New and Improved!
I had retired my regular Arizona’s (owned for 11+ years) a few months back because they were just too hard to walk in. I found after getting rid of them that I really couldn't live without them, so I tried a pair with the soft footbed. Angels sang when I put them on my feet. I'm so glad that I gave these a try because I'm really a Birkenstock kinda gal.

Nothing finer...
Have owned Birkenstocks in various styles, but Arizona Soft footbed is by far my favorite. I wore my last pair for 6 yrs and had to replace them because there's nowhere locally I could go to have new soles put on. However, with soft bed, you don't have to go through the break in period. These are the best!!!

Three little words...I LOVE THEM - I have worn Birkenstock for several years due to a chronic case of plantar fasciitis. Birkenstock appears to be the only shoe that actually supports my weight and my arches enough to make the pain bearable. The only problem with regular Birks is that sometimes just the hardness of the footbed leaves me with corns and calluses that bother me. When I saw the soft footbed of Arizonas and read some of the feedback, I decided to try it myself. I received them yesterday and in three words I LOVE THEM. The soft footbed is the crowning glory on a great shoe. It gives some padding to the foot as it supports them with the original construction. I don't think I will ever buy a regular Birkenstock again. I just hope this softness lasts for as long as the shoe does! My one CON would be that the shoe felt a smidge shorter than my original Arizonas do but I can live with that. I don't think I would want to jump up a size, they just feel a touch shorter.

I love Birks! I cannot believe how fabulous the new soft footbed feels! Zappos has fast, fast shipping and they are the ONLY ones on the net with the regular width! I am soooo happy with these shoes. I suffer from plantar fasciitis in both feet and in just a day, my feet feel better! Fabulous job Zappos!

Comfortable but bulky - These sandals are really comfortable for me, but my husband feels that his slide forward and cause him to step on the back edge. I don't have that problem and think I will be able to wear these sandals throughout Europe. My only criticism is they look somewhat bulky on my narrow feet (even though I bought the narrow width model).

For those who can't wear flip flops - I bought these for my husband who has bad feet (needs support) and he is very picky about shoes. He loved these! He put them on, has had no complaints and his feet don't hurt. Success. I think they are the ugliest shoes, but I don't have to wear them. Thanks to all who sent in reviews. It is why I bought them. Thanks to Zappos for great service!

New Birks for "new feet" -
I recently had surgery for my bunions and a hammertoe and I thought this shoe would be great when the doctor said I could FINALLY wear shoes again. The soft footbed feels sooo good and the adjustable straps allow for any swelling that may occur. Besides those reasons, this is a very comfortable summer sandal and fun to wear. My "new feet" are very happy.

Fabulous shoe!
Very comfortable shoe. Love the soft footbed.I have lower back pain from sitting at a desk all day and these shoes have definitely helped. Be sure to order your true size. Birks are supposed to fit a little long for free movement of the toes. Also, order the narrow if you are a narrow or regular width. Once you get used to these shoes, you will never want to take them off!

Birkenstock Arizona sandals -
These are great sandals. They take a few wearings to get used to, but once you are used to them, they are like a second foot.

Great shoe. I have ordered several pairs already. A word to the wise when you are purchasing suede ones you should get narrow. The suede stretches out and your foot comes out.

Best sandal for plantar fasciitis!!! WOW -
These are the most comfortable shoes I ever wore. I put them on in the morning and don't take them off until bedtime. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis on my left foot and by far only this Birkenstock and my New Balance tennis shoes for work at the hospital do their job.

Have worn this particular style of Birk for years. The soft footbed makes it nicer. I do believe it is a smidge longer than the previous models of Arizona, however...

My dad says Birkenstocks rock!
I sent my Dad these shoes for his birthday. He has thanked me three times, and told me how much he loves them. They last for years and are well worth the price!

My husband really likes his birthday present. I bought him this sandal in Mocha Suede. He typically wears 10.5 wide, and size 44 (11-11.5) regular in this sandal fit him perfectly. The adjustable straps are a plus. Zappos customer service is great!

I bought my first pair or these about 13 years ago and I have worn them every summer since. I figured after 13 years it was time to replace them. They are just as great, but love the new soft footbed.

So Comfortable!
I have always loved Birkenstocks, but traded them in for fancier footwear after college. Recently, I started having some ankle swelling from sitting at a desk all day and decided that my fancy shoes weren't helping. I needed a comfortable shoe to wear and immediately thought of Birkenstocks. I have been wearing them at my desk and around the house and they feel great. I've also had so many complements on them and lots of my friends now want to get a pair as well. You can't go wrong with Birkenstocks if comfort is what you are after! I usually wear a 9.5 and the 40 fits me perfectly, although they are a little wider than I remember. Maybe I bought the narrow size before.

Stopped my heel pain -
I was suffering with heel pain for at least a year and a half. I tried everything, including those stupid expensive Good Feet inserts, and nothing worked until I started wearing these Birkenstocks exclusively. People make fun of me all the time for wearing sandals and socks, but I don't care because my feet don't hurt anymore!!!

Softer support -
I love the support of Birkenstocks but found that my feet felt a bit beat up by the soles. I discovered the soft footbeds first with the Boston’s and now with the Arizona’s; they are perfect. I get all the support I need and the bottom of my foot feels better. There are more and more sandals with the soft footbed and everyone should try one, they're great!

As always, perfect!
Both the Birkenstock's and Zappos were perfect. These revamped soft footbed Arizona's replaced the old version. I wear mine out every two years (I have no idea how so many people keep them forever). I don't mind replacing them or the cost because they've been a staple for me for so long. There is no break in time (for me, anyhow) though I was concerned that the new footbed would be a problem. It wasn't. Same size as always and a perfect fit. Now I just need the same in Nubuck. By the way, Zappos is the only place offering a choice of regular or narrow (I need regular), as well as choice of color. You cannot beat free ship both ways, either, and, to top it off, they overnighted them to me. If you've never tried Birkenstock's, these should be where you start, and if you've never tried Zappos, once you do, you'll never shop anywhere else!

First Comfortable Pair!
I've tried to wear Birkenstocks in the past, although none of them were comfortable. Now with the new soft footbed, there is not a tough breaking in period. My foot is super narrow and I ordered a narrow 38 and they fit great with slight room to spare.
