I was in Utah hiking after seeing them on other hikers and guides and it was the best thing I did for myself while away. They are so comfortable; there's no "breaking in" time and they are cute! They were so covered with red dirt when I got home. Believe it or not, I put them in the washing machine as I do with sneakers and they came out like new. I wear a 5 1/2 size shoe and ordered these in same size and they fit perfectly.

My first Keens. Already tried them at Volcanoes Park on Hawai'i. Very happy with traction, not so much about not enough room for big toes. They stick out a lot and it took me a while to get used to them touching the shoe. I ordered Newports also for my parents and my mom had the same problem. (I guess I have her big toes). I found these sandals heavy at first, but got used to them in about a day. Now I wear them also casually. They are very practical and would highly recommend them. My dad fell in love with his so much, he wanted to buy the 2nd pair a week after I gave him the first one.

I bought these shoes for a wilderness canoe trip and they certainly delivered! They were great for getting the canoes in and out of the water and provided sufficient traction and support on rocky terrain. They were very comfortable and dried fairly fast. I also have a higher arch and the molded foot bed provides enough support for me to wear them all day. Several people mentioned that the shoe runs small. I did not find that to be true. I wear a size 8 in all other shoes and found the 8 to fit better than the 8.5. \r\n\r\nI bought the kids version for my 3 boys and they love them as well. Even my hard to fit 11 year old thinks they\'re awesome!!

I love this shoe! It fit well straight from the box. No rubbing. My feet are wide and this shoe accommodated my feet well. Good toe protection and easy to adjust the lacing system.

It is an understatement that these run small. I am a 5.5 in every other shoe and needed a 6.5 for the length. However the ankle strap came up so high all the way around that it felt like I was wearing a boot. As it turns out the youth size 5 is perfect. The youth version is cut much lower around the ankle and the youth 5 is approx the same length as an adult 6.5 - limited color selection though. Thank you Zappos for putting up with my exchanges to get it right.

These Keens are awesome! I thought I wouldn't be able to get them to fit right due to having narrow feet, but after trying several styles, chose this leather version in a neutral clay color. When traveling with luggage and in busy airports toes often get crunched...but now my feet stay cool and my toes stay safe! I like a good arch support and these deliver that too. I was hoping to wear these mostly without socks, but do prefer them with socks -- perhaps my skin is just more sensitive than others. Was the only shoe I brought on a 10-day vacation and never once did my feet hurt. Got a pair for my husband and daughter too. We're a "Keen" family now.

I bought a pair of these comfortable, not too cute shoes last summer. I notice hardly any breakdown on them and trust they will last another summer of ocean, lake, and hiking fun. Great quality, totally worth the money. One draw back I have experienced - during water/dirt activities, rocks and sand get stuck inside the front protective toe.

As recommended I purchased a 1/2 size up. I always wear a size 7.5, but I ordered the size 8 and it fits perfect. Just enough room in the toe - but not too much room. Great arch support.

I love Keen sandals and have owned several pairs, the last of which was purchased 2 years ago. They have always been true to size. However, when I purchased this new pair in my regular size 7, they were too short. I guess I would need at least a 7.5, but I don't like these sandals enough to order another size. They are very chunky sandals, much more so than any other Keens I own. They have a very wide look, though not a wide fit, and are heavy and stiff. I ordered a pair in the Whisper style, instead, and like them much better!

I got these shoes for boating (nonslip), and I just love them. I do wear them for other activities too. True to size as well (I have another pair of Keen's). Also, my feet are wide, and these are very comfortable, giving enough room and support. The color choices are cool too. You can't go wrong with these.

I bought a pair of Keen Newports for both my husband and myself. Ordered them a 1/2 size larger based on previous reviews, and they are terrific. They are great for water and dry land both. They are also roomy and comfortable. My husband also likes his - which is saying a lot. He hasn't worn a sandal of any type in many years. I definitely would recommend them to anyone - especially if you are living around water!

This is my second pair of Keen Newport. I wore my first pair almost every day for five years and they are showing a little wear on the sole. The shoes definitely will outlast the elastic, which I had to replace a couple of years ago. Always worn with Smart Wool socks.

Awesome everyday shoe -
Purchased this pair to replace a pair of Keens I had purchased 8 years ago. They were still in great shape, but I realized they were actually purchased too small. These are awesome. LOVE the stone color. The left shoe felt a bit odd at first and was uncomfortable. After some minor adjustments all is well. I wear them walking, on coral, in the ocean, you name it!

The perfect shoe!
I cannot tell you how much I love this shoe. It is comfortable, looks cool and takes you through city wear or outdoor excursions. The fit is great. I have a wide foot and the size of this shoe is considered normal/average (B) instead of (W) for wide. However, it is a roomy shoe and would work well for those with size (C or D) wide feet. That is what I was looking for and I found it. So, I love this shoe/sandal and wear them all the time. They are comfortable out of the box.
