I absolutely love this boot and highly recommend it. Very good looking, very well constructed, gore tex, great traction. I found it slightly tight across the top middle of the foot, but it gets better with every wear as it breaks in. Would definitely buy it again. I own 4 pairs of Eccos and can\'t wait for more!

Bought a pair of these for work but they never made it. I thought I would wear them as a casual boot for a few months since I liked the way they looked and they felt clunky so I thought they could also use some breaking in. The soles are where these went out and in only a few months, they got hard as if you were wearing boots with no insoles. I would try something else for your money as these will make your feet hurt unless wearing cheap boots without insoles does not bother you.

I was looking for a good casual boot. I did not find it here, felt like I was wearing footballs. I have 3 problems with this boot. First as I mentioned they felt like footballs on my feet, second the sole seemed to give out after a few months, not sure why as I weigh about 190 pounds, but they seemed to become hard and lose the cushion the soles had originally. Three, the stitching came undone around the toe box area in the third week on both shoes. I stopped wearing them when the soles gave out even though I did not really like the feel of wearing footballs but I took a chance that they might change with some breaking in but they simply fell apart. I replaced these with a pair of Mephisto Battlers and wish that I would have got them in the first place. Try Mephisto boots, you will see the difference there.

Best boots ever!
I love these boots. I wear them all the time. They are presentable enough for business-casual wear and are excellent on the trail. They are incredibly light-weight and provide great traction and support. I have worn out a few pairs and keep coming back for more.

I am a long time Mephisto wearer and thought i would try Eccos since they are a little cheaper. These boots turned out to be just another factory boot with a high price. These boots are comparable to wolverine boots which are ok, just not on the same level as high boots that Mephisto makes. These feel like you are wearing space shoes. The bottoms on these seemed to flatting out in about a month which left me feeling every gravel and small rock I stepped on kinda like cheap thin flip flops do.

Great boot with a problem -
Fantastic boot. I have gone through 4 pairs! Prospective buyers should be aware that they have an “injected” sole/tread and cannot be re-soled with the same material. The uppers will last 5 or more years...but I have worn through the outer layer of the tread as quickly as 6 months (not hiking! Once this happens, you expose the black "fill material" and the soles wear rapidly. This is a flaw that I hope Ecco addresses. Otherwise a great boot!

Great Boot -
My husband wears these to work, where he is on his feet up to 15 hours a day. It is the only boot he buys. They are comfortable and durable.

Good all around boots.
Very versatile boots. I loved my Doc Martens for years but recently they are not of high quality. I am glad to say that Ecco seems to be a very high quality product. If you are a Doc lover looking for a new brand; look no further. Don't let the price scare you. I remember choking on the price for Docs 15 years ago and not regretting it.

Zappos is the best. Upgraded my UPS delivery to overnight free of charge. I don't think there is a finer boot around than the Ecco Track II. The fit was perfect. I did order the size "43" knowing this would fit my size "10" foot. The way shoe sizes vary, I don't know if Ecco is slightly off or if shoe makers using American sizing have misplaced their rulers.

Great boots! Ecco's quality as always!
Great feeling boot. Comfortable for hours on end. This is probably my 7th pair of Ecco shoes/boots. You can not beat the quality and feel!

You can't go wrong!
Don't even question the price. This boot should sell for much more. Lightweight and sturdy, yet very soft leather that molds to your foot. The footbed offers unsurpassed support and the sole is very pliable. I'm so impressed I have ordered the Track 2 low and I doubt I'll be done there. Zappos will get them to you the next day. My only regret is I waited so long to try them because of the price. Don't make the same mistake!

Great shoe for a working man - I bought these shoes for my husband. He's a carpenter and is on his feet all day, climbing ladders, etc. He had been having knee and back problems, and was told to try a good support shoe. He loves this shoe! It supports and stabilizes his foot and ankle, is unbelievably lightweight, and is totally comfortable all day. He normally takes a wide width, but these aren't available in wide. Ecco says this boot fits medium to wide. They were right – this boot fits perfectly!

My hard working husband loves these shoes!
They are the most comfortable work shoes my husband has ever owned. He uses them everyday for his landscaping business. And he has had others ask him about them and has sent off a chain reaction of other users!

Worn to the extreme -
I will start by saying I do not work for ECCO and am not a shoe salesman. I am a UPS driver and I guarantee, I put boots through the most extreme conditions. I could name names on shoes but I won’t embarrass the other companies, other boots I've worn would typically last 3-4 months. These boots on average give me a solid 8-9 months wear, that’s 3 to 5 miles walking 5 days a week. If u want a boot that’s true to size, and wears well in all conditions these are for u. Sadly I believe ECCO DID DICONTINUE these tread model. I have tried the track iv and didn't really care for them. Dear ECCO please make this boot a permanent fixture in your boot line..

Excellent shoe, very comfortable it is almost like you are wearing nothing at all. Expensive but worth the price. The rubber sole comes up a little higher then I like in the heel but that is purely cosmetic. Great shoe!

Ecco Trak II High Review -
Great boot. I've been wearing them for about a month now in the snow and cold f an Idaho winter. My feet stay warm and dry and the boots continue to look good no matter what I do to them. I have other Ecco shoes that have lasted forever and have looked good throughout their lives and I expect these to do as well.

This is my Husbands 3rd pair -
My husband bought his first Track II about 7 years ago. He built a house in it, washed it with the water hose, you name it...this boot went through it. This last purchase was his 3rd pair. He loves it. We went to visit his Father and he had the same boot on. I paid a lot more for it at Zappos but I ordered it late for Christmas and they shipped it immediately and shipped it free.

Fantastic boot!
I ordered my first pair of these boots over 6 years ago and wore them through all four years of college (snow & ice weather) and two more years through my MBA program. Finally had to order a new pair. Love these boots!!

Ecco Track II: Simply The BEST!
I am a Federal Express courier who works 50 hour weeks, gets in and out of my truck over 100+ times a day, walks over 5 miles daily and is exposed to all weather elements. I pound the pavement, concrete, wet grass, curbs, puddles, metal truck floors and STILL will get over 2 years of life from these remarkable Ecco Track II boots. Any courier from UPS, DHL, and USPS will understand…THAT is remarkable. Most couriers buy a pair of Nike, Reebok, Adidas, New Balance, etc and in just 6 months, they are SHOT! When a fellow courier at FedEx introduced me to the Ecco Track II and told me that it would cost $200, I thought he was out of his mind! However, I now swear by them and will never go back to sneakers or other boots again for work. I just bought my third pair and the secret to extending the life of the Track II is to take out the insole every night after work and place a cedar shoe tree in them to absorb all the moisture and keep the boot sturdy. Three things stand out about the Ecco Track II boot: exceptionally durable, extremely comfortable and best of all, Gore Tex! Never will you go around a puddle again! Trust a FedEx courier who abuses the daylights out of his boots: Plunk down the money for the Ecco Track II. . . and you will swear by them.
