The boots are very comfortable and took no time at all to break them in. They have good support and are not heavy so you don't get fatigued.

I found these boots to be moderately durable. The tread on the bottom didn't seem to last too long, but that may be because I walk several miles a day as part of my job. The boots took about two weeks of constant wear to finally break in, but even after that I felt that the insoles never took on the shape of my foot. Uncomfortable lumps caused pain on the bottom of my feet. Overall, you get what you pay for: these boots do a good job at protecting your feet, but at the expense of comfort.

Boot Review -
Husband has been wearing the boot for approximately 2 weeks now. Works in construction with a lot of walking and boot is uncomfortable due to stiffness of boot. Feet are very sore.

Great boots, great service -
I accidentally ordered the wrong width boot. (standard instead of wide.) I sent them back and Zappos had a new pair at my door the same week! Can't go wrong with Zappos! P.S. Get the wide ones...for standard feet they are the best! Skinny feet go standard.

A boot to make it a little less like work.
THE most comfortable workboot I have ever wore. As a steelworker and truckdriver, they get a workout daily. This is my 4th pair. The steel toe has saved mine more than once, and they wear good too. I wear mine many times instead of tennis shoes.

The shoe is sturdy, comfortable and looks really great. Very macho. I stand for long hours working as a nightclub bouncer and do feel it becomes a little hard to stand in for long hours, but otherwise no complaints.

Very good boot -
I ordered a pair for my husband to wear for work. He's a mechanic and is on his feet for 11 hours a day. He said they are very comfortable, but a little narrow. This is the second pair he has had of this brand and he is going to stick with them. Overall, a very good boot for a very good price.

Company would not fix when shoe fell apart -
The shoe looked good and felt comfortable but one of the quick lace eyelets broke the first month. Caterpiller did nothing to help. All I wanted was another eyelet that I could put on myself.

My husband's favorite shoe -
This is the only pair of shoes my husband owns. He works at a job where his feet could be hurt, so these definitely offer a lot of protection and the style is really great.
It takes a little bit for them to be totally comfortable, considering he's on his feet a lot, but once they're formed, they're perfect!

the boots I purchased are a very nice boot, as a matter of fact, I sent them to a student in Egypt, as he has always wanted a pair. He loves them and so does everyone else, but I can't afford to send everyone that wants a pair to get them. Thanks ZAPPOS for the prompt delivery.

I'm a 20 y/o man and I've worn them since I was 16. I'm a very active teenager, so I wear them every day up 14 hours. Never I haven't have any serious problem. Nowdays they are very well worn, but I'll continue to wear them until I can. In summer I wear them without socks and it's fun! You must wear it!

I love em; third pair in as many years because the toes on the second pair can't be shined anymore. I've haad cars run over these toes, hammers dropped on 'em, kicked a ton of stuff, and these things take a licking and keep on ticking!

These boots, which I purchased recently, have been an excellent choice so far. I find them both comfortable and light and I also enjoyed the ease in which it took to receive these boots. Your online service is fantastic. I received the boots quickly and I think your service is superb.

These are great all-around workboot-style shoes. Great look, good comform level, and extremely strong. Aside from being extremely useful for outdoor work, I use these for volunteer firefighting -they're VERY easy to get on and off in a hurry, which I haven't always found to be the case with lace-up boots. The only caveat: they run about a half size to a full size large, so order a size that would normally be "snug."

Caterpillar 2nd Shift/ Steel Toe -
This will be my third pair in three years. The other pairs are still usable, although too rough to shine and are not totally waterproof. I use these boots for the fire service; brush fires, blasting/ cutting details, and as dress station boots. They do shine nice, I tear the toes up in 1 year so they can't be dress shined. Very comfortable and a 6-hole zipper can be inserted.

Perfect boot -
Great for working on site, great for the rodeo afterwards, great for dressing up. They shine up great and take about 2-3 years of faithfull wear to be rendered useless. I am just retiring these boots since they were put into service Christmes 2000. Well worth the money.

Great love 'em.
I've owned my pair for 5 months, they have taken appx. 400 miles, daily wear and seven cars over the toes. They're great, but take 'em off before going through metal detectors, they set off the metal detector in the JFK museum and it took me a couple of minutes to remember my boots were steel toe. LOL.

Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
