Great sandals - The longer you wear them the better they get. Birks stay the same because they have it figured out. They start feeling like they were made exclusively for your own feet and they wear and wear.

An Old Friend -
...as comfortable as an old shoe, but it's new. These shoes are comfy from the get-go. My teenage son loves them... they're the only sandal he wears. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 30 years anyway. I recommend them for comfort, absolutely.

I believe I own every color you have ever made in this style, they’re like walking with no shoes on. Oh sure, I own other styles as well, but I always grab the ones that started me and hooked me. This past summer, I hooked my husband. He is wearing his first pair and I know they won't be his last... lol! Thank you for such a great product.

I thought I'd never own these, but...
I have always had a stigma about owning these shoes. I have often seen people (older mostly) wearing these, and usually with socks. How dorky. Well, in order to crack up some people at school, I bought a pair of the shoes that I said I would never own: the Dwight Schrute shoes. I have little or no arch and these are killer. It took a few hours to get used to the arch support, but now, I would never go back. They have surpassed the comfort level of the Doc Martens I used to own. Awesome shoes and great feel! (Just a kind of an FLS-Funny-Lookin' Shoe).

Love, Love, Love these shoes!
I wear size 8 ½ B shoes and bought the 39 narrow. Great fit. These are the shoes I go to when I want slip on comfort. I own the Bostons and they aren't as comfortable as these for some reason. I will definitely buy these again.

First order with Zappos...talked with customer service since I had a few questions about the shoe...he was very helpful...and as stated I received the shoes the following day. I was exceptionally satisfied with customer service as well as the shoe. I love wearing them in the winter with "fun" socks. And they are quite comfortable.

MY HUSBAND LOVED THEM!
I ordered these for my husband who hates to shop or go to stores... his old Birkenstocks were 12 yrs old and needed to be tossed... I wanted to get the taupe colored ones but not avail... the navy is fine and my husband loved them from the first moment he tried them on...

I have worn the Birkenstock Arizona for over 20 years. It is the only shoe I buy. It is durable, comfortable and good looking.

I have foot problems and these shoes were very comfortable. In 2 days, a few hours each day of wearing, and they were just right.

A great shoe!
Birks are the most comfortable shoe, hands down. I have a high arch and these conform perfectly to my foot's shape. The buckle/straps make it simple to adjust the width.

I love these and wear them around the house all the time. I'm on my second pair, because first pair are finally looking really bad, but love them because they are so comfortable. Foot doctor told me never to go barefoot after I broke my foot and I put them on first thing in the morning and whenever I'm home. I have the Nubuck leather.

Excellent Fit -
I had a pair of Birks in the past, but they seemed too wide. I took a chance and purchased the narrow and I love it. I would recommend the narrow for anyone who wears a regular width shoe.

Not good for flat feet -
I bought these 2 months after foot surgery to wear around the house on my hardwood floors. I was surprised that these shoes hurt my foot, since I have always heard how great Birkenstocks are for your feet. When I told my physical therapist, he said that Birkenstocks are not good for people with very flat feet, which I have; they work best for people with high arches. I wish I had known that before spending too much money on shoes that I have worn inside a few times.

Best Shoes EVER!
I normally just wear flip flops and flats which were killer on my back (which I had broken a few years ago) but my Birkenstocks are shoes that I could wear anytime anywhere for any length of time. I practically live in them and they are so cute too!! If you can get a pair of these.

Second pair -
They take a little while to break in and the front strap cuts into the top of the foot a bit when they are brand new but that was true for my last pair too. If they last as long as my previous pair (4 years) than I can handle that.

I got these for my brother-in-law for the family gift exchange. I was very amazed at quick shipping service. As for the fit, he said that they were fine as these were a replacement for a pair we got him back in 1998.

Arizona's are the most comfortable and coolest shoe available. If I could I would wear them with formal wear. They are great for the health of your foot.

A "Shoe" that really fits my foot!
I've been wearing Birkies for years. I have a wide foot. My orthopedist recommends them and it's the only shoe I can wear comfortably--year round. Just add a pair of socks--unless the snow if over 2" deep!
