I bought a pair of these slippers last year and wore them out! So, I ordered another pair for this year. The first pair was so comfortable I practically lived in them! This year\'s model has a design change: the insoles are removable and washable! I really like that they have an outdoor sole too.

These slippers are his favorite end-of-the-day, ease into relaxing, comfort shoes. I am so glad that I could order and receive them so quickly to replace the pair he had worn so fully that he was popping holes in each shoe, and resorting to duct tape to hold them together. Now he is back to normal, enjoying his "Old Friends", and I expect I will be back in the near future to order another pair to replace these once he has worn them out (as he will). Thank you, Zappos for having these fabulous slippies. Please keep them in stock, same color, same size, for our next order.

I purchased Old friend slipper for my father who has severe gout bumps on his feet that are not operatble. Being able to find a wide width in a slipper was important so they would not rub. The fleece is very soft and comfortable, cushioned. I was very surprised at how sturdy the sole was for a slipper. My Dad was surprised how wonderful they feel on. The fit was true to size.

These moccasins are a real treat. True to size. Real leather and real wool. I am wearing these in Florida in July. Yes they are a little warm, but they don't make my feet sweat. They breathe, unlike man made materials. I know come cooler weather they will really be great. I can wear them as house slippers or regular shoes out in the yard. Damp grass, no problem, rocks or stones, no problem, as the sole is very protective, yet flexible. Thank You Mary (my wife) for buying me these for my birthday, and thanks Zappos, you provide the only way Mary and I will buy shoes at this time.

Purchased for my father. He says they may be the most comfortable loafers he has owned. Felt a little tight at first, but soon became very comfortable. The quality of the product is very good.

Very Comfy!
I am female and wear a size 11.5 in women's, but the 12 in women's was too tight. I found that the 11 men's version of this shoe fit me better. I am very happy with look of the shoe and warmth. The only problem I have with it is that the sole is not very flexible and when walking the back of the shoe may flip off the heel in mid stride, but other than that, I am happy with the shoe.

Best slippers ever!
I bought these for my fiancée and he says they are the best slippers he has ever worn. He looks forward to putting them on every evening and comments on their comfort each time he wears them. Says he LOVES them and thanks me for choosing them. He normally wears a size 10 1/2 shoe so I bought a size 11 and they fit perfectly.

GREAT SLIPPERS -
Bought these as a replacement for LL Bean's re-designed "Scuffs". I had been a very satisfied Scuff wearer for sixteen years. When my last pair finally needed to be replaced, my wife bought the newest model, which no longer offered the open back style. I tried them, but was not happy with the fit. I passed them along to my son and found the Old Friend Mocs on Zappos. These are by far the most comfortable and warm slippers I have ever worn. Time will tell if they hold up as well as the Bean's as I have only been wearing them for a few weeks.

You can't change an OLD FRIEND!
I tried every moc and slipper Zappos offers from expensive to "underpriced" and I settled on OLD FRIEND again. They are just so comfortable you literally forget you are wearing them. They conform to your foot and snug them with sheepskin... you just can't get better. Thanks Zappos for being so patient with me while I ordered and sent back all those others. Zappos is really the GREATEST shoe store on or off the net!

These loafer/moccasins look nice and are extremely comfortable. They feel a bit larger than the size implied, but being slightly loose isn't much of a negative for mocs. Very warm!

Great slipper!
I bought these new pair of Old Friend loafer moccasin slippers for my husband after he wore out his first pair. I was happy that Zappos carried the same exact model, but he said these newer ones are even better because they have more of the plushy fleece lining in it. Overall, he loves these slippers because it's comfortable, warm, and easy to get into.

These are awesome slippers. This is the 3rd pair we've purchased. Soft and warm, but the sole lets you walk outside to get the paper. Great stuff!

Old Friend becomes an Old Friend -
Bought my first pair of Old Friend fur lined mocs at the San Antonio Rodeo about 6 years ago. Their current offering is a bit different but in a good way. Because the shoes only come in full sizes an 11 felt big on my 10 1/2 foot. The new mocs have a removable insole (fur lined) that has a foam arch and the size 11 now fits my foot perfectly. I love these shoes.

These are by far the most comfortable house shoes I have ever worn. They look great and the sheep skin inside is extremely soft and warm, great for the cold temperatures that we have right now. These shoes also have super arch support. I think I may buy another pair just to wear around the office.

I cannot say this any stronger, then this:
My husband will not consider any other slipper, ever. He has several of types, but since receiving Old Friend over 4 years ago, he will not wear any other.
Our daughter had given him his first pair. He wore them until the soles of the heels were totally gone and worn with a hole. For some reason, we couldn't remember when he had gotten them or from where. I suggested he use the ones in the closet, he would try them for an hour and go back to the worn out Old Friend. He loved the outside soles, the comfort of the fur which outlined his feet and the coziness of them.
Finally, I started the search on Zappos, finding them and then ordering them as a gift. He has a small foot, size 8, but he always wears a sock with them, and I wondered if being new they would be a little snug. Even after receiving them he kept his old ones on, I think afraid of disappointment, then after a couple of mornings he put them on, within two days he said they fit perfectly and believe me, he is fussy.

Worn every day since Christmas -
I gave these slippers to my teen-aged son for Christmas - he hasn't taken them off yet. He has worn them to the movies, to dinner, and to friend's houses. They are extremely comfortable and the sole of the shoe allows for indoor/outdoor wear.

Finally a wide slipper -
I had purchased other slippers in 2E and 3E, but all were still too narrow for my husband’s feet. This 5E ran true to size and he loves them. After reading other reviews I purchased a size larger and they fit perfectly.

Your customer service is unparallel! My father-in-law has very large feet and you were able to deliver. The first pair I tried arrived within 16 hours, they were not wide enough sent them back the next pair arrived in 24 hours, they weren't wide enough sent them back the next pair [14-5e] were perfect, great quality and comfort.
