These shoes are wonderful! I teach small children and am on my feet all day. I have foot issues, so I choose my shoes carefully. These pass the test on every level for me. They are comfortable for long periods of time, they are maintaining their condition well, and they are cute! I love them.

Working in a middle school keeps me on my feet a lot! The only shoes I have found that are comfortable from the beginning of the day to the end, are Dansko. I probably have 7 pair, both clogs and mules. This style, \'Ingrid\' is the very best I have ever worn.

i fought with myself for 6 months wheather to buy these shoes everbody at my work was getting them even the doctors iam on feet for about 11 hours a day and my feet couldnt be happier that i finnaly decided to buy them my legs and feet arent nearly as tired at the end of the day and the service at zaapos well lets just say i wont be buying my shoes anywhere else the were wonderful.

As always, Zappos great customer service and next day delivery made shopping a pleasure. This Dansko mule is the most comfortable and true to size. I wear a size 7, and the 37 was perfect. No breaking in, wore them all day.

Great shoe! I had a pair of Sonia Dansko clogs before these and they lasted for 5 years of daily hard use before I got a small hole in the leather. I still wear them in the yard. The Ingrid is just as great.

As usual a fantastic customer service experience from zappos.com. They were out of my size in every Dankso style that I liked, but after requesting to be notified I got an email within three days saying they'd gotten more back in stock. So I ordered the Ingrid in the black oiled color. I have problem feet: fallen arches and my foot is wide at the top with a narrow heel so it's impossible to find shoes that don't give me horrible blisters or rub the skin on my heels totally raw. I was so fed up that I thought I'd try clogs. I wear an 8.5 and the 39 is perfect for me; roomy enough for some thick socks which I can see wanting in a few months' time, but my foot isn't slipping everywhere without socks either. That strap that can be pulled behind your heel is also great. It doesn't irritate my heel at all which is basically unheard of for me with shoes. And of course I don't have to say how comfortable Dankso shoes are. I live in NYC so I walk everywhere and with these clogs I don't get the lower back pain that is often the result of having totally flat feet. The customer service hits just kept on coming when after I ordered these, I got an email from Zappos saying they had upgraded me to 2 day shipping absolutely free. Ordered these Monday, got them Wednesday, wore them to work on Thursday and haven't taken them off since.

These are my favorite of all shoes. Supportive, comfortable, attractive, durable. I have a pair in black that I\'ve worn probably three days a week for two years, and they still look good. They\'re easy to slip on and off but they don\'t come off my foot when they shouldn\'t. Pretty soon every shoe I own will be Dansko, and that will be just fine with me.

Danskos are the only shoes I can waitress in, & I appreciate the convenience of Zappos (I don't have to spend a day running around town to find shoes). I usually wear the Sonja, but I really like Ingrid, too. I find them true to size; I have high arches & Sonjas are a little tight at first, but they do soften & they're working very well for me. Thanks Zappos!

I love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and provide me with really great support for my feet. Unlike other shoes, I don\'t get pain in my knees after wearing these shoes for an extended period of time. I am a solid size 9 in shoes. I bought this Dansko shoe in size 39 instead of size 40 based on the website representation that a US 9 translates to size 39 (even though at a shoe store I was told for another style of Dansko shoe that I was a 40). Although the size 39 fits me, I wish I had a little more room in the shoe. If I had to buy them over again, I\'d definitely get size 40.

I literally just received these shoes 5 minutes ago and am already in love with them. Order your size and don't size up. I ordered a size up based on reviews and they seemed clunky and heavy and was not sure if I would like them. Yesterday I reordered my size 35 (I consistently wear size 5) and they fit perfect and look and feel great! As always Zappos had the new ones here the next day so there is no need for me to ever go anywhere to shoe shop. Size 5 is not the easiest to find so I love Zappos because they always have my size! Free shipping and returns, how great is that?! Now I only have to go out to show off my new shoes!

After reading the previous reviews about the shoes running small, I went to a local retailer to try them on, and I did have to go with a size larger. So please keep this in mind when ordering. I was able to wear these to work, 3 days straight with no pain or discomfort. I am a hairstylist, and usually with new shoes, I have to bring an extra pair with me for about a week while I'm breaking the new pair in. This was not the case with the Dansko's. Very comfortable, good arch support. I will be ordering more pairs!

Not only do I love my clogs but you cannot find better service. Zappos is really the best. The service is fast and accurate without any complications like you would get from other companies. I always know what I want when buying, so choosing isn't a problem for me. They always carry what you want and never leave you disappointed.

I have had severe back and hip pain for several months. It was getting so bad that I couldn't sleep, and I was hobbling every time I stood after sitting for even a few minutes. I have been wearing these shoes all the time since I got them last week. The pain in my back and hips is nearly gone. Break in does take a little while. The first day, I wore them with socks for about 16 hours of standing/fast walking (which we all know is too much time for a new pair of shoes!). The next day, the tops of my feet were sore, as well as the widest parts of my feet at the sides. I wore them to a baseball game the next day, and by the seventh inning stretch, they were completely comfortable. I have been happily wearing them ever since.
Fit:
I am usually an 8.5 wide. The 40 (marked on the size chart as US 9.5/10) fits perfectly in the Ingrid Antique Brown/Black Outsole. Like other reviewers, I would say that this shoe must run small for Dansko, because I also ordered the Professional Oiled in a 40, but had to return it for a smaller size.
Look:
I dress very casually, but I do like shoes that add a little bit of height. I look for comfortable shoes which can be dressed up or down. This shoe looks great with jeans, and works well with anything from a T-shirt to a dressy top. The oiled leather is a really nice shade of brown, too.
Value:
Although this shoe is pricey, it is a lot cheaper than missing time at work due to pain or having surgery. My fiancé and I both work in surgery, and have noticed that many people who come in for knee and hip replacement surgeries have feet that appear to have been damaged over time by improper shoes. That is only an observation, not a statement that good shoes will prevent the need for surgery, but we feel that well-made, well-fitting, supportive shoes are an important part of overall health. I consider these shoes a good investment based on the change in my pain level since ordering.
Customer service note about Zappos:
Zappos customer service is always excellent. If I found the same shoe for slightly less elsewhere, I would probably still order from Zappos. The customer service is always wonderful, and that level of service is truly hard to find! And they ship so quickly! It's hard to go wrong with Zappos.

Hey these shoes are the best nursing shoes ever. If you are a half size i.e. 7.5 get the 38 size because they don’t come in half sizes. I prefer the slip on with the strap over the closed back Danskos because I like to slip them on and off and personally the closed back has a higher uncomfortable inner arch whereas these don’t have a high arch...if you’re used to wearing crocs these will suit just fine!!!

The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship -
The Ingrid is a do-everything-clog. The straps allow you to walk securely at a brisk pace. For me this shoe needed breaking in, but not much a few days with socks and the shoe forms to the foot. As a true clog it will feel tight at the beginning but after a break-in period this is a comfortable all-day shoe.

Nice shoe... however, do not order down. If you have high arches, this is not the shoe for you. I have had mine over a year and hoped that the arches would give a bit but they haven't. Sadly, I can only wear them for short periods.

Love these clogs!
I bought these for work (I work 12-hour shifts in a hospital) and they are just what I needed.
Comfortable, great support and nice looking. The only thing I would suggest, as others have, is to order up a size. I wear a 6.5-7 in regular sizes and initially ordered a 37, but returned for a 38, which fit perfectly.

Great shoe and great service -
These are simply the best shoes I have ever worked in. they last forever and the support is good up until the end. I have found that tennis shoes do not hold up to the rigors of my job and have to replace too often. I can get at least 2 years of full time work out of these...yeah! Also, thanks again to customer service. They always come through and do the right thing. This keeps me coming back time and time again.

Love them!
These are great - comfy! You can walk all over the city in them and the best part about this particular style is that the strap/buckle can go behind the heel for a more secure fit (wore them to a concert and needed to do this). They take a few days to get used to, but I'm very happy with them.

This is my second pr, I LOVE THEM -
I love the comfort of this shoe! The arch support is perfect for me, if I wear other clogs without it, I would need my orthotics, not a great look. I have purchased others costing more, these are my favorite. At first, across the top feels a little tight, wear them in graduated lengths of time for a few hours and that area will conform to your foot. Enjoy.

Forget to take them off -
I've always loved clogs and have the black Danskos with closed back but to be honest have not worn them a whole lot, they are clunky and my pants leg hangs up on the back. But, these Ingrids are perfect and I want to wear them every day. On the first day or two I felt my bunion rub them a little, and I found that I need thicker socks with them. I wear 8 1/2, and ordered the 8, but it was too small, so had to get the 9. But I love them, and I am a really super picky shoe wearer with my bunion and wide foot issues. I do almost forget to take them off when I get home. I think they are cute with the strap and buckle with my boot cut jeans and pants.
