This is the sixth time I have bought this shoe. Over the years, I have had three pair of brown and three pair of black. It is an outstanding and comfortable shoe that lasts a long time. It is handsome-looking, that can be worn with both casual and more dressy wear. I really enjoy the shoe.

I have been buying this shoe for many years. It's comfortable, elegant and never is out of fashion. It's a classic.

Dear Zappos: I want to express my appreciation in the form in which you send my order as requested and it arrived exactly the next day! I was so sad, because Florsheim has a store here in town, that represents them, but they never have a stock ready to purchase when needed. Thus, I went there and they did not have. This is a good looking shoe but was way in excess of the size that I ordered. Wished that it came in as true to size because I love the look of the shoe. Appeared to be good quality. I might try it in a smaller size if they have one.

Great step-ins in my size -
I have never been able to get step-ins in my size before. These look and feel comfortable and I keep them on my feet when walking. A great find.

I have been wearing this brand and style of shoe for over 20 years and have found them to be very comfortable for all day wear. I have tried other shoes, but have always come back to this one because of the way it feels on my feet. It is also stylish enough for any occasion.

My husband will only wear the Florsheim Imperial shoe. He has one of each color because this is the only shoe that suits/fits him best. He needs a EEE which not all brand provides. So, his strong preference validifies the comfort rating. I only wish however that they'd change the style/design of the shoe just for variety. I'm quite sick and tired of buying the same shoe year all the time, put the buckle somewhere else, change the buckle design, something!!!

Style and comfort -
I was looking for a classic style loafer that offered quality and good fit. I've never gone wrong with Florsheim. You can keep this shoe on all day and it still feels like you're wearing your bedroom slippers.

Florsheim's Como Imperial. My husband has long, narrow flat feet and a horrible time finding shoes. This particular shoe is the only one we've found that fits him, we feel fortunate to be able to find it at Zappos.

Great Buy -
I have worn this brand for over 15 years. Nothing else will do! It is like wearing a glove ob your feet. The kid leather is always supple, but long lasting to the wearer. This is the only shoe I wear for comfort and style.

A good dancing shoe...
Though the sole is a bit thin with little cushion, it is a great looking shoe - works for dress or casual. It is great for airports as it has a good look and is easy to slip on and off. The bonus is a comfortable shoe with leather soles so you can dance the night away after looking great at work.

Didn't wear well -
Admittedly I am hard on shoes, but that is why I buy quality brands. The leather scuffed horribly on both this pair and a cordovan pair that I bought at the same time.

Because I need a B width or narrow width, I have a difficult time finding shoes in stores. Even the Florsheim stores don't generally carry narrower widths. The shoes arrived the day after I placed the order. They looked great and fit perfectly. I couldn't be more satisfied, and I am happy to find such an easy way to shop for shoes.

Ordered 2 pair of Florsheim's for husband. Victor ran big and not as good of quality as Como, so returned it. Como more expensive but very happy with the shoes look and fit. Hope it last 4 years like his last pair. Very happy with Zappo's service. They get a 10!

Zappos service was great. Got the shoes within a few days as they said. I bought two pairs, one in black and one in brown as I could not find the style or size anywhere else. This particular shoe has soft leather which I need for comfort and did come in an E size which is just a little wider than the D. I'm very satisfied.

This was a birthday gift for my husband, and he loves it. Although he has worn Florsheim shoes before and owns several pairs, he says that the Imperial is the most comfortable show that he has ever worn. He had problems with ordering shoes from anywhere, but he is pleased with the prompt service that Zappos provided and with the fact that he could find a 14D. I shall be ordering his shoes from you in the future.

This shoe feels "broken in" from the moment you put it on. I have never worn a shoe that is this comfortable from the time you take it out of the box. Classic lines and easy to maintain. I have been purchasing these shoes for 25 years. The only drawback I have noticed is that they have gotten too expensive over the last few years.

An Absolute Treat to Wear -
An absolute treat to wear! Yes, they are expensive, but so are "walking shoes" made from synthetic plastics and rubber. Long after the plastic shoes are in the landfill, you'll still be enjoying your Como Imperials!

This shoe is what I expect from Florsheim. It is comfortable, attractive from a casual-business sense, and is reasonable in price. The next level up would cost two to three hundred dollars more.
