My husband has neuropathy and vascular problems in his feet and is in constant pain, we have tried many shoes. I read about Mephisto and after talking about it decided to give it a try. He just loves them. His foot is always hurting so getting a shoe that doesn't add to that, is hard. These shoes did not hurt or pinch right out of the box. He just loves them.

I purchase d the shark but had to return the shoes One foot is 91/2 the other is 81/2. I wish they came in half sizes. Great shoe but I had to buy a larger size and on the smaller foot the top strap cut into my shin. Other than that nice shoe but not for me. So be careful.

The absolute best, sturdiest, comfortable and heat retardant shoe money can buy. Second pair for the streets of Greece, Italy, Bahamas, etc. This shoe is not replaceable.

I ordered these for my husband, and he likes them very much. Not comfortable enough for long walks, but ran true to size and overall he\'s very happy with them.

This is my third Mephisto sandal, and I wouldn\'t wear anything else. The previous two pairs seemed to last around 3 years with a lot of use. I also own Mephisto walking shoes (Match) and hiking boots. Their products (except for the Allrounders) are excellent. The sandals fit perfectly and conform to my feet after wearing them for awhile. Zappos service is excellent and I will order all of my shoes from them from now on.

Just ordered the second pair of these sandals for my husband. His old pair are almost 5 yrs. old and since he loves them so much he even wore them during the colder months with socks, stretching them. He needed a new "barefoot" pair. Most comfortable sandals ever!...and well worth the price. And thanks Zappos for the great service.

Best sandals I have ever owned -
I have owned these for over two years; I bought them when the shoe first came out. They still look almost new and I wear them all the time. Absolutely top-notch quality, amazing comfort. Mephisto makes the best sandals in the world.

These are fabulous sandals. My husband had a pair about 5 yrs. ago and they just wore out. He wore them all the time, even in winter with socks.

Owner for 3 years -
This is the best footwear I have ever had 3 years and I wear them every day winter with wool socks and summer barefoot.
Worth every penny.
I have a hip replacement and can walk blocks with these I even get them wet and no negative effect.
Buy them; you will love them and you can even have them resoled.

Husband Loves these!
Whenever I usually ask my husband to try on something I bought for him, if he likes it he says, "This will work". When he tried on these sandals however, His eyes lit up and said, "These are Niiice...." The adjustable straps are great since he has wide feet & high arches. Also, I bought his normal shoe size and they fit fine. Expensive, but worth it!

I do not think any shoes is worth this kind of money but these come the closest of any shoe I have tried. I have a high arch and usually wear arch supports. It is hard to so with sandals. I do not have to ware supports with these sharks.
The most comfortable shoe I have worn.

All I asked for. I do wish they would change the inner sole to a dark color. The green gets looking pretty ratty looking long before the sandals wears out.

The world's most comfortable sandal -
I have been wearing the Mephisto Shark for several years. We live in the Southwest and they get a lot of use. They are extremely comfortable and the sole has great traction.

Best sandals ever -
This is my second pair of Mephistos ( I bought the first one nine years ago & wore them regularly). I thought nothing could surpass those but these are simply the best. Felt like I had them for years just after one day.

Great looking sandal -
I got these for my husband's birthday. He wanted to know what I paid for them, before he tried them on, because they looked expensive. I wouldn't tell him...Once he tried them on...he wouldn't take them off. He didn't ask the price again.
Very comfortable--worth the price too.

Perfect everyday use -
I was never that much of a sandal person until a friend let me try his Mephisto Sharks and they were so comfortable. I just had to get a pair of my own. Now I pretty much where them all of the time outside of work. To the beach, to the stores, wherever. They are Perfect! I definitely recommend and certainly worth the money for this kind of comfort.

Not quite 5 stars -
I have had a pair for 3 years now and they seem to run a bit large and the air pocket squeaks as it has ruptured. I will have to send back for repair. Took a while to break in, but now feel almost as comfortable as my Merrells which are fantastic and much less, but there is that Mephisto look that is hard to beat.
