The best sandals EVER!!!
I've been wearing these for two years and hope they never discontinue them! Very adjustable for skinny, flat feet like mine, and have great cush under the heel unlike most Earth styles. I have a bunion, hammer-toe, and arthritic feet and knees so it's very exciting when I find a shoe that feels this great--for my whole body! My first pair is what I use as house shoes and it's hard for me to change out of them so I've purchased a second pair in black. I LOVE the negative heel but it doesn't feel as pronounced in this style as in others, but I still feel the immediate shift in my posture when wearing them. They are very high-quality and worth every penny!! Also, I always go down a half size in Earth shoes.

Cute and comfy!
I've been an Earth shoes fan for several months now and these sandals did not disappoint. At first I thought they might be too tight across the top because I have a high instep, but after wearing them for a little while, I realized that wasn't going to be a problem. They are very comfortable and supportive.

Wonderful Shoes!
I just received these shoes, and couldn't wait to try them on. They are GREAT - even better than I expected! I have a lot of foot problems, and have had a very hard time finding comfortable, stable feeling sandals that aren't huge and clunky looking. These sandals are so comfortable, and they look great! They were definitely worth the investment. I wish they came in black too!

Fun style - and good for the feet!
I am happy to have discovered Earth shoes on Zappos. I love everything about Melissa 2 except that the medium width is too narrow for me. I have re-ordered (and received) the wide. Otherwise this shoe gives comfortable, secure support (unusual for a sandal) and - the best thing of all - a pain-free lower back after a long day of work in retail. I can't believe it!

Ridge -
The ridge that runs along the right side of the right foot is too high. It has caused something like a stone bruise on the bottom of the foot. My left foot is a different size so the shoe does not fit the same way. I have had a pair of Mary Janes that I've worn for over a year, same size, and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I need the velcro to accommodate my different foot sizes.

My first Earth shoes - not my last!
I tried out these shoes to help with my plantar fasciitis and they feel really good. Shoes don't cure this problem but they get me on the way to recovery if they have good arch support. And the lowered heel DOES help me stand straighter. While I cannot take a long walk (b/c of the fasciitis, I feel better going to the grocery store, etc).

I'll have to send these back because they were a bit too narrow. They felt uncomfortable at the instep/buckle area. Too bad they don't come in a wide width. They are well padded and comfortable otherwise and are made of high quality leather.

Pleasant Surprise -
Received my shoes two days after ordering them, as I remember. Have waiting to review them to give myself a chance to really wear them.
They were very comfortable from the moment I put them on. It took awhile to get use to the footbed but I love them and reach for them every morning. The fit is very adjustable and they stay put on your feet. I have a long (12) foot with a narrow heel so it is always exciting to find a shoe that really fits and stays in place on my foot.

One of the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. However, despite the fact that I have large feet and need a lot of arch support (making shoe shopping very difficult), I'm not willing to completely lose touch with fashion! These shoes made my big feet look even more ginormous and manly!! I would be too embarrassed to wear them anywhere. Had to send them back. Bummer!

I think these sandals look better than pictured in the ad. Nice soft leather, very comfortable, and worth the extra money. I expect these shoes will last a very long time. Even more impressive was the lightning speed these shoes and the two pair of boys sandals arrived. All the right colors and sizes. I don’t think I will ever buy shoes at the mall again. A wonderful experience. Too often online shopping is a disappointment, but not with Zappos! They understand customer service.

These sandals are adorable!!
I just ordered a pair of the Melissa 2 sandals and I love them. They are very girly looking because of the way the straps are designed and they look and feel like the expensive sandals that they are. They fit perfectly. There is no breaking in period. They are made of soft leather and if you have a back injury like I do you are going to be amazed at how they help your balance. I have been wearing Earth sandals for about 6 months now (I own 4 pairs so far and they are the only shoes that I will ever wear) and my posture has changed completely. I stand up straight and tall and believe me when I tell you that I used to have really slumped shoulders but little by little I have noticed how straight my back is looking now. I am going to order another pair of these sandals so I can have one pair that I can keep new looking and one that I can wear everyday. I know that I sound like a commercial for Earth shoes but I am just a customer like you who has been searching for shoes that would help me with my back injury and the negative heel technology in these shoes has done the job perfectly. Also, the customer service at Zappos was amazing. I ordered these sandals on a Saturday and I paid a little extra to expedite the order. I thought for sure that I would have to wait at least a few business days for the sandals to arrive but I was amazed to find my box of shoes at my door on Monday afternoon. That was fast service. All in all I have had a great experience ordering from Zappos and I would recommend that you order these sandals. They are awesome and you will love them.

Like them, but...
I just got my Mellisa 2s and love their look and quality. They are my 5th pair of Earth shoes, so I’m used to the negative heel. I have a very wide foot and extremely high arch, so have a hard time finding comfortable shoes that fit. This one fit fairly well because of the velcro adjustable straps, but I have had to adjust the straps all the way out to their last limit. One strap across the toes and up across the instep isn't adjustable and is pretty tight. Because they are leather, I know it will stretch, so am going to keep wearing them for awhile to see if they will loosen up. Otherwise they are extremely comfortable on my feet. If they do loosen up, I'll probably buy another color.

Good for narrow feet, too!
Wasn't sure about these as I have narrow feet and the footbed looked wide. Well, I have to say that this is one of the only shoes that actually has enough velcro for the straps to be tightened for my narrow feet. I have many other shoes that I love and fit the narrow width of my feet great, but then there's a large portion of strap that is not fastened because the shoes lack enough velcro. I am very pleased with these! Aside from the fact that they are fully adjustable for many different foot sizes, they are very comfortable. I have been wearing them for several days in a row and there was no break-in period. Upon first glance, they may not look as attractive as other sandals, but the comfort will win you over. After wearing them for a few days, I now really like how they look. Funny how that works!

Better than a Birkenstock!
I order this in brown and loved it so much that I ordered it again in black. It has become my favorite sandal because of the terrific arch support, adjustable straps, lovely lining and I can wear them all day. My posture improves. As an occupational therapist I can attest that most back problems stem from weak stomach muscles and poor posture. If you remember to hold your stomach muscles in while wearing this shoe your overall health is bound to improve. Even though I have narrow feet, this shoe fit great.

Great!!! I now own 4 pairs of earth shoes!!! Once you have them your regular shoes will disappoint you. Wish I had found these sooner. It is best to try a shoe on first because of the design of the shoe. I have sizes 8,7,7.5.I am normally a size 7.5 or 8.

This is a FABULOUS SHOE!!! I loved the pair that I received. They have that handcrafted feel and look that is so irresistible. I couldn't bear to wear them at first because they are so beautiful. They are the most comfortable shoe of all the shoes on Zappos that I have purchased. Earth brand shoes are truly made for comfort. Absolutelly worth every penny!!!

At first I thought they would be too heavy and clunky, but after trying them they were really comfy and easy to walk in. I even got my husband a pair of Pioneers by Earth.

Sandals Squeak -
I bought a pair of black Melissa sandals this summer and the first pair squeaked with every step so I called and was sent a new pair in exchange, BUT the new pair still squeaks. I love the sandal, the looks and the feel, but hate the squeak. If it wasn't for this, I would have a pair in brown and the red color Melissas.

I have three pair of Earth shoes and all are the perfect shoe. This sandal is extremely sturdy and supportive but has the kind of comfort that is like heaven to my feet. At the end of the day, I don't want to take my Earth shoes off! These shoes are worth every bit of their cost, and ordering them through Zappos is a five star plus experience.
