I loved these shoes. I have to say that they are the best fitting slip on I have ever owned. Having a long, very narrow foot and heel, these fit perfect. I will buy this brand again. They are so stylish and look good with jeans or dress pants. Thanks again Zappos!

Finally! Great shoes that are comfortable (very comfortable) without looking dowdy, and in a color other than black or dark brown. Stylish, wide sizes are so hard to find. Looked for two or three years in uncounted stores. Thank you, Zappos.com!

Great fit and comfortable. Little tight across the toes but not bad. I wear a 6N and have a hard time finding shoes that fit right---will definitely try other Trotters.

This is the shoe that bridges the gap between dressy and casual. I wear this with pants for work, and look professional but not too fussy.

Have them in two colors, black and brown. I have a really narrow foot so I bought narrow, prefect fit, true to the size. They look beautiful and are really comfortable.

These are nice, stylish shoes. Comfortable out of the box. However, the microfiber is not as flexible as you would expect. I need to dress for work so I'm always looking for a comfortable dress shoe and this fits the bill. I am a size 12B and these fit perfect. Some 12s have a tendency to be a bit short, but these fit fine. I would recommend these shoes.

I ordered a pair in brown since I already had a pair in black. The heel is a level that can be worn with slacks or skirts. They are comfortable and recommend them for anyone with a narrow foot.

I love these shoes! I have them in the beautiful, rich ash shade and had to come back for the black, too. They are so very comfortable, which is a lot to say for my hard to fit size 10EE foot. Look like boots with my jeans and slacks and are great with tights and skirts. Get lots of compliments on them. Buy these shoes!

Love these shoes. I have a very difficult time buying shoes for me feet as they are so wide. (Have a high arch too). I can\'t remember when I bought a pair of shoes that not only fit me, but looked nice too! Very happy with these shoes. The fit nicely and offer good support.

Very sharp and attractive shoe, looks great with slacks. These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. (I wear a 7WW and have major bunion issues.) I use a thin ball-of-foot pad in these shoes so that my foot doesn't slide around too much due to the all-leather interior. I'm very happy with these shoes, and recently purchased a 2nd pair.

I always need wide-sized shoes and find microfiber a better option because of its ability to stretch. The particular cut of this shoe seems to negate that benefit because the fit is much tighter than other shoes its width (both side to side and top of the foot above the arch). Otherwise, the style and construction of this shoe are fine.

Difficult to find tan loafers with a bit of a heel - these fit the bill. Very comfortable and excellent quality leather. Wasn't sure at first about the squared-off toe, but grew to like it, much to my surprise. Easy to slip on, terrific to wear with dress trousers.

Trotters are awesome. This is the 4th pair I have ordered. I have black and navy. They look great with my work pants. Long lasting and comfortable. DO use a shoe horn, this will keep the heel lasting longer and fit snug as it should. Do not get rid of this simple but great style trotters.

A shoe that fits!
Wow, I finally found a shoe that fits. I have a wide foot and ordered a 8.5 EE. I always order a 1/2 size larger than my foot is long because even with EE, they are sometimes too narrow. But this was too big, so I returned them (CSR Ron was great!) and got 8 EE, which fit with a little room in the length, which will be taken care of by a my orthotics and/or heal pad.

I\'ve owned these shoes in various colors over the years and they truly are the go-to pair. Shoes look good and are extremely comfortable to wear all day long. Perfect with dress slacks as well as jeans.

I like these shoes. They are very attractive. I got the wrong size. I called for a return and the CSR was very helpful. I reordered the shoes in a 1/2 size smaller.

This is just a really great basic shoe. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes and this is one that I can wear all day without discomfort. My foot is a little wide and, while I can sometimes wear a medium in other styles, the wide works best for me on this one. I wear them so much that I\'ve just had to replaced my black pair, and I\'ve ordered another pair in navy. I really like this particular shade of navy - unfortunately it\'s not as dark as it looked online. The black actually looks better with my dark navy suit.

These shoes have very slippery soles. I have slipped on them many times. Walk on a damp parking lot and you will take a fall. I would not recommend to anyone.

I typically wear an 8 1/2 AA shoe, have a high instep and usually have trouble finding shoes that don't slip up and down in the heel. Maybe because the Trotter's Ash comes up so far on the front of the foot, it holds my foot snugly in place with no slipping. Putting them on the first time was an adventure--I needed a shoe horn and at one point had doubts that I'd get my foot into it. But once on, they felt fine. I wore them the entire day without any discomfort whatsoever. Interestingly, I bought them in both an 8 1/2 and a 9 narrow, and both were equally comfortable from the first day.

Are these real trotters?
I have worn Trotters Ash for over 10 years if not more. I have one in every color, and have worn them out and bought new ones. These trotters have a different box, a different logo, are not as comfortable and these also make a loud noise when I walk (my other trotters never hurt and are the most comfortable shoe I ever had and have a soft landing without noise). Are you sure these are real Trotters or are they a look alike?

Nice surprise!
I have ordered many shoes from Zappos, and have experienced their phenomenal service several times. Last night I ordered 6 pairs and got them THIS morning!!!! ALL of them fit well; but this one was superior. The shoe is beautiful and very well-made. It looks spectacular with slacks, but also with a casual skirt. It is comfortable right out of the box - I strongly recommend ordering - you won't be sorry!
