There is not a large market for Men's Wide Width Slippers; however, these are the warmest, most comfortable pair I have ever owned. I am thinking about getting a second pair; when you find something this good, you worry that the item will not be available the next time you need to order it. More importantly, the shopping experience (especially this being my first time) through Zappos from availability to delivery was Superior to say the least. I will only purchase my shoes from Zappos in the future. In fact, I just purchased a pair of running shoes and they upgraded my shipping to overnight at no additional cost. I got them the next day! And the prices are the same as the retail outlets, sometimes cheaper.

I bought these slippers for my picky boyfriend and he loved them! It's very hard to find a size 13 wide slipper in the store, but these fit perfect and he says they are so comfortable that he wants to wear them to work! Great investment!

The Old Friend Men's scuff is exactly as described. The scuff is very comfortable, soft, and warm. I received my order four days from my ordering date. I will definitely order from Zappos again!

I bought these for my husband about a year and a half ago and I just ordered another pair for him because he loves them so much, he almost lives in them. His feet and toes are all messed up due to rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes, and these Scuffs (extra-wide width) give his feet room to be themselves, and have enough padding so he can stand in them for a long period of time. The fact that the soles flex and bend is a necessity for him, yet the soles are sturdy enough that he can work in the garage without problems. My husband says these are the best footwear he has ever owned.

Since my first order with Zappos, I have not purchased shoes elsewhere. The quality is great and the service is the best. These scuffs are so comfortable, you wouldn’t believe it. They hold their form so I am not bending over trying to put them on. I got the last pair they had in my size and I am sure glad I purchased them.

Not what I expected -
This shoe in my opinion is just OK. I usually wear a wide shoe so I ordered this shoe in a wide and it falls off my feet. If I wear socks with this shoe it does fit better though. The shoe looks bulky, and it is. All in all, it's just OK.

Nice Slipper -
Slippers are worth the money a little heavy on the feet and they need about two good days to break in but then they are Great! Size is right on they fell small at first but right on after break in.

Great house shoe !!
I own/owned several pair of these fantastic shoes---I literally wear them more than any other shoes I own!! Around the house, driving the motor home, even outdoors on the lawn---Slip on and off with ease, yet won't just "fall off" because they're too loose. I'm sold for life. Thanks.

The best treat to your tired feet!!!
These slippers are so comfortable.Your feet do not over heat in them and they always smell fresh and clean. They do not get matted down on the inside. The foot bed conforms to your foot making them stay on your feet. They are the best slippers I have ever owned. I was happy to find a slipper that comes in a wide width. I would recommend these to all.

Excellent Slipper -
I purchased the Old Friend Mens Scuffs to replace a pair of Minnetonkas because the backs had broken down. I chose the Scuff design because they are backless. The Old Friends are extremely comfortable with surprisingly good arch support, which is important to me as slippers are the only footwear that I use in the house. The soles are suitable for occasional outdoor wear and do not leave scuff marks on the hardwood floors. I generally wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 shoe. I chose the 9-10 Scuffs and they fit perfectly. It's a pleasure to no longer be walking on the backs of my slippers...I am very happy with this purchase.

Ugly but comfortable -
I've never owned a pair of slippers before, since I have really big feet. I ordered these, thinking about comfort and warmth over looks. They're really comfortable. There are certainly more attractive slippers out there, but you're not going to wear these out of the house anyways, so go for comfort.

Great slipper, super fit.
This is a wonderful shoe. I looked for a slipper in larger sizes for my husband and couldn't find any that fit until this one. It is comfortable and warm, and looks great. My husband loves the pair!

My husband was unsure at first over the purchase that I had made for him...it didn't last long! "HE LOVES THEM". He wears them in the garage; he wears them to the store. He wears them everywhere! Warm, comfortable, roomie.
Worth it? Of course...he stopped wearing my 'Ugg' slippers.

The inside gets a little matted and it isn't as fluffy as when it first arrived. I love them and wear them outside the house. They are very warm in the cold weather!

"Old Friend" is the right name -
I bought this shoe for each of my teenage sons, for Christmas. Both of them want to wear them all the time. One wears a 16 (!) basketball shoe, and I was concerned that the XL might be too short, but it's plenty long. One spontaneously quipped the title of this review. We love Zappos.

The Best Slipper!
This is a wonderful slipper! In the last two years I have purchased this style for five different men. They all love them! At a few family functions I have over heard them say "I can't wait to get home to my Old Friends." I have the female version and I love the cozy warm feeling. This brand of slipper has a timeless look, are very comfortable and worth every penny...

A Cloud -
I am one that normally likes to walk barefoot around my house but living in Pittsburgh it is not always comfortable in the winter. After struggling with many other cheaply made and way overpriced slippers I happened to order these for my father-in-law for Christmas. When I got them and looked at them I wanted a pair immediately and placed an order receiving mine the next day. It is like sticking your foot in the proverbial cloud. I would recommend these to anyone. Everyone deserves a pair of these for themselves.

Ugg quality with nice wide roomy fit. My dad is a triple E wide and the W fit perfectly.

Perfect for cold weather -
Ordered these slippers last minute as a Christmas gift for my college-age son (12/19). He looked at Uggs online (very $$), then found these at the Zappos site. It was the best gift he received (better than the WILD jersey!) -wears them everyday in his ground-floor apt-great slipper for the cold weather, at a great price!! Zappos came thru, on time for Christmas - very happy with the experience.
