The Vans Old Skool shoes fit fine and are comfortable. I can\'t buy this size (16) at any store I\'ve been in. Zappos has a lot of variety, competitive prices and fast delivery. I have purchased all of my shoes from Zappos for the last 2 years and will continue to do so.

As always, the Zappos experience was phenomenal. Very quick processing, and shipment. I am stationed overseas and use the Military "APO" address. Some companies struggle to get merchandise out the door, not Zappos. The shoes were great, comfortable and look good. I wear a 16 normal width and these fit perfect right out of the box. For reference, I wear a 16 normal in New Balance running shoes and Columbia trail shoes and these were about the same in terms of fit. Nothing but positive things to say for these shoes, the fit and the service with Zappos.

Good shoes but the back digs into your A-tendon a bit. If that\'s an issue with shoes for you I would avoid them. Great overall feel otherwise.. Zappos makes returns flawless (and I normally have issues dealing with customer service,,or lack thereof) and I did order 2 different pairs to see what I liked best then returned one pair with no problems.

When I was 16 I was mowing my grandmother's house while wearing these shoes. I slipped while mowing and pulled the lawn mower right over my foot. I heard three loud whacks occur before I let go. My shoe was obliterated and naturally was expecting a terrible bloody scene once I removed it. My foot was fine though, probably broken or fractured at best, but no cuts or blood what so ever. I swear by these shoes. They are great for anything and everything.

These look good, but like everything else these days, I\'m disappointed with the quality. The inner seam that runs along the logo is raw on the inside, not stitched down, and there\'s a large flap of fabric that folds in half and rubs on the foot all along the instep. That said, I haven\'t purchased Vans in years and don\'t remember if this is the norm or not. Still we\'ll be returning them for the discomfort and potential for blisters.

Much more comfy than my Chucks!
I was looking for a comfortable flat shoe to tool around in when I am not at work. These are awesome, much more cushion and support than the Chuck Taylors I used to wear. They took maybe 3 wears to break in the back heel, so it wasn't stiff, but after that, they are very comfy. I would highly recommend these shoes - they look cool, too.

My son picked these shoes out and he really likes them. The only thing was that they were a little stiff for the first few days. We're a comfort shoe family and aren't used to having to break in a pair of shoes. They look great and have since adjusted.

These shoes are awesome! And Zappos is the place to shop, not only did they upgrade my shipping priority to overnight shipping for free (shipping in total ended up costing me nothing), but the shoes came in less than 24 hours! Great work Zappos!

Timeless -
I was a junior in h.s. when these first came out. I wore them almost every day. They are super comfortable and go with everything in the kick-back clothing department. I will admit that when I saw "old school" and "classic" it did make me feel a little bit aged. I still love these shoes and will always keep a pair in my closet.

Comfy right out of the gate, don't look for too much cushion or support but if you like wearing sandals these shoes are similar in feel. Can’t say enough good things about Zappos customer service either.

Great old school punk sneaker!
Vans old skool is as classic as it gets. I ditched my chuck taylors for these. A good narrow width school that goes with nearly anything. I've had a couple of pairs in my life, but the insole in my left shoe of my this last pair came up, so I replaced it with a Dr. Scholl's gel sport insole, because these shoes have absolutely no arch support. Overall these are one of my favorite sneakers.

Pure sentimental purchase for my on comming mid life crisis.
As a former punk rocker, skater, vegetarian kid who loved to protest against the man, I had to buy these shoes. They were fun to play drums in, and organize vegan potlucks.
Now I wear a suit and tie everyday. Work a day job in hopes my new son will have the opportunities that punk rock living could never afford, such as going to punk shows.

You are a great buying source -
I believe that one of the services you offer and I value most is your return policy. I am in constant need of new styles and different sizes all the time and I have been successful ordering through you. Your variety of styles and brands is very impressive. The following is not criticism but is something that I have experienced that you may want to know... the only problem I have experienced is that sometimes finding different options in colors or styles when purchasing for bigger sizes both for women and men has been somewhat limited. But I cannot complain.

BEST dance/zumba shoes. I've tried Nike Musique IV, shox cameo a shox ballo and these were by far the most supportive and cushiony. They run narrow so order a 1/2 size up if you have wide feet. The bloch brands are more flexible but these have more support. Since there's a lot of lateral movements in Zumba, I like this shoe for that type of dance and wear my bloch drt for less movement classes.

Never Fail!! Always Cool!!
Started wearing them in the early 80s and always have a pair ready to wear. I once lost a pair while moshing in circle pit at a Blast show in Santa Cruz. Good times good times!!

Great casual kicks -
Had the navy and black ones back in middle school. Twelve years later, I bought another pair in black and can still pull them off--go figure. I normally wear a 9.5 and was glad to find that the 9.5's I ordered fit perfectly. Need some break in time to dirty them up; I don't like my feet glowing of new shoe. It makes me uncomfortable. Zappos' delivery and service is crazy fast and reliable. Been buying from them for years, now.

The perfect shoes -
The shoes were perfect. They came the day after I ordered them and they fit perfect. Comfortable, and way better then wasting the gas to drive into town to get shoes. Zappos is great and I will continue to buy from them again and again.

Awesome Shoes -
I got one of the last three pairs of the black on black colored ones. They look awesome and after a week or so of breaking in, they are extremely comfortable. Great for just about anything.
