I stumbled upon Zappos and was glad I did. Excellent customer service and fair prices. I love these boots; they look great, like I've owned them for years. In a short time I have received many compliments and people want to know where they can get them. I ordered these boots a half size down from my normal size and was happy with the fit. I did have a problem with one of the boots, but Zappos took care of the problem (a Frye issue, not theirs), sent another pair to me, not waiting for the original boots to be returned and not charging my credit card for the second pair. My girlfriend liked the boots so much, I bought a pair of the belted harness boots for her. Wow! She looks great! Because of the customer service, where everyone is polite, helpful and doesn't sound like a robot, I have ordered a couple pair of jeans and plan on ordering more products from them. They say LL Bean is known for their service? Nothing against them, but Zappos has raised the bar!

This is a very well made boot. The leather is of a very high quality and the construction seems like these are made for years of wear. Many people have said to order them a half size small but from my experience I do not agree with this. I did this and they are right on the line of being too tight. I did not send them back and have opted to wear them every day. After nearly a month of wear they have broken in but still are a touch tight. This could be because they are such a sturdy shoe but the next time I will order my regular size.

Buy these boots... Seriously. Just do it.
First off, I have never been a boot guy, but I saw these in a department store last year and fell in love with them. I'm not exactly rich, so I had to wait patiently for an occasion that would justify the price tag. Thankfully that day came and I ordered a size 10.5 from another vendor since Zappos didn't have that size. I wear 10.5 sneakers, but when the boots arrived, they definitely felt too big, so I returned them and went with the size 10 pair from Zappos. Having worn them for a few weeks now, I realize that I should have gone down another half size to the 9.5s. As I broke them in, they loosened up a little. I still love the pair I have and am comfortable enough with a half size too big, but would suggest going a full size down from your sneaker size. Having worn them for a while now, I'd recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They are surprisingly comfortable given their rugged look and as far as style, I've gotten more compliments than I can remember. Bottom line - they're one awesome pair of boots.

Masculine Poetic, to boot!
I originally ordered these a half size smaller, as suggested by other reviewers. When they arrived and I tried them on (it's true you must struggle to slip your foot in the first few tries), I realized that though my foot fit nicely in the boot, my heel wasn't snug. So I ordered the next half size down (which is 1 size lower than what I normally wear). My heel still moved in the boot. So I called Frye to ask if this was normal. They told me it was. So I've been wearing these boots since, and I am loving it up. If you're worried about them looking clunky, they're not. They are deft and wonderfully crafted. The leather is like butter. I recommend this Frye boot to anyone... Zappos is one of the true great companies out there. Hats off.

Exactly what I wanted, but not really.
My only complaint is that the boots they shipped me were quite a bit lighter in color than the boots pictured. I realize that leather varies in color, so this is to be expected from time to time, but I was still a bit disappointed. Also, the boots were a bit tight, for a size 13, but after a few days they stretched out nicely. A few people have noted how the boots are comfortable upon purchase and don't need breaking in. I found that they, like all of my leather boots needed breaking in. I got mild blisters on the first day, but after a few days they were fine.

Great Shoe get a size lower than normal -
I normally where an 11. I had to return the 11's for a 10 1/2. They are narrower at first but widen within a couple of days. They are great boots.

For a 12 they are just a tad tight, even though I wear other shoes in size 12 and they feel perfect. Being a tad tight makes it a little uncomfortable (after long periods) and a pain to put on. Great shoes nevertheless; They look great!

These boots are great. Not only are they really comfortable, they are also very good looking. I have gotten several compliments on them. They are, without a doubt, my favorite pair of shoes. I highly suggest these boots to anyone and everyone.

BUY THIS BOOT!!!
These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on and needed no breaking in, which I didn't expect. They are a great boot to have and go well with everything. I have received plenty of compliments on them.
My experience with zappo's was great and I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Style and Quality -
I've bought Frye's before so I knew the quality was worth paying a little more. Frye's are really some of the most comfortable well made boots out there. I did have a bit of trouble with the size. I usually take a 10.5 but this seemed to slip a bit in the heel so I settled on the 10. It's a bit tight by the toes, but I'm hoping that it will stretch a bit over time. The look of these boots is fantastic and I've gotten plenty of compliments. I'm sure I'll own these boots for a very long time - the harness is just a great classic look.

Exactly what I was looking for. Will last forever, the buckle makes the boot.

I am very skeptical about ordering on line. That said, I could not be more satisfied with my new harness boots, and the service I received from Zappos. Once received, I needed to exchange for a smaller size. Not only did I receive my order promptly, but I was not charged shipping either way! Great job Zappos, thank you!

I have been looking for a pair of "weekend" boots for a while and these are exactly what I had in mind. It's my first shoe purchase over the internet, but they fit perfectly. Plus, my wife really digs them!

My Frye Harness boot experiance -
I really like the way these boots feel when there on. They look good. Feel very solid, and comfortable. Sadly they hurt like hell to get on and off. They actually cut the top of my foot trying them on. If they can make them easier to get on and off; this is a boot I would love to wear. I had to send my pair back because of the on and off problems.

These boots are awesome. They are very comfortable and fit well. They look very tough and masculine. Perfect for jeans. I ordered them around noon and received the next day by afternoon delivery ! ZAPPOS is the way to go.

These boots are off the meter! They're extremly comfortable, they look great and the pretty much go with anything. If you like biker boots these are a must!

Our son loves this boot. He said it is more comfortable than any shoe he has. He hasn't worn a boot in about two years so this was a great boot for him. Zappos worked with us on getting him the right size and the customer service is great. They are so nice and helpful and if the shoe doesn't fit they accept the charges for sending it back. But beyond all of that the boot is fantastically comfortable.

These boots are really cool looking. While not as comfortable as my Merrill mocs, they feel pretty good. I wear a size 9C-D in womens, so I bought the mens brown, size 7 1/2 because the womens were way too narrow. I'm going to get the black boots when they are available. Delivery was extremely fast and I would recommend Zappos as a great source for shoes!

My Son Loved These!
This is a great rendition of a 70's style of boots that has come back! I bought these for my 21 year old son for Christmas. He absolutely has nothing but praise for them. Shipment was immediate, very impressive. We did, however, have to return the first pair for an exchange as the boot runs about 1/2 size larger that his other footwear. The return and exchange process was equally fast and friendly. I would recommend these boots and the Zappos.com store to anyone!

Great boot-
Boot was so great looking and fit length-wise, but my husband has slightly wide feet and he could not get these boots to fit comfortably. Otherwise, product was received incredibly quickly during the 2003 holiday season and in great condition.

I ordered these boots in my exact size. When they first came, I thought they were too small. After wearing them for about an hour, they fit like a glove. I hate to take them off. They are also really cool looking.
