My son-in-law has wide, small feet and we have a hard time finding shoes that fit him. Zappos had the 6.5 wide that he needed. As usual it has taken awhile to break them in, but otherwise they are great shoes!

I love this shoe!!! I have bought numerous New Balance shoes from Zappos. This was a new style for me, I am overweight and flat footed. These shoes give me the support I need!!! My only complaint is they tend to run a little small in length, so order a 1/2 size bigger.

I tried, didn't work out -
I tried this shoe in several sizes and widths and it just didn't fit properly. I rarely have issues finding comfortable shoes, but this one didn't make it for me. I tired a Medium (D) width first in 8 and 8.5, too narrow. I then tried Wide (EE) in an 8 and still no good. I sent them back.

Too narrow -
I had to return the shoe as it was too narrow. I've never had to buy wide shoes. I just ordered a pair in wide (EE) to see if they will work. I few reviews mentioned these felt narrow. I've seen reviews for other shoes that said the same, although they were fine for me. The shoe appears to be long enough, just not wide enough across the toes/ball of the foot. I wear a lot of Ecco shoes and Salomon in regular width, no problem. We'll see.

I have to special order shoes for my disabled son. This shoe is a sharp looking shoe. It is durable, comfortable and light weight.
I only by New Balance and the website I usually shop was out of stock. I found Zappos by a search. It was cheaper and the shipping was amazing! THANK YOU!!! I'm so impressed with Zappos Customer Service.

The New Balance MX608 gives my husband comfort and the support he needs, and gave me great peace of mind that it is all that the description states. Good Old Shoes -
I bought the same shoes in a store 6 years ago and particularly liked them (and am still using them though they are quite worn). I wanted another pair and couldn't find them in any store, but did find the m at Zappos. They only had 3 pair (now 2) left. These are every bit as good as the old ones.

NB#1 - love these shoes.
I have an old pair of NB 605s I have had for over 13 years and wore nearly every day since then. Yea, they're VERY worn out, but I wont toss them. The 608 took their place, so I bought a pair of them and hope they'll be at least 1/2 as good. I wont buy a brand other than NB as long as their shoes are still this comfortable and long lasting. THANKS NB!

I purchased these shoes for my father for Father's Day this past year. He works on his feet all day (5am - 7pm) and he absolutely loves these New Balance. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I got these MX608s mostly for work (in black) and they are SOOO comfortable. Will be getting another pair of different colors soon. I read that they run a bit narrow, so I ordered the wide and they fit perfect.

I like it -
I was always a big fan of NB's canvas tennis sneakers and held onto mine until they were ready to fall apart. The MX608 is the first non-canvas NB shoe I've purchased. It's quite comfortable and I'm very happy with it. I'd love to see canvas return, though.

The New Balance MX608 is better than any of the newer models such as the MX609 and MX620. The MX609 was the replacement for the MX608 and the MX620 is the replacement for the MX609. I am glad I found these on Zappos. New Balance should retire the MX620 rather than these. Zappos sent the shoes next day air which was a nice addition to their already great service.

I bought these for my husband. He could not believe how fast we received them and how well they fit. He has a wide foot and has a hard time finding shoes that really fit well. He will not hesitate to buy again from Zappos.

Good looking, comfortable shoe. Even more important, is that it fits. Finding reasonably priced, quality shoes in size 16AA or 16N is not an easy task.

The New Balance MX608 is Great! I have a spinal cord injury and diabetes. These shoes help me walk better than the shoes the podiatrist ordered for me. Also if I am on my feet most of the day my feet don't swell. The comfort is great. I will continue to buy my shoes here.

I purchased the white NB MX608 for my husband. He wears a 14w, the shoes fit perfectly. No breaking in period. Also because they fit so well, and have great support his back pains are much butter. A very surprising thing about the whole process was we had delivery in less than 24 hours. Thank you.

I have a problem finding shoes that fit...the 608 in 15 4E fits like a glove, and is incredibly comfortable. I just wish it was a fabric tongue instead of the all leather...otherwise, GREAT shoe.

Good Choice -
For a shoe you can take out of the box and wear, you can't beat this one. It felt just a tad less "cushy" in the support area than in the past, but still doable. I do a lot of treadmill exercise, and this shoe holds up very well in that area.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: New Balance in general is a trustworthy brand. I like 609, but I don't think you carry it any longer.
