Great shoes. I have foot problems (arthritis and heel spur). The Birkenstock clog makes life a little bit easier.

I love these shoes. They are one of the most practical Birkenstocks I have owned. They are very comfortable with socks, and best of all they are water resistant.

Being that I work in a blood center and on my feet for 8 hours I was looking for a shoe that was comfortable. My crocs were getting old and weren't that comfortable. So I decided to try these Birkis. Best move I've ever made. These areso comfortable to stand in and my feet don't hurt at the end of the night. In fact, I almost hate wearing other shoes now.

I ordered these because I couldn't stand coming home from work with my feet killing even one more day. My feet are still getting accustomed to having support at work so they are still quite sore on long days. I do wish they were more slip resistant than they are because I have almost bit the dust a couple of times. The fact that I can run them through the dishwasher is great to remove the restaurant funk! No more smelly shoes! In the end I am happy with my purchase. I might look for a more perfect shoe for my next work shoe purchase, however, I may not find one that covers all my needs, slip resistant, supportive, and slip-on. Good investment. Go ahead and purchase these if you have been debating if they are worth the money.

Great experience. I ordered the wrong size. I reordered the correct size the night I received the first pair and received free upgrade to express shipping. I received a label for the original return and dropped it off at the post office. Everything was easy

Contrary to other reviewers opinions, I ordered these 'Birkis' because I thought they looked like clogs are supposed to look. I started wearing clogs (with wooden soles) back in the late '60s. These are more primal looking than the 'pimped up' ones you see today. I wondered if these expensive Croc-like clogs wouldn't be more comfortable than my $20 Crocs + $7 Dr. Scholls inserts. They came, I tried them on, I sent them back. Stick with Crocs. Of course, they were prettier than my black Crocs.

The Super Birki is my new replacement for my worn Crocs which used to be terrific but are now manufactured in overseas and stink. As an RN working 13 hour shifts love the roomy toe box, the stability, and the quality German construction of the clog. The cork footbed is not soft enough for me and I added a Scholl’s gel insert which is heaven. Wish Birki’s would make a soft Birki insert.

I've got 3 pairs of these Super Birkies. I absolutely love them. I wear them everywhere, even to church. They are the most comfortable of clogs that I have ever owned. I highly recommend to any who has trouble with their feet. I have RA and fibromyalgia and these clogs really help me to walk better.

I am a physician working long hours at the hospital and at the office. I bought these Birkis in 1999 and have worn them during my long hours in residency. They are super light, much lighter than the Danskos I used to wear, and I am replacing them for the first time now - 10 yrs later!!! (Only because a small wear hole has developed at the big toe.) I love them.

Love the shoe and the comfort but the shoe makes your foot sweat a lot, did not like that part.

AWESOME SHOE -
I have been through many pairs of shoes in the kitchen. First off I usually need to buy an arch support with all of them. I don't like shoes for crews, which most people like. They don't last long at all. These are by far the best shoe ever. And Zappos shipping is sooooooo fast!

One year on...
I am a baker and I was blowing through two or three pairs of crocs a year before I found these puppies. I spend about 50-60 hours a week on poured cement and bad linoleum floors carrying 50 pound bags of flour or dough. While it did take a bit to break in the foot bed I think that they are possibly the best things to have happened to me (workwear wise) since the invention of shorts. Having fewer days with sore feet is a luxury and I appreciate that there is a company like Birki’s that cares about its customers enough to provide a shoe that is this substantial with a replaceable foot bed. The shoes themselves are in great shape and I have only had to replace the foot bed recently. A little hint, the Profi-Birki foot bed fits into this shoe and I have found them to be both more comfortable and more durable than the one that comes with it. Finally, I have to say that being able to toss these into the dishwasher or washing machine to get them sparkling clean is a huge plus. Way to go Zappos for carrying this awesome work shoe.

BEST KITCHEN SHOES EVER!
I've been a chef for 10 years and have tried a lot of different shoes, and none of them compare to the Super-Birki! Durable, lightweight and non-slip, not to mention extremely comfortable. I can be on my feet for 15 hours in these, and have no problems!

Birkenstock super Birkis are the best -
I am a nurse/Rn and am on my feet for 12hour shifts. I love the Super-Birkis. I wore them for several years and then decided to try a different type of clog that I thought looked more fashionable. What a mistake! These are the best shoes. At the end of the day, my feet, legs, back, etc. never hurt. When I was wearing the other brand of clogs, my feet and back were always bothering me at the end of the day. I really don't know what it is about these shoes that provide such support and comfort, but I will never wear any other shoe to work again.

GREAT CLOG!
First off…amazing shipping from Zappos. I got the shoes before I got the order tracking number. FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING? Amazing. Next I work in a kitchen 12-17 hours a day and standing on hard tile all day really starts to wear down the body. I haven't owned a clog yet that feels so firm and supportive. I think paying the extra money will be worth it in the long run. I had pledged myself to "klogs" for such a long time but they really started to give me issues with my toes. Hopefully this shoe totally resolves all issues. Feels great so far 5 stars.

Found the sizing to be a little large, especially the width. I wear a 10.5 standard width dress shoe. Sole, particularly the outer portion of the small toe pad, takes some time to wear comfortably. Sole seems firm compared to my Quarks, which these replaced. Style is typical clog. Ugly but functional.

Birki's Super-Birki: Make my feet happy!
As a nurse, I stand all day, for 8-10 hour shifts.
At the end of the day, I end up with a sore lower back and sore feet. Then, I had pain in my left foot. My podiatrist diagnosed it as Morton's Neuroma. I asked him for the treatment, and he gave me info about insoles and then told me to try Birkenstocks. He said that the Birkenstock footbed provides support to the arch, but also to the front of the foot, and supports the bones that attach to the toes. I tried the insoles, and they helped. I then bought these Birki's, and they helped even more. They are the best work shoes that I have tried in my seventeen years as a nurse. Now, I have two pair: black and blue. I will only buy Birkenstocks from now on, now that I understand why the footbed is made the way it is. I can actually feel the difference right away. Also, I bought a pair locally for MORE than I paid at Zappos. I won't do that again. It'll always be Birkenstock and they will always be from Zappos.

My perfect shoe, fits my lifestyle comfortably!
Easy on, easy off, my first requirement. Waterproof, a necessity here in the PacNW, and very comfortable.
In my case I got the next size larger to get a comfortable fit. The std width is fine for me.

Not a pretty shoe, but a very comfortable one -
I have to be honest this is not the best looking shoe in the world. However, it is one of the most comfortable shoes I've worn. When I first looked at the shoe I contemplated sending it back. I had a choice between this shoe and the Crocs Professional. I choose the Birki because it looked sturdier. Not only was it sturdier but also a heck if a lot more comfortable than the Crocs. I'm very happy with the choice I made. I would definitely buy it again.

The Super-Birki is the ultimate kitchen shoe. Anybody who works in a restaurant needs to have them. They are light-weight, slip resistant and as comfortable as any non-work shoe I've ever worn. Some think they are too expensive, but when you are still wearing your Super-Birki's three years from now, and people have run through multiple pairs of cheap kitchen shoes, you will realize the value of your investment and join the strange, loyal, Birkenstock movement.

Incredible fit, my guy loves them. Slip em on for the trash; wear them while working in the restaurant, slimmer than the older model (5 years ago) with a new age insole. Love the earth friendly, no leather, no frills...all function. Nice shoe. Really.

My doctor recommended these for constant foot and heel pain. They are the best! I work in foodservice and have worn these for the last 5 years, and am ordering my second pair. Five years for under $100 not bad. They are a lifesaver for my feet, back and legs. I have tried other shoes but always end up in these.
