I find these shoes are extremely comfortable. These were my first pair of Earth shoes, and I plan to buy another!

I work in an office with concrete floors, and these shoes are a pleasure to wear. They are by far the most comfortable work-appropriate shoes I\'ve owned in a long time. The arch support is great, but they are wide on my slightly narrow feet. They look a bit clunky and masculine, but you get lots of comfort to make up for that.

I have these shoes in two colors, black and white. They go with anything casual and are exceptional for work. There is a learning curve with Earth shoes, because of the Kalso negative heel plane, but it is well worth it.

These shoes are very comfortable. I work on my feet all day and they have seriously helped my legs not ache everyday after work. The strap did take about a week to get use to but now I don\'t even notice it.

This is the second pair of this shoe I have bought. I wanted another pair in Black, but this was the only color left in my size, 12. I bought them anyway. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The backward tilt makes my back feel at ease and my calf muscles can act as they are supposed to. The velcro adjustable strap is comfortable and necessary to keep the shoe on. I have ordered and returned three other Earth styles. They were slip ons and I walked out of the back of them. I sincerely hope that this style, or one very similar, continues to be available from Earth.

Zappos was sold out of this shoe in my size, so I ended up trying them on at Alamo Shoes in Chicago. I loved them, but hated the strap, so I thought that I would buy them anyway and cut the strap off. I first wore them to my waitressing job, and they were very slippery on the kitchen floor. Then, I wore them to my other job as a flight attendant, and they were AWESOME! My feet did not hurt, even after 13 hours of duty. Passengers commented on my 'cute but unusual' shoes. I am on my feet constantly, so I am all about comfort when it comes to my feet, but these shoes actually are kind of cute. I normally wear a 9.5, but was a 9 in these, and think they are made for people with wide feet. Mine are narrow, but I like the roominess, and great arch support.

Overall, I like these. Great for high arches. However, I ordered the wide, which are usually roomy enough for my wide feet, but these seem to run narrow in the forefoot. So if you have narrow heels and wide forefoot, these shoes do not work as well.

Earth Solar are so great! I have two pair, in black and in red. I have learned that Earth shoes run a bit smaller to order one half size bigger. The footbed is amazing and comfortable. I certainly do recommend this shoe. I can walk all day in them!!! Enjoy

I have worn Earth shoes exclusively for about 9 years. When I find a good fit, they are very comfortable but mostly they are very inconsistent with sizing.
I was very disappointed with the Solar Earth shoe because the leather chipped off during normal use! I also have a friend that bought them (cheaper looking sole though) at a retail chain store for much much less and I paid about $100.
This style has a narrow heel and wide toe area so they are comfortable on my foot.
What's going on here? I think these are my last pair of Earth shoes! I expect shoes at this price to hold up better than these have.

Terrific shoes for comfort and posture -
These were my first Earth shoes and I've since bought 3 more pairs in different styles. These shoes were comfortable from day 1 and have been great for walking long distances. Not the best looking shoe, but somewhat cute. Only drawback with the negative heel is that these shoes are very flat and I've found that most of my pants drag on the ground in back if not cuffed.

I love them as I do all of the Earth shoes that I have purchased. They are comfortable and I never feel like they have to be broken in. They fit true to size and look great with anything I wear.

Earth Solar comfort -
Overall, comfortable; adjust to negative heel easily. Would like to have been able to try a 1/2 size smaller, but love the shoes. Wear them often. Can’t comment on the increase in energy usage or fitness of back and lower and upper legs, and gluteal muscles, but early results feel positive. Best arch support I have had in a shoe. Looking forward to trying sport shoes, and professional style.

Happy With Earth Shoes -
I am on my feet all day working in a doctor's office. This shoe was tight and uncomfortable at first as I generally wear a wide shoe but this one does not come in wide. I ordered it anyway as I felt it would work do to the shape of the shoe. I just finished my second week of wearing the shoes and they are now fitting great and wear them all day in comfort.

I've had my solar shoes for a couple of years now and they are still my favorite shoe. I don't actually use the strap most of the time, and prefer to wear them as slip ons. I just wrap the strap around the heel of the shoe, and lock it in place. Then if I need a more secure fit, I just put it back in place and I'm set. These shoes are great. I have a narrow foot, but I don't mind a bit of room in my shoe. It has nice secure fit and good arch support. :) I know some people think it's boxy, but I really enjoy the look (and have received a number of complements on them).

Great shoes!
These shoes have been a great change from my usual (Dansko clogs) and I am enjoying the added workout that they offer. They have taken a while to break in, requiring numerous band-aids for the process. I would say that has been the only drawback about them.

the best shoes ever -
I bought this shoe 7 years ago and wore the soles down. I wear them almost daily and they lasted that long. Needing new shoes, I just bought the same thing; they seem upgraded: better hook-and-loops straps and nicer liner and cushioning inside. These shoes are worth the money. They really help my back from aching.

I wore these shoes twice before the lining of the footbed started peeling away. Very strange. I love how these shoes look and they are pretty comfortable, but I have to put a little piece of moleskin near my arch on both sides because my flat feet rub where the sides and footbed meet. I have these in the brown and they do the same thing. I would still recommend these shoes even with the two problems. I have sciatica and painful feet and overall these shoes do help somewhat.

Earth's Solar is out of this World!
I don't just like this shoe, I love it. They were comfy the first time I wore them, no break-in period was required.

These are awesome shoes...they work with everything. Very comfortable. I wear heels to work daily and I wore these several times the first week I received them. I highly recommend, especially if you have foot problems or other joint issues like me. I only buy sofft shoes from now on. They can be a smidge constrictive in the toe bed, but they will stretch. I order about a half size up to allow for comfort. Great shoes, great brand!

Best shoes I’ve worn...two concerns even though I’ve worn them only two weeks I see the tread on the bottom is getting worn down already, and the arch support in my left shoe subtlety pokes my arch. I am on feet for the whole 8 hour shift. My back hasn't bothered me since I started wearing them and my posture does feel better. If the sole was more durable would be sooo good.

Love these shoes, super comfy and great for lower back and knees. I had them in black, I am a nurse on my feet a lot, so they wore out, and I had to order these in red, did not have my size in black. People at work have commented on loving the color. Does take a little getting used to fit of it, not as much cushion as other shoes, but def is healthier for low back and knees.

I was glad to find these shoes in white since my orthotics fit inside, they are cute with summer skirts and dresses, and I can wear them all day without my feet hurting.

Excellent Toe Box -
The toe box on this shoe is nice and roomy. I have trouble finding shoes that are not uncomfortable for my big toe, but this one is great. A little boxy in the looks department but worth the trade off. Shipping was prompt and website is easy to use.
