5 stars not enough, give it a 10!!
I received the black suede Wescot by accident, having ordered the black leather. After I slipped them on I was stunned by the absolutely perfect fit. A 9 1/2 4A is hard to find, and I felt like Cinderella! I discovered I had several things to wear this little boot with, and wore it the next day, all day on an airplane round trip to Dallas. There was no break-in time needed. I can't wait to receive my leather Wescot’s! Very classy, sleek, and comfortable!

Please Rev up the Cobblers!
This is the first shoe I've worn in years that hugs and holds my skinny feet. I don't walk out of them, and their wide heels are very stabile. This style is such a winner that it should be made perennially for those of us who can't find anything else that fits. I stuff heavy innersoles in them to pick up any slack and for arch support. Please keep them coming.

Magic Magdesians!
These are one of the most comfortable shoes I own - along with my several other pairs of Magdesians. I have "not-so-delicate" feet, but these make my feet look elegant. They are perfect for work - I can walk around all day in them. They look just as good with jeans as a dressy suit.

Very Nice Looking -
I ordered this as I needed a shoe that covered my foot better in cold and rainy weather. This is perfect. It is much more attractive in person than in the picture. It is unique and the materials look very nice. Because the shoe is higher on the foot, it feels different than my other Magdesians. Nevertheless, it is still comfortable. I already wore it with my pant suit to work on a rainy day and it was perfect.

Attractive and comfortable:
I have 2 pairs of this shoe and find it a bit difficult to put on, but use a shoe horn. Once on, it is a very comfortable shoe and really good looking with slacks.

Finally - comfort and fashion in the same box!
For those of us with extremely narrow feet, here is a shoe that hugs the foot, provides stability with a wide heel base, AND it looks great! Please don't ever discontinue this shoe. It's a real winner! I want to order a pair in each color, but you're sold out . . .

Great-- but Narrow!
Great shoe, very very comfortable. However, I thought it was a bit narrow. I bought this for winter, and planned to wear it with a light trouser sock. I could barely get my foot into the medium width with a sock on. Fortunately, it comes in a lot of widths so I just returned it for a wider width. Love Zappos return policy! Nothing is faster and easier. Once I got one of these shoes in the correct size, I just love them. Very very comfortable and stylish. I take mass transit to work and need a good shoe that I can walk more than a few blocks in, but that also looks good for the office. This is perfect!

Great looking shoe that would go with jeans or dressier HOWEVER the sole is so thin and I have an almost narrow and the shoe was tight across the base of my toes--RETURNED.

Made for Walking -
I Love Magdesians! I have several pairs and this style is no different. COMFORT! COMFORT! COMFORT! After wearing for a few minutes (no breaking-in period required), these were as comfy as an old pair of slippers. I have purchased some 25 items from Zappos. Their return policy is amazing, as is the service.

Ideal for orthotics -
It's very difficult to find a classy shoe when you wear orthotics. This shoe has a high back which means that raising your heel with an orthotic inside the shoe will not result in having the back slide off your heel when you walk. Sandals don't conceal the orthotic, so the closed instep on this shoe is perfect. Because it comes to a stylish point at the toe, it was necessary for me to ship back my size 8WW and order an exchange for size 8 1/2 WW. This exchange was handled promptly at no extra charge. Finally, this shoe gives excellent support to foot and lower ankle, a design absolutely necessary if I'm to wear anything other than a perfectly flat shoe. I really love the look and the comfort this shoe gives me.

Blister within an hour -
Great looking shoe. Wore them from my house to the car to the museum and within that hour the heel was already painful. During the next hour the shoe had rubbed my ankle raw. It took weeks for it to heal. However, Zappos just credited my account after I returned them with no problems.

I love the look of this shoe and the incredible way it fits my narrow foot, especially at the heel. When I read other reviews that indicated it was a good narrow shoe, I immediately ordered it and it was perfect for me. My only wish is that it was a bit more cushioned.
I ordered a Naturalizer shoe in narrow and had to return it as it was too wide for me.
This was my first time trying Magdesian, and I'll definitely try some of their other styles.
I've always found it very difficult to find narrow shoes in stores, so I was thrilled to find your website. My experience was very positive and I'll be ordering again soon. I gave up ordering from catalogs because of the return shipping costs. Your return policy is great and easy.

Sharp-looking but uncomfortable -
This shoe has a good look to it...stylish and up to date. But the heel leather is extremely stiff and is cut too high. Within an hour, I had a major sore spot on the back of my ankle. Maybe you will find these comfortable, but I sure didn't.

A really good looking shoe, especially with slacks.The leather is very supple, and the elastic bands keep the shoe firmly in place. However, it is a little difficult to put on, perhaps that will change with longer wear.

Perfect walking shoe, yet dressy enough for a suit -
This low boot-style shoe is comfortable and walking is easy. I wear an extra wide width, and this is the perfect width in WW. When it is too chilly for heels in the winter, this is the perfect shoe to wear to dinner with a dress pant. Excellent shoe!

FABULOUS SHOE!
I ordered these with some doubt, after reading other reviews that said they felt narrower (and smaller) than marked. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! I have a very wide, flat foot and finding any kind of good-looking, fashionable shoe (other than a sneaker) is always a challenge. These FIT LIKE A GLOVE! I couldn't believe it when I tried them on! I walked around my home in them for an hour, doing chores and forgot they were on my feet! Then I wore them to work the next day and they were even better! I work in Manhattan, do a LOT of walking, and these shoes never hurt, not once all day. THEY ROCK! :-)

Nice looking shoe to wear with slacks.
The leather on the shoe upper is very thin, which seemed odd at first but is actually nice because that makes the shoe very flexible. The heel leather however is stiff and comes up high on the heel which was uncomfortable for the first few wears and takes some getting used to.

fourth pair -
I have now bought four pair of this style over the last few years. It is the only closed shoe without ties or straps that I can wear. I have flat feet, narrow heel and I need toe room, especially at the base of my toes. This shoe fits like a glove, no gaps. I also have achilles heel tendonitis and this is the only closed heel shoe I can wear without pain.
