There are no words to describe these boots! I have 5 pair of HD boots and three are the Faded Glory. One is the high top, one is as pictured above and another in brown. My high tops, I've had at least 6 years, these boots are so worn and rough looking, they no longer pick up rocks! But still my favorites. I have been riding about 6 years, so most of the miles, over 10,000, I have put on them by riding my own bike, a Harley Davidson Low Rider. They have survived bike wrecks (one, quite serious), many road trips, not to mention year round riding. Although, I do keep the low tops at my BF, and seldom wear the brown, I also love the Badlands. They are not as heavy weight as the Faded Glory. Still, my favorites! My only complaint with these boots is the sizing. It's not real consistent. I wear generally wear a 6. Of the 5 pair of HD boots, 4 are riding boots and the sizes range between 5.5 and 6.5. Please check the measurements, as they typically run a bit large, but not always! Get 'em while you can, as they are hard to find!

These are very hard to find! I've had mine for two years and they are perfect. LOVE these shoes! These are perfect for women who ride since they offer great traction and stability. They fit great and actually get better with age. I usually take an 8.5 in shoes, but got an 8 in these and have plenty of room.

(I am "anonymous from Portland.") I got the replaced boots in size 7.5 and that was that, the correct length. I love strutting out in these babies! They are far more comfortable with the top eyelet unused, but the tied laces easily double up and stay out of the way under the cross band. And of course Zappos made the exchange so simple and fast.

Weird sizing -
Note that only 61% of respondents said this boot felt true to size. I have a pair of flaming HD oxfords and a pair of similar short boots, both size 8.5. Figured I was safe ordering these in 8.5. Wrong. Just received them today and they are boats, waaaay too large. I'm returning them and going for a 7.5 instead. Big surprise.

These boots not only look great, but are so unbelievably comfortable and durable! I have had mine for five years now, and they honestly look as good as the day I bought them. They look great when riding and great when rockin a skirt, too. Yay ZAPPOS and Harley-Davidson!

Very good looking boot...
And good for riding, too. I drive my own bike. My husband had to adjust the shifter up so the shoe would fit under it and now it is all good. I also like the strap that keeps the ties out of the way. And the extra chinkaderros that make it look pretty hot when you're riding. Oh and hey, they are really comfortable, too...

I would buy them again!
These boots are great for riding, definitely not for riding. They felt true to size, in every way. I will be buying another pair soon. I have brown ones, I wonder if that color is still available. If your thinking about these, I say go for it, there GREAT.

Great boot!!
But apparently I have the "taller" version. Mine is 9 eyelets. Not complaining at all. Love it. The boot makes my foot look small. Fits great, easy to break in. I've been wearing them for only a few hours, and they are almost perfectly broke in. No pain, no sore spots. Just a great pair of boots.

Needs some breaking in...
I really like the look of this boot, and it's comfortable once it's broken in. BUT...I'm having a hard time riding with the boot. The toe is difficult to get under the shifter, and the sole sometimes get "stuck" on the foot peg.
I'm hoping I just need to break it a little bit more. Would buy more HD boots - their quality is excellent. Looking at the Vail boots now...

Just what I needed -
Rugged and no trouble shifting. Can walk in them for awhile (heavy) with little trouble (wouldn't want to go for miles!). Love strap that keeps laces tucked away. Imagine when they are broken in they will be a favorite for riding, and comfort will improve. Very pleased with the armor factor.

Best Harley Boots Ever -
When I bought these I bought two pair even though I've never had them before. I love the appearance of these boots. They aren't very comfortable, but as a good friend once said to me, "Beauty is pain." I deal with it 'cuz they look so good. :-)

Christmas gift went over well-
I bought the boots for my daughter in law and she loves them. I bought her actual size and they fit great and look great. I can't speak for the comfort, but I haven't heard anything negative about them. It seems there was no break in time needed.

2 years and going -
I adore these boots. They fit wonderfully. I wear these when riding, walking the dog, and out to do grocery shopping. They are comfortable. They are durable. And after 2 years they still look great too. There is still plenty of tread on the bottom of the soles. No cracking. No fading. They are definitely built for comfort and built to last.

I've had these for 4 years. I do everything in them...hike, ride, work, play, etc. They are the most comfortable, durable, well-fitting shoe/boot I've ever had. I normally wear inserts in all my footwear, so that may help the comfort. I even have them in brown.

5 year test -
I feel absolutely comfortable writing a review on these boots. I ordered a pair 5 yrs ago from Eastbay. Wore them everyday, and even treaded across a college campus wearing them. they still hold up great. Ordering a new pair only because of a few scuffs. The only thing that went out of these boots was one shoe string. After 5 years, that aint bad!!!

Great riding boots!
These were the first of my 5 pair of H.D. boots. Althought a little heavy, they are my favorite rding boots. The first time I wore them was for a 3 hour, one way overnight trip. With limited space on a softail custome, I had no other boots to change, if uncomfotable. I had no problem and wear these more than any of my other Harley Davidson boots.

NO Heels!
I think it is wonderful there are no heals on this boot. I cannot wear shoes with heals. Flats flats is the way it is for me these days! I Love them!

Love the looks of these and they are sturdy, great for highway riding. Have to say they are a little uncomfortable but if you don't do much walking in them, great. I wear insoles in them and they seem to help
