Excellent quality, so comfortable the first time I put them on that I wore them around town most of the day. Not too fond of the dull finish but I found that a little time with a shoe brush brought out some shine and I\'m sure with a little work they\'ll be acceptable. The color is a nice compromise between too flashy and plain, fitting well into most occasions.

Great Boot -
These are great boots. The leather is very soft and the chocolate brown is just a bit lighter than pictured online, but still dark enough to work with black jeans or slacks. The stitching over the toe box is black, not light as pictured. This was my first boot. Amazingly comfortable even when on my feet all day. I love 'em so much I ordered another pair in Antique Saddle Ranch. If you want these tight, maybe order a 1/2 smaller than your normal shoe size. I went with my shoe size and I wouldn't call them snug, but just right, the leather is so soft my feet can comfortably move around.

IF YOU'RE AN URBAN COWBOY...
I love these boots...honestly! The styling is classic AND fashion-forward -- comfortable too. So, I can wear them out to a nice restaurant; a business meeting or riding my Harley. I would recommend protecting the sole in some way (I had a shoemaker add rubberized material) in order to extend the life of the boot. As usual, Zappos service was terrific. I ordered the boots by phone and I received them the next day. I'm a longtime, loyal customer!

Another perfect boot -
Women with wide feet take note: you will find a perfect fit in the men's styles. This is my second pair. The comfort and craftsmanship is top notch.

Great Boots!
Really like the styling and fit well. If you go by the philosophy of “buy them with some slip” at the heels, then get your regular size. If you're from the camp of “put 'em on tight, break 'em in, they'll stretch out to a perfect fit”, then order a half size smaller.

Best Boot ever -
I was nervous about buying boots online but when they arrived the next day and I slipped them on they felt like they were custom made. No break-in was needed. They fit like a glove and are very comfortable.

More good boots from Lucchese -
This is my second pair of Lucchese boots and both are more than satisfactory. The goat leather on these has a grainy matte finish, not highly polished or smooth. It is soft and contributes to an excellent fit right out of the box. No break-in was required. These boots have become my favorites for casual wear.

Outstanding Lucchese boot -
This marks my 4th pair of Lucchese boots and they are all great! These are awesome boots, very comfortable with little or no break-in. Have received numerous compliments and everybody asks where I got them -- Zappos is the best Internet shoe retailer! They look great with jeans. I am an urban cowboy but wear these boots every chance I get. Highly recommend!

Pull straps broke!
Ten days into wearing these boots and the inside right pull loops= at the top of the boot is coming undone. I like the boot and this is inconvenient, I'm considering sending the boot back to the factory but I'll most likely get it stitched back locally...comfortable attractive boot any way!

Great Look, Great fit and top quality!
I put them on and they felt like I had owned them for years. They fit as if someone had made a custom mold of my feet. I wear them at work. I stand many times for hours in the operating room and my feet never get tired in these boots.

They just keep getting better!
I bought my first pair of Lucchese boots a few years back, and I'm sold on them. They just keep getting better and better. I will say that this series called the mad goat is my favorite. I have the tan, got the chocolate, and just purchased the black ones. The support is great and they go well not only with jeans, but also with khakis!!! Get yourself a pair of these before they're gone!!!

I had to call my husband to make sure it was just last night I ordered my Asics shoes, as I found them in my garage when I got home from work today! What is up with that???
