Cute little things -
These are quite the cute shoes. They seem to look better than they are comfortable, but they're not bad at all. They don't seem to go very well with jeans because they're too nice for that, but for dressy, but not too dressy, occasions, they're great.

GET 'EM!
Just got my shoes, was concerned that I had ordered TOO SMALL for my US size 7 (ordered UK4.) Shoes fit great, can wear these all day, everyday, just wish I could! These will become one of my absolute favorites, no doubt about it! The MaryJane style isn't my first preference bit I thought these looked tuff!

Great pair of MJ's!
I've had my shoes for a couple of weeks and I love them. They are so cute and comfortable, classic Dr. Marten quality. They feel like they will last forever!
If you hesitate to buy from Zappos, don't!

I love them but.....
After several months of wearing mine, the rubber grooves in the heel began to split. As the split grew, the whole rubber heel eventually became almost completely detached.

I love them!
I was lucky I could find my size for these beauties. I love them because they are comfortable, good looking, have great traction, and the price was great.
I just received them yesterday, but I am sure I'll be wearing them for a long time, they look and feel very durable.
About the weight, I was expecting something heavier because of the comments of other reviewers, but they are not that heavy, of course they are not lightweight either.

So good I bought an extra pair!
I don't usually go for the wedge heel look but these have really grown on me. I'm a 9-9.5 shoe size so UK 7 is perfect for me. The traction on these is so good I almost feel like there's mini suction cups all over the bottom of this shoe. I live in a rainy climate and that's important for safety. Incredibly comfortable shoe, great for walking, standing long periods. The look is perfect, it's classy femme punk. Absolutely adorable. Good for day and night, dressed up or down. The price is great so I stocked up.

I just got these shoes and they're awesome, so cute! I can wear them to work with slacks or just for hanging out. They're totally comfortable and I recommend them to everyone! Just be careful about the sizing!

Doc's does it again!
I can't help it, I love these shoes! They were a bit stiff at first, but in time, they broke in real nice. I have large feet(UK 8), so the extra toe-room was appriciated! Fun bouncy sole great for walking, cute style & heel great for compliments!

These shoes can be comfortable when you put in some serious inserts (gel,arch supports, heel cups). I wear a 6 1/2 US, so I bought a 4 UK. They were pretty sloppy so I added the inserts. This helped with the width also, so if you have narrow feet this might not be the shoe for you. Once you get them broken in, and add the inserts, they will be very comfortable.

Strap Not Wimpy -
Update: I've had these now since Nov. 2002, and the strap is just fine. Still use the insert and buckle them tightly and they've broken in nicely.

They're wearing well, but had to adjust for size problem.
I bought this shoe and have been wearing it for several months. It sucked breaking them in, because they were a half-size larger than the usual perfect Doc threes. However, I put an insert in them and dealt with the strap rubbing for a bit. The strap is wearing well and has adjusted so that with the insert, the shoe is a good fit and comfy. They're very cute and versatile, so they were worth the effort.

I am glad I read the customer reviews first, because if I hadn't I would have went with a larger size. Normally, I am a size 7 1/2-8 but I ordered this shoe at a UK 5. I was sure they were going to be too small, but they fit perfectly! I needed something comfortable to walk in NYC with and these passed the test. They are fun to walk in because you practically bounce with every step. My only suggestion is to go low on the size or you may wind up with shoes that are too big.

Strap Seems Wimpy
I've been wearing Dr. Martens shoes and boots for years now, and usually the size 3 UK is great for me, but this one does feel a half size bigger (as noted by others). If I buckle it tightly and wear it with an insert, it's okay, but I'm worried that the strap is too thin/wimpy and won't wear well over time. Undecided as to keeping them or not.

If you are looking for a pair of Docs that will fit a womens 8 1/2, this is the shoe (european size 6). I've never had a pair of Docs that fit this well. Although they did rub a bit behind the buckle for a few wearings, they are now broken in and absolutely wonderful! I get complements every time I wear them and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. Well worth the price.

My new favorite shoes!
I had to put an insole in them to make them fit better, since they felt about a half size larger than marked. Also, I was hoping the heel would be a bit taller, but I'm very happy with them anyway. They are extremely comfortable, and I get compliments whenever I wear 'em! :)

Pretty comfy for a stylish shoe.
