This tree is a little difficult to put in and take out of the shoe. I have other shoe trees that are hinged near the heel piece, which makes it much easier to get in and out of the shoe. Overall, not my favorite.

I ordered this together with a fine pair of shoes. I think this is the best shoe tree I have seen so far. It fits great, even in flat shoes, and brings a nice smell. Only minor thing that I had so far is that you need to get used to how to get it out of your shoes. ;-)

The shoe tree size I received would not fit the size shoes I ordered, and one of trees would not work. I returned these shoe trees and you replaced them (FAST) and they work excellent.

They fit nice & tight, smell great, keep odor & moisture at bay, and are very high-quality. I highly recommend these over the cheap versions elsewhere - these actually serve a purpose in keeping your shoe stretched, clean, & dry.

These are perfect for keeping nice shoes in good shape. I bought them for my husband and they are helping to extend the lifespan of his more expensive dress shoes.

Excellent product which I use for all my good shoes. I'm a size 10 so I purchased 4 pairs of the size 10-11, which work well in some of my shoes but are a bit too large for other shoes. Next time I will try the size range just below my size. Other than that, the product is well made and of course has that pleasant cedar scent.

I can't believe that we finally found a solution for my son's malodorous shoes. While we were only looking for a shoe tree for keeping the shape of his leather shoes, the fact that the shoe trees are made of cedar, they absorb the moisture AND the odor.

First a complimentary word on Zappos itself. This company takes customer service seriously and up a notch beyond its competitors. Of the shoes I have ordered in the past I have never failed to receive them at a breakneck speed delivery rate and in excellent condition. They stand true to their stated mission as a customer service company that happens to sell shoes.
As to Woodlore's Combination Shoe Trees for Men, this is a product that is highly recommended for anyone interested in proper care and respect for ones shoes. As one wears ones leather shoes perspiration and moisture build up throughout the day. Therefore ones shoes need to have the negative effects of the moisture reversed when the shoe is at rest in order to maintain its pristine appearance and long life. Woodlore's Combination Shoe Trees are made of genuine cedar which absorbs the built up moisture from the shoe thus maintaining the quality of the leather and proper shape of the shoe. Shoe trees made of plastic may maintain the shape somewhat but will not counteract the ravages wrought on the leather by moisture. An excellent product with an elegant appearance, this product is a must for any gentleman who takes the art of shoe care seriously.

I like these shoe trees. They fit will in my size 13-14 shoes and are of a very high quality. There isn't really a 'comfort' factor but the look is nice and they are well built.

I'm a firm believer in using good quality shoe trees to keep shoes looking great and also to help them last longer. I've used three different brands in the past before we started doing all of our business with Zappos. Whoever makes these shoe trees for Zappos is making the best ones I've ever seen or used before!

Shoe trees are very well made - good quality. They tend to be very large up front, and therefore do not fit many of today's modern, pointed shoes. Or they tend to stretch the shoe way too much!

Regular Maintenance -
I was taught years ago that using a shoe tree after daily wear will help the leather dry and keep it from creasing. Shoe trees help your shoes last longer and look better. These are a quality product.

Zappos.com did it again. I received two pair of Woodlore Combination Shoe trees in two days, in perfect shape. The trees fit my shoes perfectly and are easy to place in and remove from my shoes. My dress and dress casual shoes will surely age better with the trees.

Nice smell, hard to extract -
Nice pungent cedar smell out of the box. We'll see after a year or so. The tree is a bit long (ordered a small for size 7 mens), and the shaft is fully compressed. The spreader in the front is a bit more awkward for narrow toe shoes (more a recent trend). Pulling it out is hard when fully inserted; just don't put the heel bit in and all the way down.

I am in a wheelchair, due to MS. During the normal day, my feet swell a lot. I needed a tie shoe that was large enough and would stay on while I transferred from my chair to the car. I had never bought shoes from Zappos before, but I heard they were a good, reliable company. I found the shoe I needed in the size I needed. I ordered.
