Nice shoe in general, just okay for Charles David -
I got this style as a gift, and the shoes are nice, but do seem to run a little big, especially if you have narrow feet, because they slide down into the top of the shoe too much, leaving a gap at the back of the shoe. They are well made, with a good upper and heel. I ordered the pink, and it was more of a bright pink (pepto bismol) than I had seen from the picture, but in the darker navy and black this shouldn't be as much of a problem. On the upside, the buckle detail is adorable and the grommets around it are both unique and give the shoe a funky edge. I have worn this shoe with everything from white sailor pants to short shorts and dresses, so it is versatile. I think that this shoe would be perfect to accent longer toes or longer shapely feet. Unfortunately, mine are small and narrow, so I can't benefit as much! Not the best I've seen from Charles David, but they definitely look very cute, and are quite comfortable to walk around in on a daily basis.
