These are nice looking shoes that are generally comfortable. The only caveat I would say is that these actually feel like they are 1/2 size larger than they really are (I am usually a 10M...these feel like they are 10.5). A little loose on my feet, but I'll keep them anyway.

Nearly 6 years later...
I bought this shoe in October, 2003. I have worn them on deck, in the yard, and around town since then. Absolutely wonderful. After six years the inner lining is a bit loose so I was looking to buy another pair or fix these. But these have been incredible shoes. I've worn them around the world. They've been soaked in sea water. They've been dried out in the desert. I am 42, and these are the best shoes I have ever owned. Seriously.

Great Multi-Purpose Shoe -
I have 3 pairs. Oldest used in the yard. Have the second pair for everyday use. The new ones will be used for "dress up" occasions, church, parties, etc. They are well made, wear exceeding well, and look good.

Falcons Soar -
I discovered Clark's Falcons about 8 years ago and fell in love. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I wear them daily to work, play, on the boat, everywhere.

A little loose.
My normal shoe size is 10M. This shoe feels a little loose. My foot moves around when walking. It feels like it is more 10 1/2 than 10.

I'm on my feet, 12 hours a day as a pharmacist. When I go out with my wife I need a shoe that gives my legs relief. In the Falcon, I've found that shoe. Comfort, style, and fits my tired dogs.

I've been wearing Clarks Falcon's for 15 years and haven't found anything that quite compares including: Dockers, Timberland etc...For the $$ it's a very comfortable and nice looking shoe.

The only thing bad I found was that the inside of this shoe discolored my husband's socks. He wears this shoe with tan pants, and then his tan socks now have dark stains from this shoe.

My husband has a large foot (14 or more depending on shoe) and difficulty wearing any shoe for long periods of time...his feet & ankles swell. He loves the comfort and good leather of this shoe and how well made it is...especially for the price.

Worth the Wait for the Narrow!
I have a 13-A foot. Thus, boat shoes usually don't fit well, if at all. I have looked for 6 months for something with a Narrow width and arch support for walking. Back in the fall I clicked on the Falcon, but they were out of Narrow. Sure enough, when Zappos got them, I got an email, I ordered and they arrived two days later. Fit great right from the box. Hugs the heel, which I appreciate.

Old Faithful...
This is a very well made and comfortable shoe. I have owned this particular model of shoe for years, each year I buy another two pair in the dark brown. They hold up great, the sole's padding/cushioning is awesome if you do lots of walking or are heavy like me. They are versatile and go great with any trousers such as dressier Dockers or dressed down blue jeans.

Perfect boat shoe -
My husband put these on right out of the box and everything fit! He wears a 13 so it is difficult to find his size. He says it is the best shoe he's ever had. Good support yet very comfortable and not shapeless like some boat shoes. The sole helps give great traction and stabilization. Please make more!

Every year I order a new pair of Falcon's for my husband as he lives in them. He walks A LOT and wears them down in a year. He loves them. If they ever decide to stop making them I'll have to buy out the remaining stock.

Comfort right out of the box -
These shoes are a pleasure to wear. They were comfortable "right out-of-the-box" and I've worn them everyday since receiving them. Tempted to buy a second pair (different color).

Clarks hard brand to find -
I always get trouble when finding my size is 13, so it’s hard to find. These are my second pair of Clarks’ Falcon shoes; they are duralast shoes, comfortable and I strongly recommend them.

For a person who has bad knees and still likes the boat shoe look and utility, these are the best. The cushion and fit allow you to wear these all day on a boat, on concrete, mowing the yard and at the end of the day your knees and feet feel great.

I found Clarks 8 years ago and have had to travel to get them, sometimes 90 miles! Zappos has certainly made purchasing much easier with the width and size availability!

BEST BOAT SHOES ON THE MARKET -
Having had many years of experience with Clarks boat shoes I've found them to be the most durable of all the brands. They look great when new, the new look lasts for several years and they wear forever afterward under the roughest condition (Mac race after Mac race).

Casual classic design which is always in style. Outstanding durability for the long haul, comfortable to a fault. Can be worn with jeans to casual business and even to church on Sundays! Great bargain too. This is my second pair!

 |  | Hi Fabulous Zappos Team: Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Barb and I just finished reading an absolutely delightful article about your company and corporate culture. I was so genuinely impressed that I wanted to send you all a note of thanks. Thanks for being the genuine article! My entire adult work life I have tried to promote a happy, customer focused work environment. While I have always been extremely productive from being authentic and caring, certain supervisors looked at my ways as being suspect and a little weird. Yes, it's true they felt a respectful, caring attitude was a waste of time and actually did not care if their current customers were satisfied. How they didn't equate that current happy customers equals monetary success now and later through referrals is still beyond me. They also never "got it" that their incredibly high employee turnover cost them dearly. Trained, happy people produce positive results. I worked with a company as a manager for the past 8 years that went through 29 managers in the 2 locations closest to me in my 1st two years of employment. Finally I decided to leave after not being able to effect positive change in my boss. Amazingly at Zappos the positive goes CEO down and back up - way to go! Being the eccentric optimist I am, I left my job and figured I'd have a great job in no time. Unfortunately, I am still looking for a positive, proactive position and was getting a little blue until I read the article tonight about Zappos. The great news is that my faith has been restored. There actually is a company that values what is really important and not just in a PR lip-service kind of way. I wish you all enormous success, big bucks, and happiness. I hope that your corporate culture spreads out like wild-fire to other businesses so that people like me who live it and believe it can experience it in our careers. If my husband wasn't off serving in Iraq, I'd probably be there beating down the door for a job, but it is in extremely bad form to sell the house and move away while the husband is out of the country for a year.
I most sincerely appreciate: Your Zappos core values that you really follow. Your supporting your employees to learn more, be happier
