ASICS Gel-1090 -
Great shoes. They are great for runners who don't want to spend a bucket of money on a good shoe. Looks are great. These lasted me for two years, and I run at least six miles a day.

ASICS 1090-
These shoes are great! The gel cushioning keeps my knees from hurting better than any shoe I have worn. They do come up a little high on the ankle but it's not a problem. I have worn these for 500 hundred miles and am going to get another pair. They do run a little small but the width is fine. As with all other Asics I have worn, other brands can not compare.

Love the shoe but it is hot. All I wear are Asics and none are as hot as these. It's not worth returning them but there is a difference.

No problems so far -
I am really enjoying these shoes.. I don't run though, I only use them to work out (by which I mean light weight lifting and walking around the neighborhood). I have neuromas in both feet, and these don't make my toes go numb!

trained for marathon in these -
These shoes are great. I trained for a marathon in them and had no injuries. The only thing that's kind of weird is that they come up a little high on the ankle. Great mix of support and cushioning.

Awesome running shoe -
These shoes are very comfortable and provide excellent heel support and cushioning! I ran 4 miles this morning at a 30 sec faster pace. My knees and my back did not hurt at all. I think this is a miracle shoe. As the other reviewers have stated, this shoe does run small. However, I had to get a whole size larger, not a half size as the majority of reviewers recommended. This shoe is also great for wide feet.

This shoe is very comftorable. I did buy a half size larger than normal which was suggested by a friend and found that she was right on. Very nice looking shoe also. This is the first Asics shoe that I have ever bought and would definetly buy another!

Great Runners -
These are excellent runners at a great price. They are really comfortable, I've worn them on 5 or 6 runs and haven't had any problems. I did buy a 10 rather than my usual 9.5, and they fit perfectly.

This shoe is great! I am on my feet a lot for work and needed something comfy. No other shoe fits my foot as well as Asics. They fit great in the heel (most others slip) and offer awesome support throughout the foot. Although the shoe is great, Zappos is even better! Excellent company, great prices, easy returns (I tried a different pair, but they didn't work as well as these), and great shipping. I won't buy shoes anywhere else!

My coworker and I wore these shoes during and in training for the 2004 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk. they were the most comfortable sport shoes I have ever worn!!!!!! Not the best looking , but like wearing pillows on our feet.

An easy move from the Asics 1080 running shoe -
Ran in Asic 1080's for years. Finally, tried the next model the 1090. It is terrific! Also, Zappos is THE BEST for runing shoes. Received shoes two days after ordering!! I was blown away by this level of service. Will buy more from this customer oriented company. Thanks!

These shoes are very comfortable with excellent support but run smaller than marked, so buy up a half size. Width is good.

Zappo's customer service is wonderful!!!
I received the shoes and they where a nice looking shoe. Then I tried the shoe on and the toe box had a nice roomy feel which I have been looking for, so I was very happy with that. I had ordered a 1/2 size larger and really wouldn't have needed too be cause the shoe felt true to size to me. The shoe had a nice feel inside without any noticable seems or bumps rubbing my foot. However the problem was from the time I took my first step the shoe had a very noticable squeak. I took the shoe off and sit it on my kitchen table and put my hand inside the shoe and pushed down and it squeaked even from that. I am not sure if this is just a pair of defective shoes or not. I called Zappos right away and their customer service helped me by letting me exchange these shoes. I love Zappos and would highly recommend that you don't think twice about buying your shoes in the future from
Zappos.

I have arthritis in both feet so it is VERY hard to find comfort shoes. I think these are going to work for me!!!!!!!

Nice surprise -
I usually end up with the most expensive sneakers because my feet pronate and I need superior support. I'm also a glutton for good cushioning. How nice to try this one and have it work out well! Some more expensive models were not as good. Nice looking, good fit, comfortable, affordable, and good support. I'm sold.
