Disappointing sandal -
I ordered this shoe from Zappos last summer and thought that I'd finally found a comfortable, well-fitting sandal. They were fine until I wore them in the city. After walking 3-4 blocks, they hurt my feet. So, they linger in my closet waiting to be given or thrown away.! I have a long, narrow foot with very narrow heel, which makes fitting difficult. I've had mixed results with Trotters. When I find a style that fits well and is comfortable, I often order the same style of shoe in a different color, or a second pair in the same color, but I can't rely on it's being the same.

Like Trotters Louise, these sandals were a disappointment. Unlike the trotters sandals in the past, these were stiff and killed my feet. What happened to the nice, soft pliable leather used in the past? I still have them in every color - although they are all a little worn.

Trotters's Lane - Wide was too wide -
I often wear Trotters shoes because I need a wide shoe and they typically run true to size. These shoes, however, were a little too wide so they slipped on my feet causing blisters. Had to really pull in the back strap and finally gave up and threw them away. This shoe did not work out for me, but I still highly recommend other Trotters shoes. They did look great with capris and shorts, fun casual sandal.

I love the look of this shoe and it seems comfortable, but have flat, narrow feet and it was just too wide for me to wear even in a narrow. I wish it came in 3A. I ordered it in natural, and it seemed darker than pictured, more of a tan but still pretty. I love Zappos!

Wide enough -
The WW is a perfect and rare fit for my wide short feet and I walked miles comfortably the first day I got them. The delicate sole and stacked-look heel don't feel thin or hard but give a soft and slightly springy step. Unlike most 'comfort' shoes these look feminine with pretty lacy leather details -- and the price: wow.

A very cute shoe--I tried them in N first, and they were too narrow, but liked them enough to exchange for M--I've found that Trotters tend to run narrow, at least in the two styles I have. The brown is a great shade of brown--goes with many different things. Zappos has the best customer service--I'll never go to a shoe store again.

I made the mistake of wearing the sandal to work and had no other shoes to change to. By the end of the day my toes and side of feet were burning in pain. I bought to pair and will be returning the ones I have not worn. I will throw away the ones I have worn.

Good for extra wide feet.
I have a real challenge finding stylish shoes for my double wide feet. These work well and even look good!
