Splendid -
I've always wanted a pair of Stacy Adams, but only barely now finally got to try a pair. These boots - a surprising thing to see from Stacy Adams (to me at least) are remarkably comfortable, and look even better in person than in the pictures. Also, the sizing is precise and fits me perfectly.
I am delighted with these and with the service from Zappos!

A Winner!
I have been buying these boots for over 25 years. I am on my 7th and 8th pair. Great for dress up, the office and casual with shorts and tee. Comfortable and classy.

Great Boots, but a word of caution:
These boots have a great classic/retro style to them. I ordered a 11 1/2, since I have a pair of Stacy Adams shows that are a 11 1/2. When the boots arrived, they were way too long, and too narrow. So I returned them for a 10 1/2 E. They fit perfectly.
I wear them everyday, and the sole wore through in only about 6 months. That's my only complaint about these shoes. I had them repaired and they looked as good as new. I imagine I'll end up doing that once a year for the life of the shoes.

A wonderful shoe!
I ordered these a size wider judging from the on-line reviews. The shoes arrived the next day and I have hardly had them off! They truly fit well, and the leather is so soft--they feel broken in from day one, and I never say this about a shoe until now. They give excellent ankle and arch support while feeling good walking around for a long period. I plan to buy another pair in another color!

Very, very nice boot!
This boot fit me like a glove. I wore it for many hours a day after purchase, and the only very minor discomfort was the upper part against my inside ankle. I'm sure it will break in and be perfect over time. Otherwise they look and fit perfect. Sizing was exactly right, and they are very narrow, but the fit is true to size. Also very shiny, but I personally love that!
Very classy and stylish.

Stacy Adams Madison Boots - sized small -
I love the look of these boots, but they run much narrower than my shoes (narrow last). Consequently, my orthotic device will not fit inside the shoe. I also have large calves, and needed extra long laces to even lace the boot to the top. Even then, the look of the boot is destroyed because they bulge at the top over my big legs. Perhaps these are not a good choice for wide, flat feet and large legs - even in EE width.

I ordered the Stacy Adams Madison Boot. The response from Zappos was immediate and entirely satisfactory.
They went out of their way to hurry it along - and I received the boots ahead of schedule. They were just what I wanted and more. The size, quality, style, etc. were what I had hoped for. Happy shoemaker!!!
I have two pair of Madison boots and my oldest ones needed new soles and heels. I took them to the local shoemaker and his first comment was "Comforts, where did you get them?" I was happy to tell him about Zappos and gave him the web site so he could order a pair. He then told me how he always wore them and then couldn't find them in the stores any more. I didn't know I was wearing boots that are so famous.

If you look for that vintage look, this is the ONE out there. Excellent make and durable, yet the high tight shaft needs getting used to, but gives great support. One suggestion... the contrast sole rim should be dyed to match, I had to.

Stacy Adams Madison Boot -
These shoes are a throwback to simpler times. My Grandfather, and most other men over 65 I knew as a child, wore these shoes. My pair are great, true to size, comfortable and great foe ankle support. I plan to buy another pair because I'm sure I'll wear these on a daily basis. I've had nothing but good fortune with Zappos.

Ah Leather Soles -
I ballroom dance and swing dance, so I was looking for a boot that could work for either. This fit the bill nicely. I can wear it in, dust it off and dance. Usual care for leather soles applies and if you expect to wear them long term, expect to replace the sole a time or two... Breaking them in hurt a fair bit. I recommend lacing them rather tightly the first few times wearing them to train the tongues properly. I wore my right foot a bit loose and that tongue is always drifting to one side now. It’s worth the couple days discomfort to properly break the shoe in. The shoe is long and thin, so take care when ordering and if you think you might need a wider shoe, order it wider... all in all great shoe and I love wearing a replica swing shoe swing dancing... A shame no one else notices...

I ordered late in the afternoon, received prompt email with shipping info for next day delivery. As described the leather was soft and comfortable, sizing was exact. Kudos to Stacy Adams as well! Would expect no less from a company in the business since 1875!!

Beautiful "Low Riders"
The boots are beautiful. The fit is good and they breathe and flex well. However the heel is WAY too low, so I had an extension pout on....now they're perfect!

A comfortable shoe - not totally black -
The only thing I would point out to buyer is that on the black shoe, the top side of the leather sole that you see surrounding the toe when you look down on the shoe is not black. (Check out the top view). It is natural leather color and the stitching is white. So if you want a solid black shoe, this might not be a good choice. This feature is not as noticeable on the brown version. Still, this is a very comfortable and nice looking shoe.

Nice retro boots -
I bought these boots for their classic elegance. They feel a bit narrow but thanks to the laces, this can be corrected to a certain extent. The boots are highly polished and this is something to take into consideration since this gives them a very formal look. They are squeaky as heck, but this might disappear with time and use.

Vintage Army Shoe -
If you need a vintage US Army dress shoe (1902-1920's) this is as close as you can come to. The welts would have to be dyed black and the tab assist is not included (not seen in uniform anyway), all else matches quartermaster drawings.

I wanted something that looked a little vintage, I was a little unsure if I would like the fit of the shoe because the leather looked hard and would be stiff. I was surprised as to how flexible the sole and how comfortable the shoe fit is. Now I love them and wear them all the time.

Beautiful, but unwearable!
When trying these shoes on, I found their shank was not strong enough -- I could feel the hard forward edge of the heel underneath my instep. They are, however, truly gorgeous shoes, so if the fit and construction are fine for you, go for it.

"My Old Favorite" -
Zappos’ service was phenomenal. I ordered one size too big and needed them immediately; I had another pair the next day. I had a pair of these in the late 60s and loved them... it's a good walking shoe. Very good support for being a high shoe.
