The shoes fit quite well per size and width. There are not spots that seem to rub or otherwise cause any irritation. The inner material is not quite as comfortable as some other brands - however they also cost more. I guess you get what you pay for. I have had several pair of Rockports before and have always been happy with the purchase. They do outlast some of the other major brands.

My dad loves these shoes, and I couldn't find them anywhere. I remember a coworker of mine raving on and on about this cool shoe site she'd bought things from, so I logged on to Zappos.com and voila! The shoes were an early Christmas present for my Dad! Yay!

Never bought Rockport shoes before; read a few reviews on these Prowalkers and liked what others had to say. Been wearing these for several weeks now. Really love them, very comfortable. Will definitely buy again when the time comes. Thanks Zappos.

I searched for several years for Rockport Prowalkers shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I have so it was disappointing when I couldn't find another pair. So I was very happy to find them at Zappos. Thank you!

I had been looking for the Rockport Prowalker in several stores for weeks. Unable to find them, I went on the internet looking for the Rockport Prowalker, and looked on the Zappos site and found what I wanted. It was easy to order, and I had my shoes delivered to me within a very short period of time. I'm quite happy with my new shoes. My old shoes were getting pretty worn, but they were about 5 years old after all. They wear very well. Thank you, Zappos, for your good service and promptness. I'll be back again.

Zappos is awesome! I have so much trouble finding shoes big enough for my son. I found some here, ordered them, and received them without any issues whatsoever. The price was reasonable, shipping was free, and I got them quickly. I would definitely recommend Zappos to anyone!

Well, I put my shoes through all kinds of abuse. Mud, snow, basketball, running, outdoors, motorcycle riding. These seem to be holding up so far. They are white and show dirt and scuffs easily, but they’re holding up good. Unfortunately the bottoms are glued on. On a good note though, they haven’t come off like many Nikes or Adidas. They also seem to be the most comfortable shoes I have owned. For a good comfortable casual shoe, I recommend them. Although I don’t think they’ll hold up over more than 3 years of my abuse. Still better quality though.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Propet and Vans - both show superior quality. Shoes that can last for at least 4 years.

Having had neck/spine surgery in January I needed to get new Rockport Pro walkers without the hassle of going to the Sun Valley mall in Concord, Ca or to "The Walkshop" in Berkeley. My Orthotic Therapist told me to get 1/2 size larger than I have been wearing as I now wear a foot/ankle brace. I found you guys on line and ordered A black and a wheat colored pair of Rockports and, they're a perfect fit and I'm very satisfied.

I wear Rockport and Clarks, almost exclusively. I tried a pair of New Balance and had to send them back. They were too narrow...These are perfect. They fit like an "old shoe". Zappos was of course great as usual, with top shelf service. Rockport and Zappos, a great team...

This is the second pair of Rockports (prowalker) I've purchased for my husband. They are fantastic for his back. He wore them constantly when we traveled, and now at home. They fit great!! And look great, and are comfortable all the time!

Walk with the Rockport "Prowalker":
I was born, work and live in New York City all my life. With the city also known as "Cement City" - this is the only, fashionable and the most comfortable shoe to wear while pounding the pavements in New York City. I have been wearing the Rockport Prowalker since they first came out many years ago and love the product and cannot imagine New York City without the Rockport Prowalker!

Best walker I have found -
This is my 3rd pair. AFAIC, these are the best walkers I have ever worn. And the price isn't bad either. I am a nurse and am on my feet for 8-12 hours at a time. Buy these; you won't be sorry.

The shoes are comfortable I will order another pair. However, the sole was not completely glued down and my husband glued it himself. The quality control at the factory obviously missed the fault in the shoes.

I bought this shoe for my husband who has been wearing the Prowalker for years - he loves them because they are the most comfortable shoes that he has. He has stopped wearing leather shoes except when we go out on special occasions but he is always in his Prowalker's - I recently bought him 2 pairs in the Wheat color but I'd like him to try the Black - we'll see. Sometimes it pays to buy a good quality product and Rockport meets that criteria. All Rockports are comfortable, durable, and smart looking. This has been my first purchase from Zappos.com and it won't be the last.

Zappos is 5 stars.
I purchased 3 shoes from Zappos. Size 15 New Balance shoes; size 13 & 14 Rockport Prowalkers. I returned the size 13 & kept the other 2. The purchase price of the size 13 was immediately returned to me. I couldn't be happier & intend to purchase all my future shoes from Zappos. Thank you Zappos.

Worth the search.
About ten years ago I bought this Prowalker M7100 size8W. After wearing it out I could not find another pair in shops or online including Rockport. When I hit Zappos I was thrilled to find 3 pairs left.The rest you know. I may order the same in egg or white. I admire your penchant to satisfy your customers

I bought these shoes for a wedding and they were great and looked beautiful. I had a knee length dress and wore silver stockings with the shoes - perfect. They were comfortable all night and I have bunions! I would definitely recommend them.

I was surprised at how customer friendly the instructions were and how quickly I was able to get my return label. Immediately after that I put another order except one size lower. Apparently I checked today and my item was put on priority with no extra cost. That is awesome customer service. Thanks Zappos team and continue providing this outstanding service!
